I feel for her. Thats what mock tests are for to show your instructor what u need help with. I hope she over comes her anxiety and get better in her lane disapline and speed of going 60. U got this girl
She does exactly what I still do, even 4 years after passing my licence - she tends to explain or even question what she did every so often. Be a little more confident in yourself, you can do all of that. Just like with that roundabout, the one in front was making a mistake, don't let him throw you off, you were right before. Also with the zebra crossing - of course you stopped, there was a person, don't question it afterwards.
Camille keep practicing you will get there . I learned in an SUV and then went onto a small car and did the same thing as you. I ended up buying an SUV when I passed my test . Definitely practice on roundabouts and you will get there. Aman is great for advice and I am sure by the time you take your test you will pass. All the best x

@@reecemesserthink that’s a bit unfair - she’s a learner, of course she’s going to make mistakes. everyone makes mistakes driving, regardless of how huge they are, you can drive perfectly in lessons, and then as soon as an exam comes and it’s dead silent it’s very nerve wracking, cut her a bit of slack, and don’t be so judgmental

@@DaSpecialZak Good luck, one tip from me. @@queensworld1814 The meaning of the left knee in the middle of your lane is your position is slightly to the right in the car. Therefore your left leg or knee is in the middle of the lane. Eventually this becomes second nature and you no longer have to visualise it.

I would wish you luck on your test but only luck for what kind of other drivers on the road you may encounter on it like this video - I think they're you're biggest concern to be honest! Not everyone passes on their first attempt and it's only a test, you get to have another go another day if not so it just means you have a little more work to do on some stuff. Like you say, just do your best and just drive. Maybe try and drive to impress? Show how much you know, how much of an example you can be compared to other road users out there and make the examiner pleased that she can finally pass someone this week... their previous students on the tests may have been absolutely terrible! 😅
7:00 If she had chosen the easier lane at the lights and been in the left hand lane here she would have had an additional 1,000 yards to merge with a lot more opportunity to observe and time joining the main road safely.
If you are talking about the countdown markers on main roads I am thinking generally it depends on what we are doing next. Approaching a roundabout it is different from exiting onto a slip road. The markers count down to where the slip road starts which if you can see a good clear length of slip road ideally going uphill being at 70 mph will be fine at the 0 yards point. Conversely being at 70 mph at the roundabout at the 0 yards point is catastrophic. In each case the MSM will fit in radically differently.
I've found it's good to make mistakes, so you are more careful the next time, they are painful at the time, but that helps them stick in your memory. Of course try and reduce the number of mistakes as you progress.
omg that’s exactly the same reason I failed my first test down to the truck aswell 😭 the examiner marked it as a serious instead of a dangerous that’s the only difference

Hi Aman. Hope you see this as wanted to put my experience of being similar to Camille with slip roads. It's great to watch your videos and Richard at Conquer driving as someone who has been driving for over 10 years. However, I still have until recently struggled with speed confidence on slip roads. A tip in Richard's video on slip roads was to always accelerate hard and slow down if needed. I never understood the match your speed to the traffic line when I was learning. Your explanation to Camille was good in terms of the speed limit. One thing I used to worry about was running out of slip road, particularly when it's busy. Not long after I passed my test in 2010/11 I remember I reached the end of the slip road and had to stop. Back then I was very preoccupied with trying to find a gap in the traffic and not knowing how fast a given car was traveling. Another thing that causes confusion is that a slip road is a give way line but what I don't think I ever got was the etiquette for helping someone join by moving over which can be difficult if busy. Equally, I wonder what the safest practise is when multiple cars are joining at a busy time. If one or more cars are ahead of you when going up a slip road is it better to hang back at a safe distance until the car in front has left the slip road/ you can see a gap and then accelerate or match the speed expected and trust the car in front won't need to brake due to traffic actually going a bit slower? I would guess that it depends on the conditions (e.g. too many cars joining in a traffic jam) and better to follow slower if there are a couple of cars ahead of you (or traffic on the motorway/ dual carriageway is obviously moving slower than expected). I tend to go more cautiously in case something unusual happens with a car in front.
If I join a sliproad with vehicles in front but the main road is free-flowing, especially if I'm behind slower vehicles, I drop back (off gas) immediately as I enter the sliproad so I can build up plenty of space in front. Try not to catch up to them until near the end. If you do it this way, you'll have plenty of "run-up" space to put your foot down a bit to merge in.
14:34 Zig-zags marked across the end of a Give Way junction should alert you to extreme caution to a pedestrian crossing very close on the new road. If you are turning right at this one the pedestrians might help you emerge but turning left they might cause you to fail a test..
Saying things like "Don't know why I stopped actually" when there was literally a woman and her dog on a pelican crossing right in front of your eyes on your left, 3 feet from the junction...You prob don't wanna be saying that lol. Also needs to stop swinging out just for a regular left turn almost blocking traffic behind her on the other lane. She isn't driving a bus.
I'm getting a little scared. That look of Aman to Camille in the Thumbnail! I look forward to the Video. Thank you Aman for another Sunday video to look forward to!
When i did my class 2 and class 1 HGV licenses ...you had to do a pre trip inspection of your vehicle before going out on the road on your lesson and have a good knowledge of heavy goods vehicle's....really should be the same for cars in my opinion.....just a thought...
26:05 I was literally just looking this up on the internet approximately 30 minutes ago. Where I live, people frequently turn into the right lane as they are preparing to turn left at an intersection. They don't even do it to make a U-turn. They simply do it. It's so annoying and dangerous. They turn toward incoming cars that are passing by.
An interesting and very pleasant to watch video -- as always! Speaking from the perspective of the road regulations in my country, I always feel it slightly strange that the use of indicators is so optional or conditional in many situations in the UK. Yes, I get the reasons behind it, like, for example, there's little point in indicating when there's clearly no one around, and then, more importantly, that the indicator should mark a significant change of direction, so that to indicate an expected return to your lane is made somewhat undesirable if there's a turn in the same direction which you aren't taking, but somebody might think you are, because of the indicator. However, all those potential misunderstandings can be avoided by indicating only briefly or for a longer time, depending on the situation, and besides, even if you're just changing a lane and not taking an adjacent turn, the path of your car still changes direction and it's very useful, IMO, to confirm to other road users that you're vehicle is not veering of the course without the driver's awareness. I think it's just sensible to indicate always. And especially with fresh drivers: it creates a good habit. It's just like with the blindspot checks: are they always necessary? Well, probably not, because if you're on a very quiet road, you would have probably seen and/or heard an approaching vehicle before it came alongside you. But in many more busy streets cars will be passing you often, so you have to make sure the coast is clear there and then. That's why it's way better to make the blindspot check an obligation and a habit. In my opinion, it's the same thing with the indicators. Sorry for the rant :).
Those beeen reeealy scary bits 😮 I kept thinking why she drive so on the right side, the 4x4 could be the answer but if she drives now small cars then I still don’t get it. Great vid tho, thanks Aman ❤
I'm a learner driver and these videos are always so helpful but I'm still confused about the roundabout she did when she started in the right lane and then apparently moved into the wrong one. I understand how it was wrong the second time she moved into yet another wrong lane but I thought she stayed in the right lane when she was first entering the roundabout? The road markings said that lane was going in the same direction as the lane she was in before the roundabout. Can someone explain?
Failed my test for the 2nd time Saturday, got flustered over messing up my parallel park about half way through then just my anxiety just made me crumble 😢 just can’t seem to get a handle on my nerves
Can I ask a question about how far should I sit when driving? Me and my husband have very different view. He thinks we shouldn't have our leg straight when pressing the clutch. My instructor said my leg should be straighten up when pressing the clutch. Which one is correct?
The closer to the wheel you are, the more painful the airbag when it hits you. 😉 If your leg is bent when clutching, you may not have the room to move freely. Personally, I don’t understand how anyone can be so close that their leg is bent to clutch. Then again, I’m short and don’t like being so close anyway. As long as you can reach the accelerator, brake, and can press the clutch to the floor, that’s as close as you want to be.
@@lovablesnowman Yeah all she has to do is speed up next time… yeah it’s not good at the moment. But it’s mistakes that are easy to fix, just speeding up to 60.
Have you done a video on roundabouts as i have failed twice already. But I have to take my theory again. I can drive but get nervous easily. I dislike Roundabouts as we have big one where I live
I was the same with roundabouts but my instructor told me just worry about the traffic coming from the right and not about what everyone else is gonna do from like the left if you get what I mean ? Also if you struggle to pull out look at what the cars are doing at the next junction on the left if he is indicating right you know in a couple of second that car will come round so when you see that car come round the roundabout u should have plenty of time to pull out safely because that car will stop other cars coming around. If that makes sense hope it helps
@@AndyH2023. thank you, I will try I think I just get nervous quicker and worry if I am in the right lane as be times where I have gone in the wrong lane or got to close to a car on a roundabout

She needs a few more times to try to work out the anxiety for sure 😂😢. Nobody is perfect and if they get more of a chance to pass and more time to practice. It will be good for them with a professional with them
I got frustrated while trying to reverse parallel park at one point and that kinda ruined my entire day. Drive safe everyone and BREATH. Its ok. Just dojt forget to breath.
Thinking about the slip road: I'm assuming only the clutch and brake have dual controls. Would it be beneficial for there to be a dual accelerator as well? Just say "my car" and take over control in that situation?
So, Camille will Learn from this. ❤ She did well considering this is a new car for her 😊 She would need more practice in some areas :) 14:35 you had to stop silly, give way and a solid white Line.
Hi Camille i had the same problem where i occasionally move towards other lanes. What helps is trying to not hold the steering too tight.
“I don’t know why I stopped there actually”
Aman: 🤨
When i did my class 2 and class 1 HGV licenses ...you had to do a pre trip inspection of your vehicle before going out on the road on your lesson and have a good knowledge of heavy goods vehicle's....really should be the same for cars in my opinion.....just a thought...
Passed still watching crew - hit a like here ...lets boost her awesome YT even further. :)
What are those roundabouts man 😂😂
Pleased to say I’ve joined the passed club! Feels good tbh
I can’t wait til I pass bc I wanna do a delivery driving job and plus i have more opportunity for work
Wow 😮
Love the video her confidence was so great
Love Watching Her Videos ...
I don’t think I’ll learn to drive but I could one day.
nice vid, fun watching these, if this was DAS motorcycle test this would of been stopped time ago lol
That thumbnail 🥰
It's _bombastic!..._
My first test is coming up in 2 weeks and the panic is starting
Awareness is key here
Those beeen reeealy scary bits 😮 I kept thinking why she drive so on the right side, the 4x4 could be the answer but if she drives now small cars then I still don’t get it. Great vid tho, thanks Aman ❤
Hi, been watching Yr video and I passed my test 1st try, thanks and keep it up.
17:31 why is Camille gently tapping the empty-path curb a failing point? What danger does it pose, and, in this scenario, to who?
Switching lanes in front of an Aldi is perfectly fine it’s an Aldi that’s there style of driving
12:52 - 'my instructor said so', so she's not her driving instructor.
Such a brilliant idea...We need someone like you to do this in new zealand!!!!!Omg Some drivers here are ahhhhhhh!!!!!❤
Same with Australia
Ngl, when I visited Melbourne for the first time, I was fearing for my life in the passenger seat 😂😂😭
I think it's a problem worldwide... 😅
It weirds me out that you use mph in the UK. Use the metric system… except for driving. 😂
And we (the US) use standard… except for fasteners. 😂
Terminators from the future masquerading as driving instructors.
??
What?
Dw tho it takes time I’m sure ull pass u can do it sis bc I struggle the most at parking that’s the hardest thing I did 3 point turn first try doe
@@dynamicdylan8926 thank you for the boost! Hopefully I’ll get it next time 🥰
@@dynamicdylan8926 I just wanted to come back to tell you that I passed today!!! 🎉🎉
Make me wonder how I would do on your test. Course not only would I be learning opposite road direction but also manual drive lol
Bit dangerous coming out on a lorry like that they could have gone into you and then you would have lost a big accident
Thank you so much your videos helped
I passed today with 4th minors 3rd attempt ❤
Well done
Well done 😊
Obviously needs more work on roundabouts and dual carriageways. Her driving on ordinary roads is fine.
14:31 😅 the facial expression
When you stop on the red light why she cant put to neutral and just step on brake instead of clutch and brake
cant wait
Is it possible that we can use Google maps as visualizations while driving. It might give the driver more confidence and all can be safe
If your leg is bent when clutching, you may not have the room to move freely. Personally, I don’t understand how anyone can be so close that their leg is bent to clutch. Then again, I’m short and don’t like being so close anyway. As long as you can reach the accelerator, brake, and can press the clutch to the floor, that’s as close as you want to be.
Her driving is not bad at all just silly mistakes. If she keeps practicing her lane discipline during roundabouts and dual carriageways she’ll pass
She nearly caused several accidents???? That bit with the truck coming up behind her was genuinely a bit hairy. Aman looked worried
@@lovablesnowman Yeah all she has to do is speed up next time… yeah it’s not good at the moment. But it’s mistakes that are easy to fix, just speeding up to 60.
If the drivers that Aman got where perfect, none of learner's watching wouldn't learn anything.
Has she been driving round car parks for 40 hours ??
@@zen_meditation217 if your not sure u are in the right lane it does not matter just go where ever that lane goes as long as you do it safely the instructor will tell you how to get back on track but you WONT fail as long as you do it safely. Before you know it you will do it pretty easily:)
@@AndyH2023. thank you I used to have an Intructor and having an Intructor for the past two years but it was too much so I got my own car and my partner with me when I take my car out. I am fine with everything else it’s just roundabouts
@@zen_meditation217 sorry I meant examiner in your test
I love that pattern on you, it's very eye-catching, you always bring creativity and uniqueness to your dress sense, a blend of casual and elegance. Camillie forgets the minors, and goes straight for the serious and dangerous, this lesson was like watching Mad Max .😆
@16:48 Aman looked seriously 😮
Do yk what camille said at 14:38
Bc whatever she said I don’t think aman liked it
@@dynamicdylan8926 I can only make out something like "Why'd I stopped at chin?" LOL
@@Drew-Dastardly omg I hope that wasn’t it bc I thought I heard why did I stop for her
I also hope that wasn’t it
She needs a few more times to try to work out the anxiety for sure 😂😢.
Take a deep breath and relax
Who was she training with that she doesn't know to use blinker when moving off after 40 hours? 🤔
Thinking about the slip road: I'm assuming only the clutch and brake have dual controls. Would it be beneficial for there to be a dual accelerator as well? Just say "my car" and take over control in that situation?
So, Camille will Learn from this. ❤
She did well considering this is a new car for her 😊
She would need more practice in some areas :)
14:35 you had to stop silly, give way and a solid white Line.
She definitely was nervous because of being on camera.
Hopefully she takes her time more when driving.
21:26 or use your left knee in being centre of the road
23:17 that car should have signalled and use blinker
MISSED😧 your VIDEOS due to the CONTRAVERSY of INDIA and CANADA 😯ISSUE.But now OK.☺️
We can see that Aman just does not like her. But all fair judgment.
Felt that too you have good eye
My proprioception must have left my body completely because lining up my left knee or shoulder with the center of the lane doesn't work for me.
Lmaooo if overreact was a person
In the book I have off my trainer it says to open the bonnet etc it also says if they get it wrong it would result in a driving fault?
