I bought a refurbished 13P last year and it still feels like a new premium phone. So far, the negatives have been quite thick bezels, no dot or decimal on the first page of the keyboard, and no consistent back gesture.

Just buy a Pro. It is business and it's smart from Apple to do that. Apple know Apple fanboys are keen to buy 120hz Pro iPhone and it works.

Loving my iPhone 13 Pro the longer I keep it. Tried limiting the frame rate to try and get a better battery life, but it's the same. Will probably keep it another 3 years after a battery swap with AppleCare.

13 pro does have a better overall camera but 15 have a way better main sensor and photonic engine, if your priority is to take photos, 15 will definitely be a better option, however if you want an excellently balanced all in one camera setup, 13 pro is undeniably better

@@incognito5416 like I said, for photos mainly, 15 is better, 13 pro has a very-what should I say-reliable and versatile camera setup that can get the work done in many cases, like, cinematic video for example, 13 pro having a LiDAR sensor makes it much much better in separating the foreground and the background, the ultra wide lense too, both have 12 mp but since the sensor on 13 pro is bigger it lets more light in, hence better photos…….LiDAR also helps in better portrait shots…
I dunno, have never compared them side by side but having a 13 pro myself I can tell it’s absolutely phenomenal…..and knowing I can also tell they will never give a base model a perfect camera setup

@C3lloman I know but its still very noticeable and someone here mentioned about watching it from phone screen like its any different, 60video on 60hz is 60 looking at whatever screen that has at least 60 but still u can tell in the video wich phone has 120fps because probably the 60fps of the phone and the camera aren't produced by the phone and captured by the camera simultaneously so the 60hz screen looks like less than 60 in the video..

If you're paying a premium price, you deserve to have a 120Hz display. I don't understand why people defend Apple so vigorously as if they are receiving iPhones for free. Also, it's not the case that the 60Hz display reduces the cost for a standard iPhone.
IPhone 15 is the base model so don't expect pro features. Just because some android phone offer 120 for cheaper prices doesn't mean they are better. The 15 is way more powerful, better or and cameras from any midrange android phone
They may be way more powerful but being that iOS is pretty limed in multitasking abilities and deep customization or more computer like use they don't really benefit all that much from those improved power numbers. The 120hz on the iPhone makes it feel like a modern smooth iPhone though

Nice comparison man, but I think you forgot one more comparison; USB-C. This jump from Lightning in 13 series to type c is the reason I exchange my 13 mini to 15 base model. The usability of this port is amazing despite the base 15 still have usb 2.0. No need for MFi certified thing and I can just plug my external SSD for data transfer. This thing of course did not come with the lightning one 13 series.
Came across this video because I’m thinking about swapping my iPhone 13 Pro for the iPhone 15. Just wanted a change as I’ve had the 13 pro for a while now. But one of the things I’ve always praised and loved about the 13 pro is the 120hz. I don’t know if I can go back to a 60hz phone. I love how quick the 13 pro is, not sure what to do!

Now those 2 would be i interesting because 14 pro 120 hz better than base 16 and both would have dynamic island now so it will be more interesting with more similar in design than 13 pro and base 15. Furthermore I assume it will have the same ram management but base 16 might be a bit faster so that will make very interesting video

Guys, i upgraded from XR to 15 and you better get yourself an android if you think about switching.
The phone goes hot as crazy when you use fast charge (which is 20W on IPhone lol), XR didn’t heat that much, i already know that this problem started from iPhone 13. This kills the battery which is sad.
Battery life is not that good, just ok, it would make a day without gaming or other heavy apps, but not more.
Also phone can heat up in lite ups sometimes, without any reason.
Screen is much better, but if you check middle end androids you wouldn’t find a difference, except 120 hz on all Android phones today (60hz doesn’t bother me much, but that shouldn’t be an option in 2024)
I am in Apple ecosystem so it’s hard for me to switch, but if you can you should, android phones are fast and pretty now, stop thinking like its 2015 and andoud is a buggy mess, times changes.

I would never exchange my 13 Pro with dynamic refresh rate for a iPhone 15 with 🗑️ Island which takes more place on the screen and doesn't bring significative improvements.

So basically 14 pro vs 13 pro… it would be interesting to see if they put a17 pro in 16 base, but I think they don’t want pro name in base model so they might just throw in an a18 bionic
8:39 the iphone 13 pro on amazon is at 483 dollars and second handed probably even cheaper, you could find it, and the iphone 15 plus is at 745 dollars in amazon so you are definetly saving a bit of money for it
I like how every content creator is making a huge deal out of the iPhone 15 not having 120hz, I've felt 120hz before, but comparing an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 15, is not a huge difference to me, I understand it's smoother but the better performance will be on the iPhone 15 with the nice 60hz. Also, on the iPhone 15, you have the ability to see your charge cycles, while no other older base model iPhone can’t. Another thing, on the iPhone 15, you have the ability to use 48 megapixels with that nice 10x zoom, compared to the 12 megapixels and 15x zoom on the iPhone 13 Pro.
Got the 13 pro this year (switched from samsung) and must say I will be keeping this phone til its unsupported
This video shows that A15 and a newer generation A16 Bionic chips are literally the same chips except for the nanometers that have such a negligible difference.
Nice comparison! Considering Apple still manufactures the regular 13 in 2024 (bought one for my kiddo with two year Apple care) and bought a renewed official 13 pro from Apple myself I’m super happy. 2 year warranty and Apple care on both. Crazy. For most people I would recommend going with a 2 year old phone for 400 dollars or more less… for pretty much similar performance. 13 pro camera is no slouch either. Be interesting to see how things look like for the 16 in a couple months but essentially iPhone 13 and 13pro until 15 and pro are the same architecture and phone with minimal updates. Also loving my stainless steel vs titanium haha. 😂 great video here!!
When you realise the 13 Pro can play games at 90 and 120fps, while the iPhone, even though technically faster can run them only at 60 😅😂
13 Pro would be a great choice for the 120 hz display and cheaper price since it will still last for another 3-4 years

I have been rocking an iphone 13 pro max for 2 years already and it performs like on day one. I play a lot on my phone and im glad i dont have the dynamic island. I tried the iphone 14 pro max in the apple store when it came out cause i thought i wanted to have it but this was enough of a reason to keep my 13 pro max instead. This pill was always in the way when playing or watching videos. Im waiting for apple to make it even smaller or completely remove the dynamic island. Im not a fan of it.

The iphone 13 series is the still the best ever in peak apple performance, also the regular 13 and the regular 15 doesnt have that much difference rlly it has a upgrade which the iphone 14 should have gotten

it has very little to do with what the device is "now" worth, 120hz is still a "premium" feature; therefore it makes no sense that their base models or "budget" devices would have premium features.

What about the battery power? Battery power is also important, as is 60hz. 13 pro's battery is less than 15. 13 pro has promotion 120hz, and 3 cameras but all features that are better than 15, use battery and we struggle with it. But 15 has more battery power than 13 pro, even if it does not 120hz. And its beautiful, hand, and dynamic island gives another emotion. I would prefer to buy 15 as a person who does not play games depending on 120hz
You ran different versions of Geekbench on the two phones. 6.3.0 on the IPhone 13 Pro Max, and 6.2.0 on IPhone 15.

Apple already know that 60hz is dated at this point, but they have to give customers a reason to get a Pro iphone because the day they put 120hz on the regular iphones there is no reason to get a pro anymore
And thats your opinion. Pro models come with better cameras and processors even brightness, different colors, material being used. They may even increase from 120hz to 180 maybe 200hz

Not only that because i think the chipset was the main reason why to upgrade to a base new model because i think the cameras at least for me on a year older pro max are better than the newest base model. It has to happend at least two or maybe three generation to make the camera of the base model better or for regular users to notice the difference Also you know saving money is part of the reason why not buy the latest.
5:24 a year old pro in performance i don't think would it be better than having the latest chipset they probably just do it to recycle their old chips to save money. Who knows how much but definetly i think it makes them earn a Lot more. And is also you know marketing strategy same as the 120 hz display to make you buy the pro and the pro max.

I almost dont see any difference with its loading time. I mean, who cares? They are just the same for me. But 15 looks better and the screen itself just look much better. I bought 15 from the 13 promax and im so loving it.

The 120Hz refresh rate is nice but for a lot of folks, the 60Hz works just fine. You get used to a little more choppiness when scrolling with the 60Hz. You don't notice the difference after a while. I prefer 60Hz and lower screen resolution settings to preserve my battery and extend my time between charges. That's far more important than smoother scrolling and higher screen resolutions.
Once you go 120hz you cant go back to 60hz.
@@Perfectcf Yes, you can! I went back to 60Hz and 720p resolution because the benefits of a longer battery life and more screen time between charges far exceed the extra refresh rate and resolution that I happily gave up.

don't under any circumstance get the 14. the 13 is the exact same hardware as the 14. the 13 pro can be found for cheaper than a base 13, so you should get that.
