Dimash's voice gets me every single time. I thought that "Give me love" was his most tender song. I was wrong. Then he sang "Angel love" and I thought that this was his most fragile, yet so powerful song. I was wrong. Again. If he continues to sing like this, my heart will break beyond repair. I honestly couldn't stop crying listening to this "Grateful to Fate" performance. All I can say, is that we - as humans - should be grateful to fate for Dimash. There's nothing else to say. (I'd love to see your reaction and listen to your comments on his performance of "Unforgettable Day" BUT in the 2021 version!)
This beautiful song was written in 1993 with the composer's wife in mind, then it was given to Dimash's vocal teacher, who was also Dimash's mother's - Svetlana - vocal teacher and still teaches in Aktobe, Di's hometown. Mr. Marat Aitymov sang it many many times with piano or orchestra accompaniment, there are videos of these performances on YT. Dimash asked many times if he could also perform this song, Mr. Marat of course agreed, and here it is. Wonderfully arranged by Di's friend - the amazing pianist and composer Renat Gaissin and produced by another friend - Erlan Bekchurin. Dimash sang this song at the opening of the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Astana (alongside WIGY and Weekend). The delighted teacher posted a video of this performance on the internet with a very nice praise of his brilliant student. Interestingly, in the mv you can sometimes see Dimash's right hand bandaged, and under his coat he is wearing the same suit and turtleneck that he wore at the concert... Could it be that recording this mv was a spontaneous idea of Dimash and his friends right after or before the concert? 😉 Thank you for your wonderful reaction, you don't have to be ashamed of crying when it has such a sweet reason, and even any reason is good. Yes, his arm 😢. They filmed him a way that arm is hidden, and he got an umbrella in the other hand so he was still until the end of the song. He could not fly, he could not paint with them, he is like a chained bird for me in this video. But it is so enough, just him in the middle of the autumn, singing still this wonderful melody.

The original singer of this song is actually Dimash's old teacher, Dimash asked his permission to perform the song, Marat agreed and Dimash did a brand new arrangement and performed it live at the Almaty Open Tennis Tournament which he headlined before it started. Apparently he and his friends were walking in the park and decided to film an off the cuff music video, we don't know when but it's definitely within the last 5 days as Dimash broke his hand on the 12th which they've mostly managed to cover up by cleverly focusing on one side and his face. You can occasionally just catch a glimpse of his bandaged right hand. Let's hope he didn't plan on playing piano when he joins Hauser in Singapore for the Virtuosos concert later this month.
It is such a beautiful song, but it is such an unusual sight, to see Dimash so still. It is out there in the Dear-universe that Dimash broke his arm, and I wondered about his hand as well since he doesn't move it at all. This video doesn't include the cast over his elbow to his bicep, nor the sling, and I feel the hiding of his arm....it hurts to see him so still. It suits the song, and the video is beautiful, with the autumn colors all over. There isn't even any wind, like everything in the world has gone still so he doesn't have to use his injured arm even if it were not injured. This makes me cry, too, but for more reasons than chords and beautiful technique. I read two or three people say Dimash broke his arm in an accident while filming a video, and his mother (according to another person) said he slipped in the bathroom, and I guess it doesn't matter as long as he heals well so he can "fly" again with his wing. I just wish someone would admit what really happened, so we could stop worrying so vividly. We are his Dears, and no matter what we love him. I and many others are praying for him to heal fully and fly again.

Different stories are worrisome, but with so many commenting, the rumour mill about what happened is likely to go in several directions. Yes, lets just all send him positive energy to heal quickly. @@LinMonash No rumor mills. His mom answered Dears. He broke two fingers. His arm was in a sling for the first week or so to reduce swelling and protect his hand until they can put it in a cast. (it was only bandaged in Almaty and this video) We seen him in Singapore with short sleeves. Only his hand is in cast just up to above his wrist. It's two fingers. It literally takes 2 minutes of google search to check how a cast for broken fingers looks like compared to a broken arm or a wrist. Unless Dimash worked with entirely different team, he wasn't recording any MVs. LightProduction was working on an MV for another artist at the time he got injured. Dears just really like spreading rumors. On how it happened, his mom said that he fell in the bathroom and hit his hand. It doesn't even matter if it's true or not. Dimash himself doesn't want to talk about it, the version his mom gave is the version we can share around since it comes directly from his family.

Kazakh is such a beautiful language, I always loved listening to Russian, but I like Kazakh even more, especially when Dimash sings. I feel I need to learn this language. And this song, this performance is so beautiful, too, another example for Dimash´s musical skills without the "crazyness" of his high register or the complex arrangements - just pure Dimash - I would have been surprised if your body hadn´t reacted to it.

This was written in 1993 and was first performed publicly by Dimash's teacher Maestro Marat Aitimov. Dimash asked permission to sing this and it premiered when he performed at the opening ceremony of the Almata Open Tennis tournament. It was barely noticeable here, but Dimash's right forearm is in a bandage. The elbow is free, but the forearm, wrist and fingers are immobilized. We don't know the details. We all hope he heals soon.

Dimash's voice gets me every single time. I thought that "Give me love" was his most tender song. I was wrong. Then he sang "Angel love" and I thought that this was his most fragile, yet so powerful song. I was wrong. Again. If he continues to sing like this, my heart will break beyond repair. I honestly couldn't stop crying listening to this "Grateful to Fate" performance. All I can say, is that we - as humans - should be grateful to fate for Dimash. There's nothing else to say. (I'd love to see your reaction and listen to your comments on his performance of "Unforgettable Day" BUT in the 2021 version!)

This beautiful song was written in 1993 with the composer's wife in mind, then it was given to Dimash's vocal teacher, who was also Dimash's mother's - Svetlana - vocal teacher and still teaches in Aktobe, Di's hometown. Mr. Marat Aitymov sang it many many times with piano or orchestra accompaniment, there are videos of these performances on YT. Dimash asked many times if he could also perform this song, Mr. Marat of course agreed, and here it is. Wonderfully arranged by Di's friend - the amazing pianist and composer Renat Gaissin and produced by another friend - Erlan Bekchurin. Dimash sang this song at the opening of the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Astana (alongside WIGY and Weekend). The delighted teacher posted a video of this performance on the internet with a very nice praise of his brilliant student. Interestingly, in the mv you can sometimes see Dimash's right hand bandaged, and under his coat he is wearing the same suit and turtleneck that he wore at the concert... Could it be that recording this mv was a spontaneous idea of Dimash and his friends right after or before the concert? 😉

Yes, his arm 😢. They filmed him a way that arm is hidden, and he got an umbrella in the other hand so he was still until the end of the song. He could not fly, he could not paint with them, he is like a chained bird for me in this video. But it is so enough, just him in the middle of the autumn, singing still this wonderful melody.

The original singer of this song is actually Dimash's old teacher, Dimash asked his permission to perform the song, Marat agreed and Dimash did a brand new arrangement and performed it live at the Almaty Open Tennis Tournament which he headlined before it started.
Apparently he and his friends were walking in the park and decided to film an off the cuff music video, we don't know when but it's definitely within the last 5 days as Dimash broke his hand on the 12th which they've mostly managed to cover up by cleverly focusing on one side and his face. You can occasionally just catch a glimpse of his bandaged right hand.
Let's hope he didn't plan on playing piano when he joins Hauser in Singapore for the Virtuosos concert later this month.
It is such a beautiful song, but it is such an unusual sight, to see Dimash so still. It is out there in the Dear-universe that Dimash broke his arm, and I wondered about his hand as well since he doesn't move it at all. This video doesn't include the cast over his elbow to his bicep, nor the sling, and I feel the hiding of his arm....it hurts to see him so still. It suits the song, and the video is beautiful, with the autumn colors all over. There isn't even any wind, like everything in the world has gone still so he doesn't have to use his injured arm even if it were not injured. This makes me cry, too, but for more reasons than chords and beautiful technique. I read two or three people say Dimash broke his arm in an accident while filming a video, and his mother (according to another person) said he slipped in the bathroom, and I guess it doesn't matter as long as he heals well so he can "fly" again with his wing. I just wish someone would admit what really happened, so we could stop worrying so vividly. We are his Dears, and no matter what we love him. I and many others are praying for him to heal fully and fly again.

Different stories are worrisome, but with so many commenting, the rumour mill about what happened is likely to go in several directions. Yes, lets just all send him positive energy to heal quickly.
As for the song, 'tis very beautiful, and delivered with Dimash's usual fine sensitivity and nuance. A powerful song about the glory and the vulnerability of love. Written apparently by his vocal teacher years ago.
@@LinMonash No rumor mills. His mom answered Dears. He broke two fingers. His arm was in a sling for the first week or so to reduce swelling and protect his hand until they can put it in a cast. (it was only bandaged in Almaty and this video) We seen him in Singapore with short sleeves. Only his hand is in cast just up to above his wrist. It's two fingers. It literally takes 2 minutes of google search to check how a cast for broken fingers looks like compared to a broken arm or a wrist. Unless Dimash worked with entirely different team, he wasn't recording any MVs. LightProduction was working on an MV for another artist at the time he got injured. Dears just really like spreading rumors. On how it happened, his mom said that he fell in the bathroom and hit his hand. It doesn't even matter if it's true or not. Dimash himself doesn't want to talk about it, the version his mom gave is the version we can share around since it comes directly from his family.

Kazakh is such a beautiful language, I always loved listening to Russian, but I like Kazakh even more, especially when Dimash sings. I feel I need to learn this language.

I was surprised by this new video and actually saw a reaction posted before I even saw the notification from Dimash’s channel. Very poignant and beautiful song. I am becoming strangely fond of the Kazakh language without any real exposure to it. I will maintain that- as versatile as Dimash’s voice is- this is the style I love the most. Dimash makes any language sound melodic. I found that I enjoy the sound of Kazakh and Mandarin languages in songs when HE sings them.

This was written in 1993 and was first performed publicly by Dimash's teacher Maestro Marat Aitimov. Dimash asked permission to sing this and it premiered when he performed at the opening ceremony of the Almata Open Tennis tournament. It was barely noticeable here, but Dimash's right forearm is in a bandage. The elbow is free, but the forearm, wrist and fingers are immobilized. We don't know the details. We all hope he heals soon.
