One of the best progressive metal riffs ever made by the band Invent Animate! This has taken me over 100 attempts to film and record this riff, which was a nightmare but this take was genuinely the best I could do. Enjoy!

This riff isn't bad it just seems like something hardly anyone might remember in 10 years

Honest question. How many guitar tracks does it take to get that kinda of tone?
Just one guitar track with pre-EQ on the DI, amp sim with an IR, post EQ processing and low compression.

@@brianburke46mine comes in a couple of days, I almost bought the rg8ms but decided against it
I think it's ernie ball 7 string power slinky with a 74 gauge on top for the low end feel
