God, I remember when he first rebranded his channel. It's wild to think he thought he could do so many segments on his channel by himself and manage them all without going absolutely bananas. Puppicarus was the straw that broke the camel's back, though. I think even Caddy doesn't want to acknowledge the series these days, as the character's only been referenced once since Caddy cancelled the segment.
Over the years my mum has referred to Crash Bandicoot as “Bash Candicoot” and “Cash Bandicorn” and I’m not sure which I like better. Also, my wife once asked me why he was “a Fox that liked apples” and I promptly filed for divorce.

His new content is good, but i miss when he would make videos on just one thing/game instead of 1 - 2 1/2 hour videos of him just speedrunning (and breaking) stuff (also because he's been using the same title template for the past 3 (almost 4 now) years (The "insert adjective here" world of "insert topic here"). And I get why that is the case; he cracked the code on TH-cam's algorithm, lol). Again this is not an attack on his new content, I just feel like his old stuff was a lot easier to digest because these videos are nowhere near as long as the newer ones.
He largely did it because of the pandemic saga (or the Bricks Saga) and a lot of people were stuck at home during the quarantine with nothing to do so Caddy could make longer videos and they'd be guaranteed to get tons of views. Quinton Reviews was doing the same thing with his Nickelodeon Sitcom Universe series. It's also just less strenuous and you're not as confined to a deadline as much, and your content generally becomes a lot more focused.
Here's the thing. I LOVED Caddy's Retrospectives. It was a nice way to give a History, Behind the Scenes and Special Secret Factoids that are nicely spiced together. Now while its nice and all to listen to Crash again and see new material and any corrections....I'll be giving tough love. I cannot begin to describe how PISSED i was that you cancelled Caddy's Retros BEFORE you could reach the Spyro trilogy (btw good LUCK on reaching THAT many subs to get to that milestone. I'll be sure to enjoy it when i'm in the senior home.) If you had deleted the old videos you would have lost a subscriber. O-KAY enough negativity LETS GET CASHIN BANNOOCA-ING!!

GoogMaster Zero Ratchet and Sly are good platformers if not better in the platforming genre than Jak(except for the first Jak game) but Jak series is oscar worthy man, just mature and overall badass.

They probably got hit before they collected the third Aku Aku mask crate in the level. That happened to me back when I was new to Crash Bandicoot and was not used to how Crash moved, and so I ended up landing next to a mob instead of bouncing on top of it, and I would then try to spin, but there was a slight delay after I pressed the button to spin; so I ended up getting hit by the mob. Getting the row of boxes without the Aku Aku invincibility is definitely a bit more challenging, but I never found it impossible.

I think "restrospectives" was caddy's best work by far. It was interesting and well made. Maybe it was a consuming work, but in my opinion, 100% worth it. Hear caddy say it was a mess really saddens me, even more because i think it was better than anything he does right now.

For me Crash 1 is underrated its not as good as 2 and 3 but i think it deserves more love Yes it hasnt aged that well and in some places the challenge can get BS hard but i love how simplistic it is and so fun that i really appreciate what it does I prefer the other 2 games of the trilogy but i love crash 1 for its pure simplicity and fun factor its still my 3rd favorite crash game ever made and the d pad controls feel actually comfortable and the level design is VERY smart I already said it but I love Crash 1 Good on you naughty dog
