I'd love to see that too, since from what I remember of the game, not many levels with it being easy to get to the end level, and the game play felt inspired by Toy Story 2.

He specifically mentioned that he was talking about the boosts you get from jumping off of ramps, not the entire boost system. Ramp boosts didn't appear in Mario Kart until after CTR did them.

But if he was in reference to a system that let you "do tricks" (or just time a command input) while losing contact with the ground to get a small speed boost, then yeah, CTR is the idea leader on that front. I used to have a box full of my old PS1 games but they unfortunately were lost some where's along the way, really wished I still had them, I have a PS2 and both of my PS1 memory cards with all the save games. Watching your videos really makes me want to play them.

Crash Tag Team Racing fir the PS2 was the first crash game I played, and then I played the others. I must say Crash Bandicoot is my childhood and it's a shame we aren't getting any new Crash Bandicoot games. I guess after Crash of the Titans they just gave up and didn't want to work with the franchise anymore. I enjoyed Crash of the Titans, but it wasn't as good as the other crash games.
They *did* make Mind Over Mutant a year after Titans, but at that point it seems like Sony just gave up and tried to parody other types of media. It's a case of scarificing style for substance and hoping it will work.

Anyone else complete it as much as it could be complete? All CTR tokens, Platinum relics on every track, beat Oxide on time trial on every track, etc!
El Xando My dad and I would always play PS1 games side-by-side on separate files so we both did everything except the Oxide trials. That fucker is insane. Probably my third favorite game of all time.

The best part about all of this is that CTR was meant to kill the entire franchise. 25 years later, I'd say that plan backfired massively.
Thank you, I asked you awhile back to do this. Great video. This is actually one of my favorite games of all time, the game that got me into gaming surprisingly. It's actually funny cause I didn't know Crash Bandicoot was a plateformer as the only thing I ever saw Crash do was race and that was CTR and CNK. So when I bought Wrath of Cortex my mind was blown. Great video once again, we should race sometime (if they ever made online play...)

I don't really like it, but then again I did wplay cc rash of the Titans, the kart one I did enjoy, and I may try the original 3 someday
The only Crash games I've played are Crash Bandicoot Warped and Crash of the Titans, I enjoyed the both!
