Thank you so much for your video! Power cleaning took care of my issue. I found another video on how to do that. Go to the power clean screen, then turn off the printer. Next, hold the help button and power button when turning the printer back on. It then allows you to perform the power clean cycle. I let mine sit overnight before performing a nozzle check. It wasn't perfect, but my missing colors were back. After printing a couple of pages, everything looks great!

WOW!! Thanks alot! I have an Epson ET-4700. This process worked for my printer as well. I had an order of 36 custom mugs from my mug store. In the middle of the prints I noticed my color as fading HORRIBLY. I've done hundreds of prints without this happening. Your video helped. I cleaned the heads 7 times, performing a nozzle check after each clean. Finally my color was restored. Thanks again!!!
OMG! OMG! OMG! I had to do the printer head clean 6 times, a power clean once, then a print head alignment. It worked and I am super excited. I hadn't used my printer for the last three months since the passing of my daughter and father. I just did it while watching your video. I was very frustrated that my printer was not printing properly. Thank you so very much for this information. I really needed this.

Hi! I came here because like most people, the printing had degraded poorly even though I knew I had ink in my tank. Before trying the distilled water tip for the print head, PLEASE try (if your printer has this option) going to the printing preferences of your printer. There is a maintenance tab with an option of power cleaning (only use this if you are sure you have a decent amount of ink in your printer). It gives two check box options, one to verify levels and the other about only running it again after 12 hours. This saved my butt so hard. Also fyi the power cleaning is also in the options of the physical printer as well. Hope this helps.
Thank you for this video! I had lost all color except yellow to my Epson 4700. After watching your video, I cleaned my print nozzles 13 times and it worked! All my colors returned. So thank you very much for your help. 😊

I just want to say "thank you" for posting this information. My Epson 2720 was not printing any color at all but after cleaning the print head several times and then using the damp paper towel on the print head and then re-cleaning the print heads I was able to get the color to print again.
WOW THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS VIDEO HELPED A LOT!!! I was struggling for a while!! and called tech support and it didn't help. I have the EPSON ET 2803 and it worked just doing the printhead alignment setting!! Thanks again my friend!
About air in the lines. The cure is simply to tilt the printer say 60-80 degree in all directions one after the other. This will do it. Make sure that you have closed all containers. I have a 2750, it works very well.
Thanks so much! The damp paper towel method totally solved my clogged head. Soaking it worked! My magenta was printing at all so I set the damp napkin under the print head for about 2 hours and it started printing magenta again. Thanks so much!
Thank you for being so thorough! SO glad you showed what it should look like with sub ink print test. At first my cyan and yellow weren't showing, but after a cleaning, both appeared. The yellow was still extremely light after 2 cleanings. But when I looked and saw yours was really light too so I tried printing something in word with blue letters highlighted with yellow and it printed exactly as sub ink should!!!! THANK YOU, God Bless :-)
Thank you for this video. I have an epson2720. You can access the print head by removing the 4 screws on from of the printer. Then you can lift up the top of the printer and access the print head. Thank you so much!! I have epson 2760, followed all your steps, was about to give up (super frustrating with projects due!!) I decided to try your last resort tip and print a copy of magenta, cyan, & yellow layered to give me a copy of all 3 colors on 1 page (construction paper I had on hand), after the 2nd copy print it was showing some progress some spots, made 2 more copies and then decided to run the nozzle check/head cleaning must have done that at least 7-10x & finally all colors came back perfect!

I refilled the ink tanks on my epson using original epson ink and right after refilling it everything was coming out green. I ran the ink report and was indeed missing the magenta as well. I had done all you said on the video except printing a picture in only magenta. That was what did it for me! Thank you so much. I printed half a page of a block of magenta and everything was back to normal.
It worked for epson expression 970, I did the alignment wrong, and the pictures were coming out blury with smudge marks, after doing the alignment correctly, it fixed the problems thank you
WOW!! Thanks alot! I have an Epson ET-2720. This process worked great had to run the process about 15 times back to work !!!! thank you so much for this video
Thank you so much for this video. I was doing nozzle check, head cleaning, purge files and got nothing. Completely blank. I did the distill water and that helped. My ink started to flow and after a nozzle check followed by head cleaning all my colors came back. My printer is a l3250 😊
Since my 2720 is old I went ahead and power cleaned, however before I did that I updated my printer. After both of those my printer is back to working. At first it wouldn't print hardly at all, then after a few nozzle checks and head cleans it would print in black but refused to print in any color at all. I assumed it was clogged because my ink is full. Now it's working again, the purge file came out great as well.
Qustion - what if I did all this and they printer is tell me I have lots of ink but nothing is coming out. I've only had my printer for almost a year (ET-2720) and I use sublimation ink it. It's worked fine in the past but this time it's printing nothing or just little markers. What else can I do?
I was having this problem and found that you have to run multiple head cleanings to resolve the problem. It took 3 for me and then all of the colors came back. So don't be afraid to do a few. Good luck.
There are two screws that allow you to open the printer so you can access the inside easier. I’ve tried to resurrect a printer just like yours, but even trying to clean the print heads doesn’t get my cyan back. 😢. I couldn’t find your description of good vs bad inks anywhere.
Thanks! I had to clean my print heads about 6 times before this was fixed for me. This was great info and I have the Epson 2760 with regular ink and the Epson 4700 with sublimation ink....both had this issue!
Thank you so much for the detailed steps! Crafty, I have the 2760 and I’m struggling with all the color in mine only the black works. None of the hacks are working so I might do the power clean 🥺 any advice?? 🤗
YAY!!!! oh my goodness THANK YOU!!! you saved me from throwing my printer across the room!! I have the ET-2720 and this worked perfectly! I did have to do it 5 times but after that my magenta is on point!
So, I have the horizontal lines that are equal, like you spoke about at :43. I'm not printing by WiFi or draft mode. Any suggestions? I've done all the cleaning, took the air out of the lines and aligned the print heads. Nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks for the helpful video! Just so you know, printing over WiFi should not cause any quality issues. Modern printers today (Anything within the last 5 years) are guaranteed to support buffering of pages and checksum validation. Basically this means that the printer will download the entire page before it even attempts to print it. This is why your printer can take longer to print high quality pictures, because it must download the entire document from your device, communicate with the device to validate that the document received is identical to the one sent, and then process the image in a way that the printer can equate to its physical actions. The printer will either receive a full file, or retry until it receives the full file, and print, or will never print. Those are the only two options with basically any modern SOHO network enabled printer.
Thank you for your video unfortunately didn't fix my problem I did all this but the page came blank , the second page Had a very faint colors, and my printer is Epson ecotank1500 I have a warning sign that my maintenance cartridge is almost full, I have a new one waiting to my printer tell me is time for a change, but I don't know if that is the problem. I don't know if you can recommend something 🙏 please
THANK YOU so much for sharing. I was having the same problem and followed your steps and it is working perfectly. Also, I didn’t think about the fact that I need to print at least once a day to prevent the printer heads from clogging. I also think my ink is not the best so I’m interested in trying the one that you recommended. I subscribed To your Chanel and again thank you.
Great help…I am getting nothing when I print…using Printers Jack sublimation…I’m trying everything…I made a cup a couple weeks ago and today I’m just stuck…
I wish this video had helped me. It seems thorough enough I can't imagine what else is causing my print problem. I have a 2720 also. It's only printing black and yellow. No magenta or cyan. I have refilled the ink and I'm using Epson's ink so I would think the ink quality wouldn't be an issue.
@@carriebroughton3453 yes so I cleaned the heads about 5 times and then did a print alignment and it’s all good, I was talking with another crafter and she said to do this once a month and I should be fine.
i just bought an epson 2720 and converted it to sublimation and i want to know if when not in use can i turn it off or do i need to leave it on at all times so the ink doesnt dry up . ive seen mixed answers on this
I got my clog issue fixed but now have blobs of ink around the edges of the printed page. is that caused by a paper feed issue? not sure how to correct it. I have the WF7720. I fed a 6x6 sheet thru the back paper slot. wish I could send a photo to show you.
OEM magenta ink ET-2760, just decided to clog one day in between steady use of the printer. Currently, troubleshooting but I cannot think of a reason for the clog unless my printer decided to evolve platelets all of a sudden
I have a brand new epson et2760 and filled tanks with Hiipoo sub ink and went through the setup process for the printer and my printer is going through the "printing process" but it is shooting out blank sheets of paper. It does not appear that any color is running through the lines yet.....what could be my problem?? Could I have a clog somewhere else?
Hi!! Mine is not properly feeding the paper of my epson 2803 sublimation printer. It will get a little crooked or most the time the corners are being folded up when it tries to feed through, what should I do??
Thank you for the video! I'm about to throw mine out the window. I have cleaned the print heads many times, the ink is full and I can barely even see the printing of the diagnostic image... It worked fine and then I didn't use it for a couple of months... Any ideas? Epson 3760... I have orders to fill !!!
I just opened my Epson printer today and I'm using Hippoo ink. I've printed 5 test pages and everytime my yellow had missing segments. Sometimes my magenta was perfect and sometimes it had segments but yellow was always an issue. I'm not sure what to do at this point as I've done the alignment. I haven't done a deep clean since it's a brand new printer but I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?
If you Leave your printer on at all times the ink won’t dry. Inkjet printers run print head tests while the printer isn’t in use, to keep the print heads from drying up.
I have an epson 2720 converted to sublimation. After converting it, it is only printing blank paper. I have done the cleaning process more than five times and still blank papers . Any way you can help me out with this. Will much appreciate it. Thank you
I have the et2800 and my ink pad need to be replaces yet I only printed about 250 sheets. The problem appeared after not using the printer for about 2-3 weeks. When I printed there were vertical lines on my pictures even after I went through about 3-4 nozzle check, clean heads the entire maintenance steps. After 3 days lines still present then end of ink pads life came up..please advise and help me. Ordered new ink pad and waiting fir the arrival.
I have the ET-2760 and I always have problems getting sublimation paper to print at all. It keeps telling me there's no paper, or a paper jam. It might take me 50 or so tries before it successfully prints. I've searched for hours and can't find a solution for this problem. It prints regular paper with no problems at all.
I bought mine new with the ink that came with it and hardly used it and today I wanted to make a copy and got nothing but I got playing around and found the clean heads and did that and it worked again but still the yellow isn't working and all tanks are still full, should I try the power cleaning and the alignment checks
I use my ET 3710 for sublimation as well. How do you get it to print so vivid with the sublimation ink. I must be using the wrong settings, as my prints are not that deep in color. I always thought that was just because the sublimation ink was different than regular ink. Can you show me the right settings to use to get the same deep prints you get?
I have an Epson 2803 Eco tank sublimation printer. I drained the ink so I could replace with regular ink, which I have done . I have ran the maintenance on all it is not printing at all, just blank. What can I do...
Oh thanks so much for this video, I was worried about wether or not, I was going to have problems with my ET-2720, I set it up and used it a couple of times and then was discouraged because I was doing the sublimation wrong, but I just did a few of the things you recommended and I did fix a couple of things and but one thing I didn’t have to worry about was the ink, no clogs what so ever!! I am using Printers Jack ink. It must be pretty good, because if I had to guess, I have printed anything since February and it’s almost June!!
Hey I need some help. I've done a conversion from ink tomsub a d not having any luck at all. An all lights flashing scanario. Everything is clean nothing is off. Ink is definitely getting into the lines with no clogs. I need some help. I have et 2710.
Having the same problem. Using Epsom OEM ink. Deep cleaned print heads three Xs. Printed solid page of cyan 10 Xs. Paper comes out white. Still will not print in cyan. I'm awating a print head cleaning kit from Amazon and will try cleaning print head tomorrow. Printer is 13 months old.
I have a brand new epson et 15000 that I just converted and I noticed when I print a larger image from the tray my print come out with so much ink that it looks like the printer is scratching the ink as it prints but when I print regular 8.5x 11 my prints come out normal . What do you think is wrong when I print using the 13x19 ?
My cyan isnt working no matter what i do. Im the process of the damp paper towel. I also used a syringe to suction the tube and ink case itself. What should i do?
Just bought a brand new Epson 2803 printer. Used Printers Jack 400ml Sublimation. Instant clogged, broken lines in the black and red color. Already tried cleaning the print heads multiple times. Is Printers Jack, one of the less desirable sublmation inks to use? Thanks.
I’m having problems with my Epson SureColor F170. It’s only printing black. This is an actual sublimation printer. Do I do the same steps as you provided in this video even if my printer is an original sublimation printer and not a converted to sublimation printer? I rarely print and didn’t know that I should be printing often. Help!!!
I have ET-2800 printer and have put in Hiipoo subulation ink and the printer will not print. I have done cleanings. I can't even get a nozzle check print. All blank pages. The printer is brand new. Please any advice from you would be greatly appreciated.
Does the sublimation ink cause the ink tubes to be those colors and not white? My printer is a Eco 2400 ecotank and it continues to get a printer jam and ink issues. I use it all the time.
I tried nozzle checks & head cleaning & still the same problem. When I did nozzle check the magenta didn’t show up. I’ve also printed at least a dozen full page of magenta color, but still nothing. I tried the paper towel suggestion, still no magenta. I’ve hesitated doing the power clean, since it uses a lot of ink & fill up the tank. I open the top & checked the print heads & it looks like there is very little ink getting there compared to the others.
My printer the epson 2720 in the beginning I had no issues. Now every time I get on it. And I am going daily. I get a color that won’t print. I finally get it printing. Then next day I have another color. My 2 colors so far is black or cyan. I’m using it daily so it won’t clog. Example today all colors were working then all of a sudden cyan stopped. Can ink cartridges have issues through out printing. I know it can’t be clogged. This is frustrating. Thanks for any tips or suggestions

There are two screws that allow you to open the printer so you can access the inside easier. I’ve tried to resurrect a printer just like yours, but even trying to clean the print heads doesn’t get my cyan back. 😢. I couldn’t find your description of good vs bad inks anywhere.
Mahalo! Ink is not available here on island. Replacing my printer would be 2-5 day shipping at best. You saved my project!
I had to do multiple print head cleanings before it cleared up works perfect now
Thank you...Power Cleaning then Nozzle ✔️ then Alignment
I am having the same issues as you are describing. i am aboout to try your instructions. i will let you know if it is successful ty for the video..
Mine is doing the same thing and I’ve got a hoodie job due tomorrow.
What ended up happening? My cyan and magenta are also not printing
@@keelseeyy100 also having this issue. Any advice?
@@melissahedges9062 Did you figure it out? Also having this problem
@@carriebroughton3453 yes so I cleaned the heads about 5 times and then did a print alignment and it’s all good, I was talking with another crafter and she said to do this once a month and I should be fine.
thank a lot for this video. You fixed my problem 2:42 into the video. I 'm very happy!
i just bought an epson 2720 and converted it to sublimation and i want to know if when not in use can i turn it off or do i need to leave it on at all times so the ink doesnt dry up . ive seen mixed answers on this
Thank you, I did this several times and got it to work!
I have a 2720
Thank you!!!!!! Aligning the heads really works. THANK YOU!!!
I got my clog issue fixed but now have blobs of ink around the edges of the printed page. is that caused by a paper feed issue? not sure how to correct it. I have the WF7720. I fed a 6x6 sheet thru the back paper slot. wish I could send a photo to show you.
it worked, thanks, I cleaned them first physically and then did what you said n it worked
I have a Question I have the eco 2720 epson printer I have run all of this and there is no ink coming through the lines to the printhead
Did all that you suggested but still pink hue to prints. Note printing thru wifi, and high quality paper. Darn. Thank you.
Thank you... I was able to fix my printer with this video...
Wish I knew this.... mine was off a few months.... was so, so busy with work and school. now I can't get it cleaned. 😢
This is not always true. I never cut mine off yet I’m here because my cyan isn’t printing at all
Mine is always on and my yellow isn't printing at all. Been working on it for 2 hours and tried many different things suggested online.
I have an epson 2720 converted to sublimation. After converting it, it is only printing blank paper. I have done the cleaning process more than five times and still blank papers . Any way you can help me out with this. Will much appreciate it.
Thank you
Did you ever figure it out? Having the same issue
Thank you so much for this video!! followed the steps you showed and my printer is working again
thank you so much for your help I've been trying to deal with this all day, but this video literally helped me out.
Hello I don’t know if you know but my printer prints like doble in one sheet the same image over lapping and blurry I was wondering how can I fix that
Hey I need some help.
Help!!!
I need help! I also have a ET 2720 a d only the black prints. All of the other colors are printing with lines.
Thank you for this video🎉
Can you cross 2 types of ink?
I have ET-2800 printer and have put in Hiipoo subulation ink and the printer will not print. I have done cleanings. I can't even get a nozzle check print. All blank pages. The printer is brand new. Please any advice from you would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for the video , one question. For the paper towel you turn off the printer?
All of my rectangles are separated when I do the horizontal alignment…there is no option to choose I’m not sure what to do after that
My printer the epson 2720 in the beginning I had no issues.
So the horizontal print head alignment every box shows them separated I’m not sure what to do it made it worse
hello I have a question my printer will not refill black ink the ink does not fill just sits at the top I've been told it's probably full but you can see it's almost empty have you delt with this I do not want to continue printing as the black ink is really low
HELP!! I figured that the tubing was clogged on my Epson so after watching a youtube video suggesting to use a cleaning kit. So, I purchased the printhead cleaning kit. Seemed easy to do, but now my Epson Et-3760 says to replace maintenance box before running power cleaning. What?! Is that something else I'd have to purchase? Oh, and the printer does still have sublimation ink in it.
Can you tell me why my green is printing out blue. Epson Eco tank workforce st2000 which I converted to sublimation. The color prints fine on my regular ink jet
had to clean the nozzle twice but it worked thanks!!!
Hi can I ask we bought the et2711 pre owned we reset the Wi-Fi connected via WPS we need to print the Wi-Fi password page but it’s going through the motions yet there’s no ink except a tiny little tinted line of blue
