I've been using Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy (KTVA) for two and a half years now and I just keep getting better and better! I only use KTVA once or twice, sometimes 3 times, a week and I've easily made the most gains of anyone in my band, and my voice and range have grown TREMENDOUSLY! I've even noticed my regular speaking voice has a brighter timbre to it now. Thanks man, for putting all your knowledge out there in an easy to follow, easy to understand format. I LOVE it!
Ken Tamplin, honestly this is far and above the best Chris Cornell cover you have taken on. I’ve always loved this song a lot, obviously no one will duplicate the beauty of his art but this cover brings back to me just how complex and unique he was! And it also reminds me of how we all assumed he would always be here and took for granted the many blessings he already left us. I could go on for days what he has meant to me and continues to surprise and amaze me with subtleties I’ve overlooked thousands of times. Sigh 😞, I still am saddened by his passing and had a really hard time getting through how I felt - almost as bad as when Ronnie James Dio passed. Keep rocking Ken🤘

That's just where I like it. I've done a ton of recording. Set up high, low, off to the side. A little bit high keeps it out of the proximity pop zone, yet close enough for good tone.

It depends on what scales you are doing, and what method you are using to sing the scales. If you're singing my scales and using the methods that I teach, then you are doing the scales for a purpose, and they will help you a lot. All scales and all methods are not created equal. Singing songs is the goal, but learning principles by using scales is the way to become a more effective singer.

hey Ken, quick question about Chris (RIP). When he sang his high notes was he bringing up his chest voice to blend? He always had such a great tone in his upper register without sounding like a r&b artist or something. So hard to replicate! FYI i'm still on vol 2 of your course. Can't image how hard vol 3 is lol

Chris took his chest voice up very high. He could mix it, but he didn't have to. He could sing pure belting chest up as high as he ever needed to.
