I have bought a pair in London early June 2018. Yesterday I've left them out of the case for the first time (retrospectively, I've used them exclusively out of home, so I had a routine that made me put them back in the case every single time...) and the earbuds died. I've put them back in the case to recharge, but the orange led keeps flashing and the pair never turned on again. If you are thinking to buy them, maybe think a bit slower and take ALL the time you need.
@@ljptech I know , that the later versions are great , but they cost 2-3 times more and considering that I already own p2 and h9i I think that for 90 euros on amazon.de these earphones could be a great deal.
I’m thinking of purchasing a pair. I know there’s a 2.0 but from what I’ve heard they sound the same just charging for the case. Have you had connections problems while listening to music ?

Do you think the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay E8 2.0 are worth the price in comparison to the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay E8. Here in the Netherlands the 2.0 are 350 euro's and the normal ones are 180 euro's. What do you think.
If you definitely need that extra two hours of battery life go get it but if I were you I will always go for cheaper option. I personally didn't feel like my E8 'lacks battery life' even when I travel abroad but then again depends on your lifestyle
No I didn't tried out the 2.0 but asked the dealer recently, been told it is literally the battery life expanded extra 2 hours plus different design. The earbud itself I have been told is exactly the same.

Sorry, I guess I am not in a stage of owning more than what I can afford. Though I think H5 looks very tempting for me. I own a Jaybird Bluebud X but B&O E8 is much better. Hope this kinda help in someway
@@ljptech okay so what are your feelings about a bass level in your E8? I've tried H5 and it wasn't work for me well. The sound produced by H5 headset was close to monitors in recording studio - a lot of high notes, enough treble but lack of bass. I'm affraid, that E8 are close to this characteristics. E8 are simply to expensive to just take a risk of being unhappy with it.
I am very happy with the bass, plus you can adjust it on the B&O app. I bought E8 because I consider it to be the most discreet with the highest sound quality. Hope this helps
The 2 LEDs at back of case tell you how many spare charges you have left ( the earphones and be charged 3 times on one case charge, 1 in earphones already a 2 charges from case)
I have a question. Is it possible to listen to both Left and Right channels of music in a single E8 earphone? This is something that works on my AirPods provided I leave the AirPod not being used in the charging case and the case is in Bluetooth range of my iPhone. I’d certainly be interested in the E8s if this feature is available. Any advice would be appreciated.
Left earbuds needs to be within 1 meter to make a sound otherwise the sound will get shut. Right earbuds is on all the time. It seems the right earbud is the prime and left as secondary. Hope this helps

There are times when it suits me use a single earphone but still wanting to hear all of the music and not just half of it. As I said in question this is possible using Apple AirPods.
Sorry if question is not clear. Before stereo all recordings were single channel mono. When stereo came along recordings were split into Left and Right channels. This means that each each earbud receives half of the musical soundstage. That means that both earphones are needed for the complete sound picture. When (for example) only the left earphone is used music recorded by the right hand microphone will not be heard. When using Apple Airpods left and right recordings can be be combined into a single recording provided the earbud not being listened to is left inside the charging case and the case is within Bluetooth range of the iPhone. What I’m trying to find out is whether this same facility is provided by th the E8s.
Ah, I think I get want you are on about, my honest answer is maybe not combined in one stereo. But please double check with B&O before final decision. Sorry to not be much helpful

My lovely wife bought me a pair for Christmas and I've been using them almost constantly as they're a brilliant bit of kit, so was very interested to see what the performance at 1 year was like. The original app I had no longer works and I was instructed to download a different app then I was told to update the software which I did now I’m left with a nice case with a pair of nice in ear pods that do absolutely nothing.Have been looking on line for what the problem might be,as they worked perfectly well on the previous app which is no longer available..They don’t work on my iPad Pro or my iPhone or computer.A total waist of money..What is going on? The app your using is no longer available.It’s the one I originally had and they were fine.
You are right! I just found out about this thanks to you, I downloaded the new B&O App and cannot recognise my E8. Still I managed to disconnect and reconnect to my phone device via manual Bluetooth settings. Hope this helps
I regret buying this. The left ear one stops working when battery is below 60% .. I believe it’s not getting charger fully.. right one is fine though.. I had purchased at a exorbitant price around £270.. it’s definitely not worth more than £100..
Yeah I have the same problem. I’m glad I got them at a 50% discount. 300 bucks would’ve been way too much. Still I regret it since the AirPods pro look so much better. And they seem to sound and fit better as well, but I don’t want to spend another 250 € on headphonéś when I already have an expensive pair

Do you have any comparison of sound with beoplay H5? I'm just curious if B&O E8 give a better feel on bass comparing to H5
