Currently I am torn mainly because I use my earbuds for media consumption through my iPad and phone. How is the latency for video watching? Is it a deal breaker?
Had these for about a month now. They are absolutely amazing and worth every penny. Sound quality with the app eq and Comply eartips really bring out every bit of performance in them. My only gripe (minor one) is that the bluetooth connection occasionally drops out with my iPhone between uses. Hopefully a firmware upgrade will be released in the future to address this issue. Overall solid buy; the best truly wireless earbuds out right now.
Just ordered these as Ive heard that the SQ is very good. They also have ambient mode which I’m lacking on the M&D MW07 and the RHA TruConnect. Looking forward to playing with them and checking out the SQ for myself. Very comprehensive overview 👍🏼
I really like the SQ on these, the Sennheiser wireless buds sound great until you try these and realise the Sennheiser has over extended the bass which then muffles the midrange and treble
Tech Zilla So far these kick the Sennheiser and M&W MW07s in SQ. I’ve compared them to wired and BT cable connected IEMs from Shure, BGVP, Tin Audio, LH Labs and Moondrop. The B&Os come within 80% of them, which is pretty damn good in my opinion. Two 👍🏼
I am using version one, overall it is great and I like it. the only complaint I have is about the call quality, it caches a lot of background noise therefore when you are in a loud place then it is very hard for the other person to hear you. I also found that base is a little weak as compared to beats. In terms of positives, build quality superb, treble and mid are very clear and very crisp sound, perfect for music listening. love the touch controls which makes these very easy to use.
I have these & the Sennheiser Momentum These R absolutely Awesome but I still believe the Sennheiser Momentum Sound Quality is Superior But Overall these B & O R Beta especially it’s better Intuitive Sound Control
Just got myself a bargain a pair of E8 2.0 checked serial number with B&O and are 100% genuine very happy with them. I have 0 latency when watching video with them on my galaxy s10 and they sound so so sooooo much better than the galaxy buds not that the galaxy buds are bad at all
I'm going with the B&O E8 1.0 because I dig that charcoal sand color. It's interesting they didn't carry that over to the 2.0 despite how popular it was.

I can say don't buy the sennheiser yet they have a serious design flaw and drain battery when not being used and they drain the charging case. It's a known flaw Google it or check reddit. I have the same problem and the right ear piece drains much quicker than the left.
No problem, whatever you do don't buy the sennheiser momentum true wireless buds they have a serious battery drain issue. The B&O on the other hand work great
Great review. A tip I picked up (not sure if you are aware of this is). A way around it is to watch TH-cam through the web browser. You will find then, there isn’t any audio lag. For example. I have the iPhone and Bose Soundsport Free (totally wireless earphones) and when I use the TH-cam app I get audio lag. When I use Safari (the web browser I use) there is no audio lag whatsoever. Just thought I would share this tip.
I also have the Beoplay E8 2.0 and I noticed a few things. It mostly affects classical music and piano. It affects only the right earphone of it. I would ask you to try that too. for example: Game of Thrones Soundtrack Season 6: "Light of the Seven For the first few seconds, the right earphone roars. not always but often it creaks in the Michael Jackson song "Superfly Sister" only in the first 10 seconds. Also many songs of Adele are iredwie rauschend represented ... again only the right earphones. My player is an iPhone X and the source is Apple Music.
I recently purchased the new Samsung Galaxy Buds....wireless charging, USB Type C, great fit and will not fall out even while riding motorcycle...I did unfortunately return them because they were horrible outdoors, regarding the "cut out or loss of connection from phone". I will be receiving my B&O e8 set tomorrow but am concerned about outdoor use while my phone is in my pocket; please let me know your experience with this! Thanks in advance!
Tbh Honest I haven’t had any cut out issues with the B&O earphones but I also didn’t have any issues with the Samsung buds, did you update the software on the Galaxy buds?

I’m torn between these, Powerbeats pro and maybe even the Sennheiser MTW ! Mainly will use for the gym,, for videos/youtube/netflix/calls I’ll mainly be using the airpods.. which one should i get ? 🤔
For the gym the beats are definitely the best, since you are using airpods you obviously have an iPhone so the beats will pair nicely. The sennheiser have the best bass and the b&o the best overall balanced sound. The latter 2 I wouldn't use for the gym, the b&o also have a slight delay syncing voices with the lip movement.
I am looking for wireless earbuds for watching video’s when travelling by plane to replace my wired Bose noise cancelling earbuds. I want a compact solution again and decent isolation from noise or noise cancelling but the latency on these is putting me off from buying them. Which earbuds don’t have that issue? Or is that unavoidable because of bluetooth?

They have a better sub bass and better treble, the sound is overall more rounded with more detail. The sennheiser has a very thick warm sound that drowns the other frequencies the sennheiser has less sound isolation and a massive battery drainage issue which everyone has who owns them. DO NOT BUY the Sennheiser ones as you will regret it.

I would go for the sennheiser MTW. Firstly the B&o are Bluetooth 4.2! Sennheisers have the new Bluetooth 5.0. So B&o are newly released and already behind! But biggest thing for me is when listening to you tube or sat a film on Netflix I belive with the B&o there is a latency lagg. Basically a delay in what you see and what you hear. Sennheiser have absolutely no delay. I use my sennheiser for both work outs and watching films from the phone. So I need all-rounder without sound compromised.
Tech Zilla I would say slightly warmer sound, but these both have EQ right. I tend to listen to lots of classical music, either piano or large orchestra. I know that mtw has slightly bigger driver, therefore I assume the sound stage on MTW is slightly better?

I had the Sennheiser’s, Master & Dynamics and of course the Apple air Pods.. I just bought the E8 first edition and they sound great.. Latency isn’t the best but I can live.. can you compare the E8’s to the E8 2.0? E8 were on sale for $197.00 I had to grab them.
Anthony Lopez once you EQ/customize them to your liking yes. Some say you have to burn in. Which means play them for about an hour on a moderate volume. Don’t get me wrong the Sennheiser’s sound great but did not get loud enough in the gym for me.
@Grand Imperius E8 has a cleaner bass. Momentum is a louder muddier bass. Not bad they sound great. But if you listen to the two you'll hear the difference.
Was thinking about getting the first E8 ones, but these seem to look a little more refined Zilla back with a bang. Great video Even with the emergency sirens going passed 😁

I absolutley like these buds but my one complain is the phone call experience. For the person on the other end, they hear every sound around you. For you, it sounds muffled.
Master and Dynamic MW07 are still better in my opinion. The sound quality is superior, the physical buttons make adjustments easier, offers higher quality audio with less video delay.
Buds come February 14 he got them earlier and he purchased with his money, so let me put 2 and 2 together :-) he has access to New Gadgets before anybody else, hmmmm to me something wrong here either BEO PLAY pay him for this video or he got the Buds for free to review them OR he is really something special :-))))

Arthur Sharp The right earbud is the master and work no problem by itself. The left earbud cannot be used at all without the right one.

Hey, i got the E8 1.0 do the 2.0 auto connect when you open the case or do you have to connect them manually?
I connect them manually but it’s because I have them set up on different devices
but if i want to use them on one device do they auto connect? because the old version i have to go in Bluetooth settings and connect them like that.
