Owning both, Bose sounds better out the box, but E8s tops that depending on your equalizer settings. But as of now, I think most people buy true wireless for convenience and style > sound quality. But things I've noticed owning the the Bose first, E8 two months ago : Bose lags on almost every video platform on iOS, problem becomes almost nonexistent on E8 (iOS 12.1) . Bose really are massive, and causes stress to my ears over prolonged use, E8 a lot less so. Bose SSF wind shear on cycling, hiking, motorsports will deafen you, it's so bad because they're ginormous. Bose has audio cues of battery life, usage, connectivity while E8 has almost no auditory feedback on functions. Bose's case, although bulky shows battery life while E8 case only shows battery life on charge. Bose sound app requires you to register early to find your buds if you lose them, while E8 doesn't even offer that. It's a mixed bag, but personally I prefer E8 over Bose. Just feeling more comfortable and having things play normally the way they're supposed to on a day to day basis is much more important to me.
Paul Sauve 65ts are def one of the better ones out there. As far as form factor they’re rather well built and more ergonomic than Bose. Sound quality leans towards a punchy bass with a smaller soundstage compared to Bose or e8. If you’re the at the gym more than 3 times a week and out in the sun during weekends I’d say the 65ts are worth copping. But if you’d want to enjoy better sound and is more laid back I’d say e8 > Bose > Jabra.
Fred Poon Thanks for this, I've been pondering the two for a few days now it's been stressing me out lol. I'm going to go with the E8s, just about anything will be better than a single left airpod that randomly dies at 60-70% battery
Can you please send me the picture of the case so the charging pins that connect are visible? And also your serial number to my email gurgen92@yahoo.com. I'll be veery very thankful
this is the best ever earbuds test and comparison i have seen. thaks guy i followed you up . i was stuck between two these but i wont go for any :) i wish BOSE driver placed into B&O earbuds :) then it'd be perfect..i really liked so much your video and appreciated such detailed test. thanks keep it good up guys.
I love this review than others just talking about it and do nothing but filming them self. Can you guys do a comparison on Sennheiser and B&O wireless earbuds? Second question is, during the test does it wear down equally on batter life, evenly? I see some reviews that shows or let’s the others know that ear buds don’t use up the batter life evenly. But other than that this is really nice review!
Thanks for the video, you guys have the best comparison, tests and honest opinions. I have The E8's and they are pretty bad ass and I am an audiophile type of listener...... The B&O sound better than the Bose specially after 40 hours of listening, the drivers need hours until they are broken in.
I cant complain anything about sound quality of B&W PX, but i dont recommend you to buy it if your head is big. It will hurt you if you are going to use it for long time.
If you are a long distance runner, don't purchase the Bose Soundsport earphones. After I run 1-3 miles, the bluetooth connection cuts off and does not want to reconnect. At first, I thought I did not charge the earphones long enough; the next time I ran with 100% battery, the same problem occurred. I had to exchange my Bose to the Beoplay E8 and now I am completely satisfied with them. I have not ran with them yet but I hope they do not have the same problem as the Bose.
or (as far as noise isolation goes) get the jabra elite 65t and turn on the hear through feature to have the same level of outside noise as the bose but the sound isolation of the e8 (or better) when you want.
Just bought bose ssf. Tried both ssf and e8. Bose defenitely clearer sound. Bass and treble is cleaner than e8. But comfort wise and for the look my take is e8 for sure. But SSF not bad either. I bought for the sound anyway. Oh..just remember..with bose ssf, sometimes left channel blutooth connection is drop and reconnected instantly. Dunno why. Its a bit annoying. The problem is global. Pls google it to get more info before u buy it. For me, i can live with it. So its okay.
To my ears the E8 sounded better in your test. The Bose was missing all treble. Also, it would have been helpful when discussing sound isolation that E8 has passthrough audio, which is really the best of both worlds. I don't own either, hope the feedback helps. 🙂
I tried Bose and its sound quality is the best by far. However the latency, lack of noise cancelling, and having no stereo sound during phone conversation are stopping me from buying. So I decided to wait for the next generation Bose true wireless headphone.
You’re kidding right? I’ve had BeatsX and returned them after one day because to my ears it was an obvious V shape equaliser. The bass was overkill and muddy while the trebles were shrill, literally hurting my eardrums. I’ve had E8 for a year now, and with Comply foam tips these are practically the best headphones you can have. (Truly Wireless, super compact, decent noise isolation, above average sound).
Hey guys! This is the first of your videos that I am watching and it was fantastic! I have a couple of questions regarding the B&O E8's that may be a little too lengthy for a TH-cam comment. What's the best way to reach you? Either that or we can chat here in case anyone else has similar questions or can possibly learn something from our exchange. Thanks and keep up the good work!
@@MPD90 10:55. "Bose have the best sound and are more confortable". I guess this is enough as a confirmation. The only thing better is the sound isolation. If I want noise isolation/cancelation I will use my Bose QC35.

Hello boys I search for new in-ears with the best sound (prefers bass) and highest technical innovation. I found your channel and the tests are absolutly the best but I miss the Bragi Dash Pro. I look for an in-ear from 100 to 400 bucks.
The e8s are better sounding when they have the comply foam tips on. I like the Bose as well, tbh both have a good clarity of sound but the e8s win because they’re less bulky, have touch sensor controls, and sound out of both units on phone calls, I find the Bose a bit annoying with mono sound on calls.
Come on I know people like to hate on Bose but honestly Bose has better sound (at least to me anyway). But yeah mono microphone for phonecall is bullshit on Bose. Also worthless if you lose any of the Earbuds.
I don’t like Bose headphones or earbuds based on its sound yet the b&o e8 is fantastic I’ve enjoyed my pair for the last 8 months. Best purchase I’ve made, I also have B&O H4 also and they still sound better that Bose. I listen to my music using Tidal on my iPhone. Also that guy with the sound chart is wrong because they may sound great in a lab but my ears are the only lab I use and my ears say E8 are great

Just a note, the E8's need a burn in period before they sound like they should. They also need a decent audio system, phone wise, only the new Samsung S9 and LG V30(s) were the only ones I've found to be decent enough to power the E8's. Where they sound the best though, is on my Alienware R3 15" i7 7820K, 32GB, Nvidia1080. The sound that comes out of the E8'S when connected to this Alienware beast, is magical, probably the best I have ever heard from any bluetooth Earbuds.
