Great explanation and detail on the installation. Which water sensors would you recommend are compatible to operate the valve in the event of a burst pipe. ( I do have a Samsung smartthings hub ) My home recently suffered a flood and now I'm researching valves so I never have to go thru this misery again. Thank you.
Thanks for the note. We recently tested and like the ThirdReality Zigbee Leak Sensors. They can be set for local automation. See: th-cam.com/video/K4SYtzH-1GE/w-d-xo.html But most any Z-Wave or Zigbee Leak Sensor that is compatible with SmartThings is a good starting point.
Why they only showing the lever type shutoff valves like the entire world only uses those lever types, Only!!!!???? My valve sticks out on both sides and not just a lever type.
