Nice video bro. I have couple questions: 1. What type of muffler/slip-on that bike have? 2. Did you recommend the Sp that you have in your bike or there is something that you would install instead?
Great video I do want to ask you about different subject since you really know what your doing ,do I need a tuner with slip on and heavy breather I’ve heard you do and you don’t thanks
@@DavidLundquist-r9c the most common practice is no tuner needed for just exhaust. But once adding an intake, you’re making big changes to the ability of air to come in. The stock ecm’s can only auto adjust 10% for air fuel ratio which is designed to keep the engine running perfectly at different elevations, not for us to change parts up. So I recommend getting a tuner when doing an intake. Long term health of your engine will thank you!
Not only is fat baggers clutch adjuster last forever you can adjust it were you can disengage the clutch with a finger wrapped around the throttle and use two fingers on the lever...
@OffWeekGarage no problem that's the first thing I did when I got my bike? I like to ride motocross style. Because the way it comes from the factory, you can't hold on to the throttle. When you fully disengage the clutch, so that means you could get blown off the bike without holding on, got to be able to get two fingers around the throttle and two figures on the lever.
Nice video, great explanation. That plastic clutch adjuster is a b***h, Hubby adjusted no issues on his SG, on my RG it stripped. so the metal replacement 2 day shipping. lol
@@scotta6610 it’s going to differ depending on how people ride their bikes but I’d recommend during oil changes when you already have the derby cover off!!
The in depth detail you provided is amazing so I just subscribed
Very well done and easy to understand....and helpful. Good video.
@@sandramarie5539 so glad I could help, thank you for the support!!
I’ve used a pass through wrench on the clutch nut. You can pass a standard Allen wrench through it to easily break loose and tighten the clutch nut.
very clear instructions for clutch adjustment. Well done
Thank you for the kind words, glad I could help some folks out!🙌

I removed that hooky clutch setup and added the fat baggers adjustment nut, way more secure and adjustment is much better.
I'm with Dan, I'd rather have that lever closer to the bar. But good video as always
We ended up popping back in there to readjust, no big deal! Thank you for the support!🙌

What about lube n the cable
@@neano62 good call, I should have added that in, what do you recommend?
@@OffWeekGarageshow us how we can release the cable at the lever so we can lube the cable.
@ last time I lubed a clutch cable , I used sum kind of graphite liquid lube. Can’t even remember who made it
What lift is that?
