All sorts of insane decorations are making the rounds online, the weather for most of the country is one of the coldest in Halloween history, Kim Kardashian has a new ad for her Skims company, there’s a very important watchdog group called “Consumers Research” that has put out what they call a “Woke Alert” about overly inclusive candy, there is a new thing going around called “Trunk or Treat,” a number of people are claiming that Ron DeSantis wears lifts in his boots to make him taller, we have a new edition of “This Week in Florida,” Trump is mashing his little pink fingers posting all-caps rants about his gag order, Joe Biden was busy greeting trick-or-treaters at the White House, and we dressed up some dogs as spiders to terrorize our unsuspecting co-workers.

Hopefully you feel better today. Sorry for your loss. It does make it harder when the anniversary is on a holiday. My worst day some years is my birthday because my Dad and I shared that birth day. He's been gone over 30 years and it's still hard .

Trunk or treat has been happening here in the outback of Arizona for a long time. Mostly because there are only 5 or 6 houses on a long dirt road. There are thousands of houses, but it would be really hard to get around to enough houses In a night to be worth the effort. So a bunch of folks all get together in a parking lot and parents bring their kids to the lot to make it easier to trick or treat. 🎃🎉🌵🌵

Military Family here, the trunk or treat is very common on installations. Its how the community trick or treats in a central location, its always a popular event and the kids have a blast.

I like the switch in pranks. The "kids' candy" thing always just felt like mocking kids for trusting their parents. This kind of absurdist prank has more artistic merit, and it's just funnier (kinda like those pranks with the realistic dinosaur puppets suddenly lunging out of nowhere). It's great seeing people's reaction when they momentarily think they've entered some Kafkaesque hell dimension, eg. "regular office plus GIANT FAST SPIDERS". The best part is when you put the legs on super-friendly dogs, so they immediately charge towards anyone they see for attention.
Take note Gen Z, when the prank was over the "victim" of the prank had a smile on their face.
