When I asked her who did them, she gave me the entire run down on how to put them on. She did a great job explaining, but as a first time user I definitely needed this video. Thank you for your help! 🙌🏻

My husband bought these for our teenage daughter for stocking stuffers as an alternative to regular nail polish. I've never used them before. This is a great video! I'll tell her to watch it. Thank you!

My friend just bought these for me and I had no clue what that were, found your video right away and am excited to try them out! Thanks for getting straight to the point.

I have shared your video numerous times because it is one of the best I’ve seen. Thank you so much I appreciate you putting this out. 💕
I recently bought the French manicure ones, not a big fan because the clear coat was cloudy looking. I used a second time on top of nail polish with a clear gel top coat they came out great! I love using them on my toes they lasted longer! Regular nail polish doesn’t last long on my finger nails but these last !

About how long do they stay on and how do I go about removing them? Can anyone help me pls?
YAY!! They really are the best out there! Our glitters & designs last 7-10 days as do solids when doubled up or sealed with a top coat (Clear as Day is my fave!! but liquid top coats work too! Just be careful because some brands may cause your strips to shrink a tad.) And, our strips come off with regular nail polish remover. Again, we recommend non-acetone as it is much less drying than full acetone (this is what was ruining my nail strength for years & I never knew it!!) If you have any other questions.. look me up on facebook or instagram. I'll be happy to help 🥰

I was trying to show people you can use the excess if you want to but that’s not always going to give you the perfect fit. I tend not to use the leftover strip on my other fingers since it’s not always a perfect fit but I wanted people to know it’s an option. How long do they last for someone who's hands are in water a lot? I paint my nail a pretty color and 3 days later they are chipped and all ugly looking so I don't paint them very often maybe 5 times a year if that. I'm looking for something that will last me more than 3 days.
The Combs Family they will hold up extremely well, especially the glitter styles. My aunt washes all of her dishes by hand and she can keep them on for weeks! I’d be happy to send you a sample. Email me at kristin.pokrass@gmail.com
Thank you for this demonstration! Does it have to set after x number of minutes/hours before you do dishes or wash your hair? I wouldn't want it to come off. Thank you.
RedLikeWine my pleasure! The strips are 95% dry out of the package. You want to wait about 20 mins for them to fully cure before washing dishes, showering, or doing anything rough like ripping into boxes, but other than that you are good to go right away!
I've had mine last 14+ days before but my problem is that 1. my nails grow quickly so you can see the growth from my cuticles and 2. I also like to change them up BC I love the different colors/glitters /shimmers /designs so I change every 10 days LOL
There's another consultant who only uses tweezers to handle the strips, which made sense to keep the oils from your fingers off the strips for them to last longer.
Bee Smith unopened sets are good for one year. Once you open them you want to use them immediately - since they are 100% nail polish they will dry out if not used right away. Yes our founder used to license the technology out to Sally Hansen but not anymore.
Longest I have had them last is 21 days. And I only took them off to put another set on. I'm a livestock producer and hate wearing gloves. Color Street is an amazing product!!
I just got mine, so I'm first time user I just loooove them!!! My first was a little challenging but as I continued that look perrrfectt!!! I recommend it 😍😍😍
Milissa McGuire very different. Jamberry are vinyl stickers that you have to cut and heat to apply and they are a process to remove and often damage nails. They take a lot of time to apply. Color Street are 100% nail polish in a strip that can be applied in about 10 mins. No cutting, no heating, no tools of any kind needed to apply! And, you remove them easily with regular nail polish remover because they are just that - regular nail polish just in the form of a strip! There really is no comparison.
Solids are $11, glitters are $12 and designs are $13. They are buy three get one free! French sets are $14 and buy one get one free. They come in 16 sizes (you get two sets of 8 double ended strips - each end is slightly different in size). You can see everything here: www.Colorstreet.com/Kristinp
I have fallen in love with color street nails. I am a biggy on pretty nails and use to get them done at nail salon. Well got to expensive and ended up with infections for one reason or another. Then painting the nails what a joke right hand beautiful if I could sit long enough left hand what a night mare. We stumbled across color street and bam I was sold and haven't had naked nails since.
Denali COBB nope it does not chip easily and it’s not like tape at all. You need to use nail polish remover to take it off. Typically lasts up to two weeks but everyone is different.
Jax Mensch absolutely! My aunt washes all of her dishes by hand and hers hold up extremely well! You can always email me for a sample! kristin.pokrass@gmail.com
My last several sets have chipped and peeled off within days of applying. When I first started using color street, they would last for up to 2 weeks. I've been looking at videos to see if there was something different I could try, but I apply them the same way everyone reccommends. Anybody have any suggestions?
Alisha Casnar have you noticed it happening with a particular type of set? Like a solid for example? They definitely should not be peeling off. If they are chipping a little at the end you could file them gently and they should look good as new. But the peeling should not happen.
@@AlwaysPolishedwithKristin Its always the glitter ones that peel right off. And I always wash my hands and clean my nails with alcohol. Like I said in my initial comment, its been the last several sets that I've gotten that have peeled off and/or chipped within 24 hours. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but I never had this problem when I first started using color street.
Alisha Casnar that is very odd! I would contact your stylist to see if she can help you replace the sets that peeled off. That’s not at all typical as you know.
I've had mine last 2 week or more and my toes (which I did which the regular finger nail ones) have been on since the middle of July.. You can remove them with acetone nail polish remove.
I actually don't recommend a liquid top coat as it can make them smudge and/or bubble. You can try our Clear as Day clear strips for added protection if you like. :)

Girls how long do they last for you? Mine are on 4 days now still mostly ok.
Longest I have had them last is 21 days. And I only took them off to put another set on. I'm a livestock producer and hate wearing gloves. Color Street is an amazing product!!
@@ravwicca11 wow
I just got mine, so I'm first time user I just loooove them!!! My first was a little challenging but as I continued that look perrrfectt!!! I recommend it 😍😍😍
Isn't this like Jamberry? What is the difference?
Milissa McGuire very different. Jamberry are vinyl stickers that you have to cut and heat to apply and they are a process to remove and often damage nails. They take a lot of time to apply. Color Street are 100% nail polish in a strip that can be applied in about 10 mins. No cutting, no heating, no tools of any kind needed to apply! And, you remove them easily with regular nail polish remover because they are just that - regular nail polish just in the form of a strip! There really is no comparison.
Color Street is 100% real nail polish with base and top coat made into a strip form that is easy to apply with no dry time.
Interesting. How much do these cost? And how many sizes are there?
Solids are $11, glitters are $12 and designs are $13. They are buy three get one free! French sets are $14 and buy one get one free. They come in 16 sizes (you get two sets of 8 double ended strips - each end is slightly different in size). You can see everything here: www.Colorstreet.com/Kristinp
What’s the recommendation for top coats? Regular or gel?
You don’t need one!
When removing the excess either with the finger or a file, how do you prevent chipping the tip of the paint at the end of the nail?
Curve the ends under the nail and seal it tightly against your nail. I use a cuticle pusher for that.

EXACTLY what I was looking for!
My mom does hers and mine I have some on now there purple and sparkly but she does it a different way but there just as good
How long does it stay
Typically about 2 weeks
OMG I did not know what they do but now I know I really want one
This is really helpful 😊 I really didn’t want to get the machine for the nail
How simple & to the point was this...I love it. Excellent video. I would love to know what idiots would give this a thumbs down...
Kit Kat hahaha! Me too! 🤣 Thanks so much I’m so glad you liked it!!
Bonnie Whiteman so happy to hear you have fallen in love with CS!! So have I!
So how do you do the other hand without messing up all of the nails you just did??
what colors are you using here ?! i love the silver
Unfortunately these are both retired sets. The silver is Tinseltown and the navy is Jewel of Mumbai
Does it get chipped easily or come off like tape?? How long does it last??
Denali COBB nope it does not chip easily and it’s not like tape at all. You need to use nail polish remover to take it off. Typically lasts up to two weeks but everyone is different.
So when we are we going to get that "Fifth Element" tool where you just touch it and polishes your nail to any color you want?
Ikr, it's been like 20 years, you'd think they would have invented that technology by now lol
😂
That was Total Recall wasn't it? The first one with Schwarzenegger?
Does it stay put even if you do housework???
Love this!! Does anyone knows how long these last?
They last give or take 10 days. They are fantastic! If you put them on your toenails, they last weeks and weeks!
@@jennifermanke7513 thank you!!
what color is the navy you used?
Sonja M it’s called Jewel of Mumbai but it’s since been retired. We have a new navy called US Navy!
How long do they last? And how can u take them off?
I've had mine last 2 week or more and my toes (which I did which the regular finger nail ones) have been on since the middle of July.. You can remove them with acetone nail polish remove.
I put in an order and was wondering do you need to use a top coat with these? Or no?
Angela Dalessandro nope! They are three in one - base, color and top coat all in one!
Add a top coat.
It's going to last longer if you do.
I actually don't recommend a liquid top coat as it can make them smudge and/or bubble. You can try our Clear as Day clear strips for added protection if you like. :)
I’ve used top coat and I’ve had no problems. Probably not the correct way but I haven’t had it bubble on me.
@@jesanderson28 I use base coat too!
WATCHED! GREAT DEMO!
