I sold my RX 6600 after using it for an year and got a used RTX 3070 for about 250$... In india, it's an outstanding deal... 8GB vram isn't a lot but the 3070 still is awesome at 1440p and outstanding at 1080p. Also love your content bro...😬
Even though I operate on the low end of the spectrum, I enjoy buying, cleaning, and selling used GPUs. In my city, there is no Megastore. So the demand is quite high. Even if there was a big store, there would be nothing in the $50-60 range which is what people ask for the most. They just want to start with "something", then upgrade later. My customers are very happy. They saved money, and I offer them a warranty if they have issues within a small period of time. Outside of ebay, there is no place for people to buy lower end GPUs without meeting some random guy in a parking lot. Even eBay can be a mixed bag. One time I received an entirely different GPU than was listed LOL. Used is king. Just like used cars (my initial career).
I always take apart, clean and repaste any graphic card that I put up for sale. Even if I obtain one in pristine condition in the original packaging. I don't mind doing the extra steps I enjoy taking things apart and refurbishing and because it it just good business imo.
Saving a lot of money buying used RTX 3070 for 225$ in Europe but still can't afford whole PC... Whole setup with "budget" overpriced 1440p monitor still close to 1k$
Just did a search on 2nd hand gpus in Denmark, where I set the max price to be what I paid for my 6650XT on sale new. I got the best option of a 3060ti, followed by 2080 vanilla, with an Intel limited A770 further down the line price range. Generally two very solid options with slight upgrade and one collectors upgrade.
My last card, RX 580, was purchased used and I got a good deal. My recent purchase was new because the used market is insane in my country. I got a new card for the same price as a used one. I think it depends on timing and your country as to whether a used card is a viable option.
Couldnt agree with you more. I recently bought a used Asus Strix 4090. Looked brand new, works perfectly and still has plenty of warranty left. Best part, I literally saved 1000€ from what this model costs new. So I think I got myself a good deal 😄
@@ProYamYamPC It is indeed! And with much less noise and the same temps as the Aorus Master 4080 I had previously. Gigabyte designed a very flashy cooler, with a screen and lights, but doesnt perform that well in comparison
got a 3060 ti for 200 euro to replace my 1060 6GB which i also bought used in 2019 and it serves well even until today. The used cards are usually fine even when mined
I got my two titan xps for 180 a piece. They perform equivalent (within 2 percent average) to 2080 super and 3060 ti and finally the 4060... All of these cost 250 to 350. I got my titan xps at 180. Fuck ye.
I still wouldn't be spending more than $100 for a GPU (preferably less). Then again, I don't do gaming at all, and the games my wife plays aren't highly graphics-intensive either.
Only plonkers buy new. Wait for all the plonkers to buy the next new fad and cash in on their stupidity. Pro tip - ebay is expensive, get bargains more locally and specifically go after cards that have not sold for long periods i.e weeks/months. owners are usually more happy to take an offer just to get rid. 3060ti or 3070 great budget card for 1080/1440 or if you need some poke 3080ti fantastic falue or for me pay a bit more and get 3090 is doing me proud.

Used is always king mate!

That's the best way on how to do it! I've flipped cards before doing a similar method. Buy one, clean it up, make content, and sell it

I agree mate. Used pricing heavily depends on your local area (more son than new pricing). In which case, buying new is a logical option!

Lovely deal on that mate! I'm sure it's playing BF2042 and your other games brilliantly!

i bought used 1050ti for 30 bucks last year and it's working amazing.
The 1050 Ti was my first GPU in a DIY PC!
I've bought every GPU used since the GTX 560 Ti, and I've been happy every time.
Buying used is the way 90% of the time I believe. Awesome value all the way

This video should just be called “I shat on the 4060 for 8 minutes”
Not as good for monetisation🤣 But good idea🤣
Should I buy a used rx 6700 xt right now, or wait until q4 for newer gen so prices go lower
If you need the upgrade now, yes. If you can wait for an upgrade, wait.
@@schifferu Brilliantly said. I would have said the exact same thing

Everything should be good mate! That's a great deal on a 6800!
