Thank you for always posting useful videos. I wanted to purchase the Maddox MH 1B introduced this time, so I looked on the site, but it wasn't for sale. I'm from Japan.
So my car never over heated, got that code a while back then it reset it self then came back on. Driving home noticed a coolant smell got home didn't over heat noticed the coolant around the thermostat area
if I was guessing the thermostat is bad. When you order a new one make sure it's the correct one. They offer 2 types, one with sensor and one without sensor. Or the base seal is bad on the housing.
I would probably go to ferrparts.com/diagrams/qtp-2011-4-7-auto/cooling-system-nourice-and-lines-023#025 or www.ricambiamerica.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=230890 and look at a parts breakdown
You would have to look up your part #. There are a few differences between years and different choices depends on options on your car. I would look at the online parts manual at Ferrparts for your proper part. p/n 230890 no sensor or p/n 230889 with sensor

Glad to help
Will it leak if it fails
Depends on how it fails. Seals fail yes, valve stuck open or closed no
Just got my alternator replaced in my 2011 model. Now I’m starting to see a P0128 code 🤦🏾♂️. Gonna try to DIY this probably.
Hopefully changing the Thermostat helps
Did you notice a leak from that area
Temp out of range. No leaks
