Not crazy about them they really kill the ground clearance of the vehicle. They hang down to low ! They need to be more level with the rock slider !

Just curious I'm servicing mine this weekend and was wonder if you started the engine (like the DCT) got the coolant to 104-120F before opening the check plug. The manual calls for it, but did not see it reflected in the video. Thanks

I "think" I may be having this issue on my '13 LP550-2. I'm always in sport mode. Driving around with a little higher revs, all is fine. Slowing to a red light, low revs, downshift paddle and it sometimes drops two gears. I heard that if you hold the left paddle, it will drop two gears, but I don't think I was holding too long. And sometimes from "N" to 1st, I have to hit the paddle twice. But always goes in. Driving around at speed, no issues at all. Micro switches? Perfect video timing. Just got back from a drive.

Thanks for sharing.....how is the upper most trim piece removed to expose the screws for the middle piece? Is it simply retained with clips, or is there a screw holding it?

I used leds to replace my running lights. Now when I use my turn signal the break light blinks with it. The dash says "check rear signal bulb". Wth?

Hey there, since you seem to be an expert on the 458, could I ask if you know about this code: B1004, Super lift Failure (AUTEL ELITE SCANNER)? The car is having problems with the lift, and the suspension is occasionally becoming excessively stiff, even in Manettino Comfort Mode. It's a 2012 458 Italia with only 13,000 miles on the odometer. Those aftermarket wind stops are awful. If you're going to go through all the trouble of replacing the wind stops, get the OEM units. They're about three times as expensive but they look right. It's better to simply remove the bad ones than replace them with substandard and ugly after market units. That's my opinion anyway.

O-ring and a crush washers on the drain plug? I've never seen that before. The crush washer should be enough. Help me out, if I'm wrong here
