    10:10 Additionally, if you (as a homeowner) decide to terminate your pest control coverage, they'll come take the bait stations and leave your house exposed. Soil treatments are superior, but the BEST way is to have your home builders bora-care your foundation and 3-ft of your studs during the phase before your sheathing goes up. Prevents rot & termites for the life of your house. 👌

      Yes they are your best friend when they are working and worst enemy when they are not haha!

    And about the liquid vs. bait stations, liquid is always far superior. Like you said it lasts longer and statistically it prevents a termite infestation way more than just using bait stations. For the most part we do 90% liquid termite treatments. The other 10% is when we use bait stations because we can't do a full liquid treatment on a home. (Bait stations alone are considered a full treatment.) For the homes that cant have a full liquid treatment i.e. crawlspace houses that are encapsulated and we cant treat around the piers under the home, inaccessible areas or if the owner doesn't want drilling on their home, we will use bait stations to make it a complete treatment, then trench the soil and apply Termidor HE to add extra protection.
    You should also look into the HP II High Precision Injection System, its a machine that looks like a pogo stick that you push down on and inject chemical around the home every six inches and it takes away the need to do any drilling of attached slabs or garage expansion joints on slab/crawlspace foundation homes. A real game changer!!

      Yeah that sounds like a great protocol! Yes actually I have used termidor HP before with that system. I love the technology but currently dont use it.

    When the gentleman said “you look familiar” I’m guessing he’s seen some of the Fast and Furious movies! Fortunately the Black Bear fire has just about been extinguished when you came through the gorge. Spent most of my youth huntin’, campin’ and fishin’ in the Harmon Den area. And yes short sleeves this time of year?? 😂 congrats on your new rig.

    You might want to brush up on the labels for the chemicals you will be using. For instance if you're using Termidor or Timbor in that tank for termite or beetle treatments, you can't use it with other chemicals to fill up your back pack/B&G sprayers for regular pest control. (Cross contamination) Regulatory will fine you, at least in my area. Be careful. But the whole set up looks amazing! great job man! Love following your successful journey!!

    • @DanTheBugMan
      @DanTheBugMan  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes I normally will just keep water in the tank unless I know I have a termite treatment coming up. Thanks for watching!

    I think your truck bed is aluminum so it should not rust. Very nice rig!
    Also great idea with cut off valve to fill up back pack…..

    Is the termite tank the same solution used for general monthly pest control? You mentioned how to use the gun for termites and then explained filling your backpack sprayer from the tank so I got confused by that. I’m looking into pest control as a future business idea.

    Hey Dan, I’m starting my business as well! I use Oldhams as well. My rig is being built now as well but they are making me drive to Memphis to get it installed. I’m 30 minutes away from Knoxville! I’m as well going to document my journey of starting my business up as well. How do I get them to install it?

    Only for pest control I know that for termites you need another license in Mexico I have more than 18 years of experience

    Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Rafael, I'm from Mexico, I really like your videos. I'm dedicated to pest control, but I want to start my business in Texas because I live 3 hours from San Antonio, TX. I'm starting an LLC company, so I want to ask. Is there no problem if I start in houses without a license? greetings

    You also need to put a cup build a cover to put over the generator so that you don’t destroy it in the weather that you have where you’re at like an insulated box

    • @DanTheBugMan
      @DanTheBugMan  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I do need to get a cover soon. Although I dont think insulated will help, does it?

      @@DanTheBugMan how are you gonna keep it dry when it rains do you park the truck inside the garage at night so the plastic barrel you have will not crack in about five years I told her gets the harder it is to start a generator and it’s colder temperature cause the oil is cold unless you’re gonna put an oil heater in it

    • @user-uf7ws1ot9o
      @user-uf7ws1ot9o 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The colder it gets the harder is to start because the oil is like ice
