    In some ways, this job is very easy, but in some ways, there's many challenges a pest control technician faces. Pests can cause quite the trouble and also customers are CRAZY sometimes. As a technician, I have learned to roll with the punches and just make sure I'm prepared for everything that comes my way!

    Bro use talstar for ants. That's what it was originally created for. Then they found out it covers 75+ other insects.
    I promise they will never come back after 1 treatment. It's got a label for indoors. Highly recommended. Instant kill

    • @freshwaterexperience6058
      @freshwaterexperience6058 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Talstar isnt good for ants. Yes it will kill them if they come in contact with it but they will avoid it. Taurus SC on trailing ants outside is best. It’s a non repellent so they can’t detect it. Once they trail through it, they will transfer the active ingredient throughout the entire colony.

Commission for us is about 18-25% which is great plus bonus incentives and such. A lot of people sleep on the amount of revenue you can generate doing this profession.

      Hi, so what is the best product to control cockroachs 🪳

    • @Jrixi
      @Jrixi ปีที่แล้ว

      @@67focs Hi there, I recommend an insect growth regulator (IGR), which sterilizes the cockroach population by inhibiting specific life cycle stages, thus rendering the cockroachs unable to reproduce. An IGR coupled with an Adulticide works great for my accounts.
      I usually use 1oz of Gentrol per gallon of water as my IGR. Then to that mix I’ll add 30grams of Alpine WSG for my adulticide. Read, understand, and follow the full label for every pesticide you use and make sure you get a positive ID for the cockroach species you want to treat. A rule of thumb is that sanitization and cleanliness habits are critical to prevent and/or end cockroach infestation.

    Hey bud. I have a question. I had a few adult roaches and quite a few babies in past two weeks. But the adults I saw were killed and I pretty much killed ever baby so far. Plus a pest control guy cams and it helped a little. They were mainly under my kitchen sink because of a leak, plus some in bathroom. I haven’t seen many since I treated, and the pest control treated. I just bought these roach tablets, and I’m very concerned on whether to put them behind stove and refrigerator because there is none there. I have checked a lot. No droppings, and they are not in the back enclosure on fridge. So these tablets have boric acid plus lure, and I am confused that if I pit them around appliances that I will be attracting them there. So should I still put them there? I don’t want to give them a new home behind appliances. My wife will trip if she sees one coming from underneath stove. That’s my question.

    • @DanTheBugMan
      @DanTheBugMan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Howdy! So the reason they attract roaches is because they have a poison bait. So they may attract roaches but they will be killed from the insecticide. Just keep everything super clean around the kitchen and you won’t get roaches

    • @danielvitolo2595
      @danielvitolo2595 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dan The Bug Man OMG! In the last week, I dont think I’ve ever cleaned this much in my life. I bought air tight containers for pantry stuff. My sink never has one dish in it anymore and is always kept bone dry! I even cleaned my oven, behind stove and fridge, Garbage is always empty and pet food emptied every day, and I went on top of cabinets and cleaned all that grease dust that sticks up there. That alone took 2.5 hours lol. And there’s still things I want to clean. I cant figure out how to move dishwasher out, because I know that thing is disgusting underneath. That’s the only thing left for me to deep clean. But I will get one more pest control guy, plus leave all the bait pellets after he leaves, then I’m gonna re caulk my whole house and replace that rotted board under the sink. Maybe this will keep me in the habit of keeping kitchen spotless! I can tell you this much, My wife is loving it, lmao!!! She cleans, but not the way I have been doing it! Although cleaning home is mostly a woman’s job, if a man puts his mind to it, he will do it way better! Sry ladies, lmfao!!! God Bless all. Take care.

    • @michaelmerck7576
      @michaelmerck7576 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need a growth regulator spray (gentrol) and some gel type of roach bait hopefully with fipronil as active ingredient

    • @2zbrewerton
      @2zbrewerton ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As a pest professional myself wether you are afraid they will be drawn out of not you need to draw out the roaches and have them come into contact with the product in order for them to die. If you use the product and none come out wether it's tablets or bait from the pros then problem is solved if they come out it means they are still in the home. Also roaches after reproduction become pesticide resistant so part of them are not effect to current bait when they hatch. This is why rotation of the bait is important you also need to control reproduction with a igr as well. If not and you can't stop them from reproducing they will continue to thrive and survive and will continue to infest the home. And lastly they may avoid everything else you throw there way also so it's good to spray a insecticidal spray tank mixed with an igr across cracks and crevices so when they do come out they are bound to cross those areas. You can also dust inside holes, utility line wall cavities and get a crack and crevice aresol spray in those areas to flush them out and or get that product in hard to reach areas. Chances are going through a treatment will take 2-3 full treatments plus heavy cleaning after each treatment after 24 hours of treatment has lapse then and finally will roaches be under control. I hope this helps. It's a lot to read but again roaches are hard to get rid off

      If I had to guess it's Department of Environmental Protection. Most every state has some agency that overseas the application and transportation of pesticides. Often times you have to submit usage reports to the government so that they understand the macro levels of pesticide use in the state. Some states use a state version of the EPA, others put it in Agricultures court.

      In other states and areas people act differently. Midwest area people usually pay and don't stiff, it's almost unheard of to do that and when it does the company goes to court and may get it outta their wages and many family owned (like mine)will go to their house and ask what's up. Lol. We don't play out here with people who don't pay. I live in Milwaukee,WI so it's not some farming town with 23 people either. 😂

    As for your service . I would be extremely pissed seeing this video.. you’ve glorified taking deep money for a kid to come by and (sorry) lazily just gets jobs done as fast as possible to make a video and content of how much money he makes and how fast ..,
    Another person commented “hey how is it your company let’s you make these videos or do they know?” THE ANSWER to 99,9% of any other reputable company out there that is large enough or had a brand name to protect. They would absolutely NEVER allow this as any company trying to portray service above other company’s , integrity , professionalism and industry knowledge then this video would severely contradict that message …
    Kids nice but a kid in his teens , without a uniform , with a video camera hastily drops in , sprays and leaves … no communication with the customer after letting them know your finished or how everything is looking and most of all the opportunity for a possible up-sell on additional services for things you may have noticed at the residence ..

    You seem like a good guy, but you wouldn't last long with us. Your time in and out at the jobs and the way you apply pesticides wouldn't cut it. You didn't spray any into the grass areas , just up on foundation and its illegal to put rodent bait in corners of home in crawl space as it needs to be in a secure station to prevent it being dragged by a rodent and dropped outside where a child or a pet could cosume it. Aslo why use granules on a sunny day around the 22 homes? you should had used liquid because it wasn't raining but you where in a hurry and decided to give them an inferior service!

      @@DanTheBugMan I have had more luck controlling mice populations using those in crawl spaces, and since they are pre packaged and in pellet form, they don’t get devoured by ants and slugs compared to blocks that might degrade quicker due to heat or moisture breaking down the wax compound. To sum it up, easier placement, and easier clean up, so to speak. 🤣🤣🤣
