Xavi parla sobre la selecció catalana - Xavi, el col·leccionista [TV3]

Durant un reportatge que li va fer un equip de TV3 dirigit per Jordi Grau a Xavi Hernàndez se li va preguntar sobre el futur de la selecció catalana. Aquesta va ser la seva resposta:
"És una hipòtesi que l'esportista català no la contempla perquè això ja no depèn de nosaltres. Ens pregunten a nosaltres però hi tenim molt poc a veure [...] sinó que és qüestió dels polítics."

I think Catalan is closer to Portuguese. I'm trying to understand what Xavi's talking about mainly based on my Portuguese.

It's closer to Spanish and French. Although Romanian, Italian, and Catalan are the closes thing there is to Latin.

Alexa Tagupa I don't think so. They talk about Xavi in the Spanish Team, and he basically says that he feels so proud of having won two Eurocups and one World Cup, something that looked imposible and anyone had any hope for it. They mention the time where Catalan players of the Spanish Team got to show up the catalan flag when they won the World Cup. Then they talk about the Catalan Team's situation. He's asked if he's got a thorn stuck in because of it (as the Catalan National Team is not affiliated with FIFA so they can just play friendly games), and he says that it doesn't depend on him or players in general but on politicians.

No es que sean "incompletas", las palabras son así en el catalán. Ahora bien, tiene un gran parecido con el español debido al origen común de ambos idiomas, al igual que el francés o el italiano.
