Great review as always! You pack in everything I’d want to know in a car review, without having to devote 30+ mins to watch. Keep up the honest car reviews, thanks Chris!
Thank you, Aaron Choi. Comfort wise, it literally is the X3 M40i, since it literally is the X3 M40i. We don't think that car is too harsh for daily driving. And Chris has some of the same concerns now that he's getting older, too. LOL. We're sure you probably meant something a bit different so feel free to follow up with some clarity. The GLC might be a bit smoother since it's a slightly larger vehicle with a longer and more stable wheelbase. Hopefully, that helps a bit and thanks for watching!
I just got on of these bad boys. I got it stripped down with no packages, just that bad ass engine, suspension and feel. My family of 4 likes to go tripping, and don't need ambient lighting, but Daddy drives, and wants to have some fun, if you feel me!!! Yours is the best review of this vehicle, because of the flavor. There are a whole mess of reviews that are just dry. So thanks Chris.
We just got one ....couple days ago. 2018 BMW X1 (my husband called this car: Grocery pickupper ha...ha...ha..,) but with sport seats like you showed for X3... I didn't try it yet. We bought it online, but... IT IS IN FLORIDA!!! And there is hurricane right now!!!! (crying loud).... :(
It's priced equivalently to the GLC 43 AMG, Audi SQ5, and Volvo XC60 T6. The Macan is about 20,000 more expensive than the X3. For the amount of performance and tech you get, it is most definitely worth it.
@@stevebieber8411 Im not sure if you have actually spec'd one out. I own an M40i and I cross shopped it against all of those cars. The XC60 T6 fully loaded (HUD, premium package, etc) came up to $69,000 CAD. M40i comes up to just under $70,000 fully loaded as well. It is very comparable. The T8 is another $10k ON TOP for still worse performance. Maybe prices are different in the USA but im telling you from my personal experience, the Volvo wasn't significantly cheaper, nor did it offer anything that was better than the competitors when it came to tech and driving performance. The XC60 was easily the worst driving of the 5 I tested. Its comfortable but the 2.0 struggles and the transmission is AWFUL. Really really disappointing it was really jerky especially if you had to suddenly accelerate or stop. Not close to being as smooth as the Macan or M40i was. I went into looking at these 5 expecting to walk away with the XC60. But based on the price and what you get I was just disappointed af. I would take the Macan, GLC, X3 before the Volvo. The Q5 was the only car that drove just as bad as the Volvo if not worse.
FINALLY...an American auto-reviewer that isn't a total bore! thanks man, nice review of this great car! :)
I have not stopped smiling since I picked my one up back in March
Nice! Thanks for watching, Martin Harman.
the best in its class. I like the design better than the new X5
This was a nice little crossover, Sam. X. And fast, too. Thanks for watching!
COOOOL I'm just watching EVERY SINGLE reviews on this cause I need to wait 2 months for mine :(
MrAlexanderHwang hey, what do you think of your car now that you have it?
Great review as always! You pack in everything I’d want to know in a car review, without having to devote 30+ mins to watch. Keep up the honest car reviews, thanks Chris!
Good honest review. Probably the best SUV in BMW's stable
Thank you, Gregory Trane. And thanks for watching, too!
Nice review! comfort wise, is it x3 m40i or Glc amg 43? I like fast SUV but I am getting old, need a fast but comfortable daily driver.

We appreciate your comments, John Miottel. Enjoy your car and thanks for watching!
Love autoacademics !!!! My new fav auto channel, great job !!!!
Thank you for your support, Joe Mikey! We truly appreciate it. And stay tuned. We've got some more good stuff on the way. Thanks for watching!
Optional 50 50 weight distribution? What if you don't opt for it?
Optimal, not optional. LoL. Thanks for watching, Maple Tree!
Lol his giggling tells me more about the car than a spec sheet can xD
Idrive is “decent”...no, its the best in its class
Blake G Fr... I don’t think anything comes close
Where has this been filmed. Like the surrounding area. 😎
Great review! Love your energy.
Thank you, mindovermatter33. And thanks for watching, too!
Great video! I'm really loving that color combo! It's gorgeous!
Yes, that color was really nice. Thanks for watching, FOAD RIGHTNOW!
I guess it’s okay. It’s a little too much for me. You have two bold colors fighting each other. In my opinion, Canberra beige looks a lot better.
Thanks for your videos! We are in the process to pick one new "German Friend", but still didn't decide which one. :)
Ha! Four-wheeled Germans can make some of the best friends, ZZ LiveLoveLaugh. Thanks for watching!
Yes, you are right! I had good one: Porsche Cayenne during last 10 years and was so happy, but we gave him "for adaption" to another family. :)
Sometimes you have to share the wealth. LOL Good luck on your new friend search!

Oh, no! Sure it's fine, though. (fingers crossed)
Damn I want one
If you have to get an SUV this'n ain't a bad choice 😬
All the reviewers has put 9k miles on it LOL
Great Review. Nice SAV by BMW for sure but 65k. Really????
Worth it.
would you rather paid 100k+ for an x5 m? x5 m only goes about 5 tenths of a second faster, id go with this and save 40k+

@@sahil203 wrong, the xc60 t6 is around $10K less
