The Bentley S3 and the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III are stunning cars. Perhaps I'm biased though. I've owned a 1965 Silver Cloud III, as the second owner, for 41 years. No starlight roof, no computers, just solid quality and solid comfort. The great advantage of these is that any good mechanic can look after them.
If you want something enough, anything is possible. It's far more satisfying to buy it with your own money that you have worked for. That's how I brought my Bentley.
That chrome trim running atop front wheel arch to door centre is beautiful and unique to this car I think... at least I don't believe I've seen them on any other B S3's or RR SCIII's. Not a trashilly added piece of bling. This is a very tasty automobile. !
It's a beautiful car and you're clearly spellbound by it and rightly so, it's Muller Park Ward, coachbuilt, the finests. When I was about 9 years old in the early 1960's I went with my dad to buy a new car, next to the mundane Morris Minors, 1100's, Vauxhall Viva's was a Bentley 1950's and it was, like this just gorgeous. I wanted it so much and as it turned out for less money we could have had the Bentley.I'll never forget it. But me dad said they were too expensive to run, wisely. You need pockets full of money to own these things. Here in Bristol in the 70's you could buy a Mk2 or E Type Jag for next to nothing, however it's because they cost bare P's to own and run. Better off getting a late 90's V70 wagon like Gus Frink, now there's a rich dude who knew his cars.

Keith Richards owned an S3 known as Blue Lena after Lena Horne. Tyrell Classic cars featured this era recently. The brake linkages are crazy and he goes into how they worked. Can have all the chrome you want but if those brakes aren't set right it's adios.
This car is not in “mint condition” and prices once again that the majority of Americans have no clue - I’ve judged these cars for forty years, and here are a few of this cars point-robbing problems: 1. Period incorrect paint colour 2. Incorrect finelining to wheel discs - double lines only appeared from 1972 onwards 3. Incorrect radio 4. Incorrect leather 5. Incorrect carpet 6. Front door handles incorrectly positioned 7. Incorrect tyres And that’s just for starters.
