I watched it again, and you cut that log with 54 strokes! Amazing !!

I carry a Silky Gomboy 240 and a Silky Katanaboy 500 out for my adventures. They are incredibliy effective. Easy to harvest all the dead wood around my camp. As you showed, it's easy to cut a plate with just a few pull strokes on the saw.

awesome review! I feel when im using the Silky Katanaboy i would have one hand on the back of the handle holding normally but the front would be above ( Back hand facing up to sky ) it helps to keep the downward Pressure ) Stay safe and stay awesome Mr Ben and everyone!

I bought one some time ago and it cuts just like you showed. I thought the time might come where one could not but gas for chainsaw even. Still need to feed the wood stove ! Old Boy Scout, Be prepared !

We share the same bow saw. It has its place in the kit, for sure. My go to, which is always in the rig, is my Katana 500. Hopefully you didn't sacrice a camera when the stack tumbled. Cheers, Clay.

So where's that update video you promised?
How's the saw holding up? How much cutting did it do before you had to sharpen it?

I just purchased this saw off amazon. $130 and free shipping at the moment.
My honest opinion is, love the saw, perfect in every way.
I can't see the need for the bigger one either. It seems like (6'2" tall) this saw maximizes the use of my reach and length. I can't see getting any additional benefit from the longer one, give the mechanics of a sawing motion.
