it's because your one of the first people to show real world testing on the new 25 really looking to see how offroad and tow test is with the hybrid system. i got a 24 lariat with tow and have towed 4k lbs on hills i think it has enough power but i can't imagine losing 60hp and trying the same load up this hills i was doing
I currently have a Ecoboost 2022 lariat with lane centering and I've been telling everyone for years my car basically drives itself on the highway but nobody understood! It's amazing! I ordered a 2025 hybrid lariat and I can't wait for the gas mileage! I have had ZERO issues with my 2022 other than snow covering sensors only TWICE during the entire ownership. This is an excellent, well built vehicle.
Job 2 Ford Maverick (Production date of 2/3/24 or later) will have the Pro trailers hitch assist and the Pro trailer backup assist. The panel below the screen will be different with the Trailer assist replacing the volume knob and the volume knob moved to the right side of the panel.
I agree, Jake-Utah is absolutely gorgeous! I currently drive a '21 Ford Escape, which is on the same "C"-platform as the Maverick. I have a '25 Maverick coming, and now I'm really looking forward to the improvements in the Ford Co-Pilot 360. Great video!
It’s a lane centering feature he is using to keep the vehicle centered in the lane. Lane Keep Assist just alerts or alerts and assist you if you if you go out of your lane.
The Ford F150 has been the most popular American vehicle for decades for several good reasons and many of them apply to the Maverick. I have owned a number of Ford vehicles and they have all been very reliable and engineered well.
Man, I'm really liking that Space White the more I see it. I currently drive a Hot Pepper Red '24 Maverick Lariat FX4. I have a '25 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD ordered in Eruption Green. I'm intrigued to see it in person but I'm also hoping that with my Maverick comes a few more and one of them will be this color. It's a great replacement for Cactus Grey. To answer your question about the windows, they're all like that. The few times I roll them down, they do sound a bit scratchy but I don't let it bother me. As long as it doesn't damage it, which it doesn't seem to, I'm totally fine with it.
My 24 Maverick has the driving assist feature you were demonstrating on the highway. I think it’s called copilot 360 assist and it does work pretty well.
So informative! We have all-weather floor mats, bed mat and leds for your 2025 Ford Maverick. Can we invite you to do a review? If yes, How can we connect with you?
Your driving patterns are intriguing. I'm trying to figure out what business you could be in that requires that much driving in a short time but not all year.
There's videos are awesome. Mine that is supposed to be built this month is almost identical to yours, except with BAP and no moonroof. As an aside, it's giving me an all out anxiety attack that the plastic is still on your screen. 🤣🤣
@@TheDacker57I'd like to know what average MPG it gets with the 4K and AWD added. That's what I ordered on mine and I'm hoping it doesn't take me down to like 20 mpg or something crazy
@@TheDacker57 would really like to see how it handles a trailer around that 4K weight. I am considering getting one, but I’m unsure how well it would do with my 3300 pound camping trailer being a hybrid powertrain. A little worried about the lack of power, but would love the hybrid powertrain for my work commute. Thanks man!
My 2021 Ford Ranger lariat has the same exact problem with the windows making that terrible scratching noise. I thought maybe there was dirt caught in there somewhere but I mean the truck was brand new. It occasionally goes away and then comes back again. Very annoying and infuriating considering my truck was $52,000 out the door with all the bells and whistle’s. There are a couple of other quirks that annoy me about the truck but other than that, I absolutely love it. So crazy about those windows though.
Surprised your payload is so low, I guess the sunroof and AWD package really eats into it. (Mine is 1460lbs, FWD XLT Lux package, 2k hitch, no sunroof). Power Windows, I agree they are very slow and sound nasty. 😂 I don’t have any rough edges on the door release like yours, someone didn’t do their job on yours. It’s interesting to see your review as an owner. So little has changed since the 22 when I got mine, in terms of physical stuff. New front lights and bumper, new screens, otherwise it’s still the same super cheaply made truck. If I didn’t need the bed, I’d not own a truck like the Maverick either, but since I needed one, it had to be a hybrid because I hate buying gas.
Pls show the rear suspension on this truck. I have the same color Hybrid Lariat coming in Jan. Would like to see if the suspension is different from my 2024 hybrid. Thanks Man!
I love the new grill but I am not a fan of the flap things where the headlights used to be. I am also not a fan of the HVAC controls on the touch screen. The 2024 Lariat I bought in Nov has lane keeping assist. It seems to work pretty good though I haven't really tested it on the highway. I can adjust how aggressive lane keeping is on mine, but it isn't that heavy on normal. It takes a little getting used to feeling it tug in your hand. I have been driving Fords for over 30 years. I've had good luck with them. When I traded my 2010 Taurus in for a 2018 Taurus there were things I liked about the new car and things I didn't like.
I have a 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor XLT luxury package and the lane keeping doesn't really do anything. I think it is because I only have cruze control not adoptive cruze control or Fords lane keeping is just not aggressive .
I test drove 24 lariat yesterday perfectly perfect noise. I feel like theres grit or something on every single door trim/seal. I dont know, but mine didnt do it. when I tested, (24 not 25) weird.
I appreciate these videos from a "regular" every day guy and not some career car journalist.
Don't be talkin' smack about John Davis at MotorWeek. You couldn't hold his muffler strap!
Man best review of this vehicle ever. Not like these guys who seem to be given a script from a manufacturer. Good job.

Does the Maverick have Homelink or some other built in garage door opener?

Will be getting mine in late February I ordered a lariat awd hybrid color green 💚
Been thinking the same, hope it works out for you
Maybe later in the year for me
Once the motor is broken in, a mpg test and update. Curious to see what real world numbers are
