Check out an up-close, thorough walk around of the all new 2025 Maverick. Some things have changed! Others not so much. I've really tried to give you my honest thoughts as a new Maverick owner. Opinions are why you're here! I'm sharing mine you can share yours. Please excuse the lack of film 'finesse'. I'm doing this because it's fun and I happen to have something new others would like to see. ...
2025 Honda Rebel 1100 SE DCT - Owner's Experience
มุมมอง 12Kหลายเดือนก่อน
The upcoming 2025 Rebel 1100 SE is a ghost bike for now! At the time of filming this I have the only one actually on the roads in Utah. It seems to me you can't find em anywhere. They will of course be more available as time goes on. Enjoy my 2 cents about this beast of a bike and get an idea if you'd upgrade to this as well, or just keep what you got. I'm not a pro! I may ramble but I have lot...

You ever get home from church and just feel it? I had a ton of fun making this video and it has some quirks for sure. Be sure to let me know if you enjoyed it, feel free to comment anything you would have done differently with editing/filming. I also of course do not own this song:) I used an iPhone 13 mini, GoPro Hero 5 Black, and an Insta360 One R to try to get the best angles.

Drum Cover-Luis Fonsi-No Me Doy Por Vencido

*I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG* Cover of Luis Fonsi's "No Me Doy Por Vencido" It was a lot of fun to make, and isn't very professional in quality, so don't critique too harshly.

Drum Cover of JAR, note; this was not recorded or edited professionally, me and my friend just made this cover out of boredom. We also have a video of the drums and guitar together in the same video, this one was just seperated from the Guitar to go on my own channel. We will try to redo it later when we have more experience. It's actually kind of off now that I listen to it, but I don't care, ...
Random drum fill,

This fill is improve all the way through, pretty much just sixteenth notes played around and patterned about the toms and snare, then speeds up into triplets at the last go down the toms. Just fun to post random minute long videos in this animation.

Instrumental of the song "Saltine Crackers" by Above The Limit. This is not copy right of the other same video on TH-cam, I own all rights to this song, I'm just posting on my personal channel as well as the band's channel.
What is that figure in your side mirror in the Tesla?
Haven’t got a rebel (yet) just curious as to see how you get on with it. Hope you enjoy it.
Is that blue in the interior with the tan?
Vin #4!!?
Looking at the 1100t DCT but enjoyed this review and your opinion on the bike
I just said goodbye to my '22 Maverick Hybrid which was totaled in a fairly mundane crash, but all driver's side airbags popped. No, the bed will not be water proof, just 'covered'. If you wouldn't leave it on the porch then don't leave it in the bed. I only had FWD of course, I put on Continental Cross Contact LX and was comfortable in up to 7-8" snow. I did have that old style dashboard, and I don't think it's compatible with Sync 4, so you give it up to get the bigger center screen. No weird creaks or anything even at 63k miles. The motor will idle high when cold and thats the worst it gets. I always blasted the music, and again, no issues with blown anything. I felt it was ok for a premium audio system. My week driving city range was 550-600miles. Highway range was 400+
The color looks a lot like a pearl or metallic white. If I get a Maverick it will be the XL base model with the steel wheels. I'm a simple guy so I'll get a simple truck, I care more about the functionality of a pickup truck, than bells and whistles. Just want to pick up truck that gets great mileage, can carry a lot of stuff can tow a 4000 lb trailer. That trailer across the street looks about the size the Maverick can tow with the towing package. Today the Maverick is the only game in town. I hope the rumors are true, and that Toyota will come out with their compact Stout pickup truck this year.
My 2025 is for work and personal use and free, I can't complain.
I wish they would make a PHEV version, but having the HEV with AWD is a big step.
Is that space white?
I wish ford would bring this outside USA or in SEA. I think this would be great here since we have smaller roads, and parking space compared in the US
Why is the tank sticking up in the air first time seeing one ,the uglyist bike i have ever seen
@@geoffbroderick403 it's just a style my guy. You're kinda sticking up in the air with this comment.
Love this video, thank you 🙏🏽 I’ve rewatched couple of times already lol
Would you do video on the different modes? Like eco vs sport vs normal what the mpg difference? Also if the goat modes work at freeway speeds or just for slow city or light trails. I guess there no way to plugin charge the battery pack? When the battery is used up how is the drive difference? Does that prohibit modes or just automatically put an ongoing recharge?
All the bells and whistles 👌
Congrats on paying $40k for a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe.
@@ofmyownaccord 40k isn't that crazy anymore bud. That's some big truck energy you're putting off
its blue cruise and if it's making you touch the steering wheel that's because that's just lane assist not blue cruise, when on the interstate and it enters blue cruise the whole IPC with change and say blue cruise if it's even equipped with blue cruise, just saying that's all!
I bought a JBL all in 1 Sub and amp for $320. Fits under the seats and was worth it.
@@AccidentalReefer I want to hear more about that! How did you hook it up to the audio system? What's the sub called
@ it’s the JBL BassPro SL 2. Gives the truck the missing bass. I have the hybrid so the battery is right under the back seats. You’re not going to be rattling your car but it’s perfect for me.
Interesting that you said Ford isn’t known for its reliability. I don’t drive Ford exclusively, but I bought a brand new 1998 Explorer and drove it 147,000+ miles over 14 years. Nothing ever done to it but regular maintenance and everything worked correctly when I traded it in, including the moonroof and 6 disc CD changer. I traded in on a brand new 2012 F150 with Eco Boost, which now has 120,000+ miles and I have no plans to get rid of it at this time. Maybe I was fortunate with the first one, but I’ve put well over 100,000 miles on 2 Ford vehicles in nearly 30 years. I don’t know where you got your information on Ford reliability, but perhaps you should question those sources. Good luck with your Maverick. I hope it works for you as well as mine have…👍🏻
@@chuckhanchett7213 going 150k miles is not impressive. Saying Ford isn't remembered for its reliability is not controversial at all. Civics are reliable, commonly going over 300,000 without a hitch. Not most Fords I'm sorry. I hope mine is! But they don't build them the same as back when these days either. 100,000 miles in 30 years is extremely low, my family has a 2004 Civic that has 340,000 miles in 20 years, now that thing is cranking out the miles.
GPS on the screen would be nice.
Can, ask a question why did you go with a lariat instead of a xl hybrid awd if you use this truck as a work vehicle ?
What are your thoughts after driving it the last few weeks?
I’m torn between this and the Mazda CX 50 hybrid. My brain tells me the Mazda is the better purchase, and I have a 2015 Mazda and I like it a lot. There’s something about this Maverick though, I don’t know but I’m interested.
I picked up my 2025 Hybrid All-Wheel Black Out Edition in Space White last week. Immediately took to get the front windows and windshield tinted to match the back windows. Looks fantastic! So far I’m loving it. Quicker than I expected it to be. I’ll have to do a full review once it’s not -2 degrees here in Michigan and can get outside.
Watch both videos and this is the best I've seen for the Maverick yet.
I've never owned a Ford and never thought I would even like to have a Ford in the driveway but I am seriously considering the Maverick. It'll need to be all-wheel drive, heated seats, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel and adaptive cruise but I wouldn't know whether to get ecoboost or the hybrid because I'm kind of scared of both systems. I have a snowmobile, an ATV and a steel utility trailer so I suspect 2000 lb towing would be enough but I just feel like getting the 4K package. This was an immensely helpful video and yes you did a great job!
Ford not being known for reliability? I guess alot of Ford owners over the last 100 years would have liked to know that! In my opinion none of the vehicles areas dependable without massive expensive maintenance... Including Ford.😊 Go Army!!
Great video! I bought my 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT brand new in July 2024 and it is my 1st bike. I love it and I have 9,000kms on it and no issues. I replaced the seat, and put on a better exhaust, Shad SH38X Carbon Expandable Side Cases and SH39 Top Case.
I currently have a 2023 maverick hybrid lariat and will be updrading to the AWD with 4k tow package. I will say I think it is extremely good value for money. I have driven the other models and I don't think it is far to call those 'bar bones'. They still have a lot of features and functionality with great fuel economy. Also, for 40k, I think you are getting a heck of a lot in an incredibly small foot print / package. Its the pretty much the perfect truck unless you do a lot of heavy hauling.
Jake - I hope we have another update soon - in particular I want to understand your comment of why you wouldve picked a civic hybrid hatchback if your situation was different. The maverick OR civic will serve as a daily driver for me (while I have a fun car in the garage). Civic/camry/etc have such great build quality ... but the value for money out of a small truck which is awd, gets 40mpg, and is not much more than those cars.... seems hard to deny. Maybe you're making the comment you did, because you have a landcruiser in the garage, so you really dont need a truck for personal use, and thus would rather have the more nimble, properly refined civic, as a companion. Speaking of which, I'd still love to get the landcruiser review! Objectively they're overpriced, and really drive clunky sometimes (in my couple test drives), but there is a character to the LC that I can't deny. Anyways I'm all over the map with my "vehicle setup".
I love the way that truck looks with those wheels 👍
Nice!
I want one, but it'd be my first brand new car. I'd be terrified of getting in an accident, and theres so many people who drive like crap.
Just bought my 25 1100T with a manual, awaiting delivery. Vin 170 🤘🏻 great video
Bro you articulate your thoughts and opinions very well. Looking forward to more videos
Your other 2 vehicles are a tesla and a Land Cruiser?Bros got mad cash 💰 #welldone
Yes it’s a great little truck. An overachiever. Some other brands are overrated like trust fund kids.
Can you just use the adaptive cruise and not the lane keep assist ? Or do you have to use both at the same time ?
This is the exact maverick I'm buying tomorrow lol color and everything. I'm not a fan of white exterior, but the space white matallic looks kinda nice.
What's the yearly cost to run this vehicle?
You are going to regret getting a Ford EV after it hits 80-100k miles it’s a money pit nightmare 😂
@@Loogieiphone selling
I think you have the pilot feature on there which I will do that
I’m only getting 29 miles per gallon not happy
I got the 2023 1100T. Cool but everything (screen, fairing, tank, bags) too small. The CarPlay would be a game changer for the Rebel. I’m looking at trading up to an Africa Twin AS. With CarPlay.
You are sure critical for only having the Maverick one day. Maybe do a review at three months or something. I have bought 8 new Fords and many other new vehicles from other brands a well and the Maverick is very well made. Looking forward to your next review.
My friend please go to cleetus McFarland youtube channel. Overvlast month ! Watch f150 builds . Others then bolt ons stock inertes . 0 respect for brake in periods.
I wonder how much it would be to put that screen on a older model...
That's a cool little truck.
I got a '24 Lariat in October. Love it. Yes, it was a little expensive, but much cheaper than an F150! So far, loving it - especially the amenities like you mention.
Make it a belt drive ...😊
