they opened their Coachella set with Deep in the Willow but they didn't do the Knocked Loose callout, and Bonnaroo was their first show post-release of these two songs. They filled in the proper callout and they throw the ending breakdown of Everything is Quiet Now onto the end of Counting Worms. From Counting Worms into a brief ambient tuning session into "I WAS VISITED BY DEATH AGAIN" breakdown to close their set. It's so sick. And their tone is even gnarlier in the live video, at least for the final breakdown. It's actually insane
I love how easy it is to tell that they put a lot of work into coordinating their live shows, especially random iterations/medleys of songs and breakdowns that they do at different shows. Really cool and keeps the crowd on their feet because they know they’re always getting a unique show!
@Jarrad Bruessel I'm glad I'm not the only one. Not to mention there's always little kids in the pit doing karate every song so I'm not a huge fan of their fans either.
I think what makes Knocked Loose so good is that they know how to write music that will kill at live shows. The callouts, the breakdowns, the pauses, all of it is designed to make a phenomenal live show experience. They know what makes people mosh and go nuts and they write with that in mind.
Facts but they’re not just heavy just because they can be. They always find a way to make it a core part of their sound, without leaning on breakdowns obnoxiously. I hope they’ve got many more albums in the tank
I think another reason why their songs hit so hard is the contrast between Bryans high note screaming and guitarists deep vocals, I love that mix up in the songs
If you're going to be in the pit I'd wear a mouth guard. I saw them headline for their EP release and people were getting carried out the pit unconscious.
I really want someone to make a version of Everything Is Quiet Now, where it's a soft spoken and somber song, with the audio overdubbed on the music video right up until the point where Bryan grabs the mic and does the callout.. Just for the extra effect of that breakdown hitting like a tonne of bricks.

also I personally really like the vocals. you would expect something lower with this instrumental but I think his tone and delivery makes it all sound more human and emotional which is nice for a change
I think vocals have that old aggressive hardcore punk vibe which contrast to the heavier beatdown instrumentals really well. It's metallic hardcore but still sticking to it's raw roots kind of thing. Also the growls from Isaac contrast so well to Brian's screams and fit the more deathcore breakdown sounding parts of the songs.
