- Once located in downtown Dayton Ohio, US Aeromotive produced components for both the Aerospace Defense and Automotive Industries. The company still had over 100 employees in 1995. At one point the business had over 200 employees. In 1996 US Aeromotive was sued by Aero-motive for Trademark Infringment explaining a possible reason for a name change to US Aeroteam. US Aeroteam continued to lease the property until they were evicted (reason not disclosed). The Delphi bankruptcy ultimately caused the owner to personally file for bankruptsy. US Aeroteam has since moved locations and is described as a successful, growing aerospace company. The building has had many fires since 2007. With open elevator shafts, dangerous stairs, and structures the building is not recommended for unexperienced explorers. At this point the building is not salvageable and demolition would be very expensive.

We just left the jewelry because we don’t take anything and was wet and in bad shape. This building was demolished a year or so ago

Me and my friends used to go there all the time, I even busted my ass on that skateboard ramp, and that ladder actually snapped on my friend while he was climbing up, he didn’t get hurt or anything it was just scary lol, we used to call it “the toy factory” cus of all the burned stuffed animals (also this building got set on fire 2 or 3 times so it is now gone 😢)

Did you even look through the jewelry? There might have been diamonds or gemstones in there! If so, you could return them to the rightful owners.
I used to work there a few years before it burnt down. I worked up stairs. Used to burn numbers in metal parts. It was a fire hazzard when i worked there. There was live wires sparking all the time. I didnt work but a year there. It was a really nasty place to work. Your in a bad spot , somebody will kick your ass over there and steel your cameras ! I lived about 4 blocks from there. Want to see a wall of graffiti? Linden ave. At the railroad tracks. They are aloud to paint that wall. Guy that ones the place just gave up painting over it. Its in East Dayton , by East Dayton shopping center. By the railroad tracks. Best graffiti you ever seen !
