Got lost trying to find a job site in downtown LA. Got sent to an LA Metro underground railway construction site. Blew my mind! Like 4-6 story pit that had heavy machinery operating underground big units. Made me think of “what else is hidden underground”

@3:43 did you ever go over that wall? There's supposedly a way to access both the much longer abandoned (closed in 1929) Broadway and Hill Street tunnels from where you are. Supposedly there's an exit from the Broadway tunnel into a maintenance closet in the 3rd Street tunnel?

Right after 6:46 you see a smooth stone wall, that's more really old stuff, and you see a cross section of it before seeing more brick. Those are valuable architectural observations if you can record them more it would be amazing. When you see these wood brick walls just behind other walls or rooms you know it was probably a huge old space before it was ever a car park. What was it used for at that time? It's multi layered and potentially ancient :)

Problem Is the homeless wouldn't go there. Most if not all shelters have rules, no drug use, alcohol, weapons, and I believe you also have to be actively looking for employment. Most homeless you see on the street don't want the help, they'd rather live in the street and be criminals. Sad but true reality

It's the original red car line tunnel system it used to be open in the 1980's and could be explored. The high rise buildings and such have the foundations broken through and set in place. If anyone is wondering it is in Los Angeles California but they do prosecute trespassers so be careful not to get arrested.

If you want to start here's a hint: Downtown, alley in very close proximity to the library, look for an elevator door in that alley.
If you find the elevator door in an alley, ride it down, have fun.
There's more than one weird old elevator in downtown you can ride into places you're not supposed to be..... If you can't find the library elevator, go find the hidden in plain sight Warner Bros shield on a building in the diamond district.... There's a stairwell somewhere near the old stage that takes you to what looks like a small empty room... Look at the floor.
