The turn signal diodes are now live on my site. classicoctane.com/products/turn-signal-diode
An in-depth video about wiring LED turn signals would be the bomb.
love the look of the bike .... I really like the colors on the gas tank !
You and me both!
I just a bought 1978 cb400t for 100 bucks and the project is going great especially for the fact its my first motorbike project without a garage and I've been watching your videos and they help more than anything else I've found for it on TH-cam please give me tips for it and thank you
Mondays are the best
Definitely want a diode kit and a small video would be awesome! I am running into this problem on my bike currently.

Love that seat, looks great
man, that thing sounds smooth.
Looks great! Love the vids.
Looks and sound great 👍🏻
beautiful
Nice work!
Great build love the transformation!!
Looks great. Sounds great! Impressive.👍🏻
great job! Always enjoy ur videos
Awesome video again man! I would definitely be interested in buying a diode and seeing a more in depth video! Been working on a CB 550 of my own and these videos have helped me immensely 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi, bike looks great Taylor, good job. I'm working on a cx500 for me, just start the mess haha. Thanks for the videos from Wales. Gus
You deserve so many more subs.
Hey Taylor. You were about one week too late on the diode wiring and offer! Spent a few days struggling with trying to figure out why all my turn signals were going on. Lol. Thanks anyways. Glad you got another awesome bike done and looking forward to the next one.
love it
Always vid it helps the community
Nice video Taylor!!
Awesome, really sweet bike.
Great wee video man. 😀👍👍👍
Most definitely !! I'd love to snag one of those for my build. Along with that video, my old wiring harness was completely shot and I've used it to practice some soldering. All the info I could get on wiring would help out immensely!

great work on the bike man! the break/turn signals are just like the one I have on my cafe racer! Subscribed.
i would love this bike. i really like how you left the patena on the tank and only changed a few things
Diode me up buddy!!

Just watching your videos love them just saw the yellow car is that a Holden Monaro👍
To fix the blinker issue on my '75 CB550F Super Sport, I disconnected the beeper for the turn signal. The k70s do well on gravel roads.
Dude you need to another hard tail bobber. The triumph was the best!!
I would love to see how the blinkers of the ledstrip works in combination with the taillight, are the blinkers clear enough ?
Great video again, you have inspired me here in Wales UK, and I have bought a 1977 cb550 !! I'm interested in one of those diodes, maybe I can buy a t shirt pay for them both and u include it in the package?? Thanks again keep the vids coming.

Your vids are sick. Your bikes look great, loved the emerald green gas tank painted one you did for a client. Building a cb360 in Houston area....can I strip the turn signals legally...have you done that and passed inspection? Also I'd be interested where you get your seat hoops from they look clean. Keep it up man your page is awesome!
Interested in the diode here. But funny, I'm having the same issue with my stock front blinkers. I assumed it was a loose ground in the headlamp. But, yea, turn signal light both sides - the intended one is slightly brighter.

Build a scrambler next? :D
Hey Taylor, great videos. On the diodes, do you think they would work on CMX500 Rebel. I am going to change the turn signals to LED and want to try to a diode if I need them.
I know this is older but I’m doing a similar build on my CB750 79’, the seat mod, can you direct me to a video the deals with a CB 750 as far as the removal process? Thanks so much love your videos and appreciate your editing in your thoroughness
Instead of those ooglee front turn signals, what about using one of those strips stuck onto the top of the headlight rim to use turn signals and the middle as a daytime running light and have the headlight run only at nite....maybe install a light sensor to turn on/off like new autos have....
Great build! What is your opinion on an '81 CB900 Custom. Going stock on the rebuild would fetch how much in your opinion? Would you mod the bike or go back stock? Thanks and love your channel.
Ohhhhh... no rear fender.... :(
Still waiting for a CB500four build with rear fenders!!
Cheers!
Is that a muffler from cone engineering? I'm thinking about the 12 inch shorty from them with a MAC 4 into 1 to replace the 4 into 4 on my CB650
Why didn't you use the front indicators to hold the headlamp on instead of the bolts?
Can you run LED's with points type ignition?
Can we see the licence plate installed, maybe front fender?
Interested in the turning signal diode

how or where can i find a wiring diagram for the same bike
thanks amazing builds.
There are a ton of wiring diagrams online. I just google it and look through the images.
Do you remember where you got the led brake light?
Cool man! I'm glad someone is making this kind of videos. Not just the finished bike or skipping the wiring altogether because it is boring.
I've been there and there aren't that many people who either know how to make proper wiring or have the time to do that. Usually it is better to do it yourself as it takes a lot of hours to get it done, so outsourcing gets expensive.
On another note, I have made a simplified wiring diagram for the CB series that is much easier to understand than the FSM one (for both the advanced and noob). I'll leave it here if anyone is interested:

Absolutely love that rear light, what gauge sheet metal did you use for the bracket? Is that LED bar on your amazon page?
16 gauge and yes it is.
Thanks! Where did you source those bullet front signals
Quick question, do I need a flasher diode for the front and the rear? Also did you ever make a video on the subject?
hey classic octane, if i want to do a similar motorcycle build. what are the essential tools that i should have ? I'm planning to pickup tools but i don't quite know which one to get. thanks
A good set of hand tools, a welder, and a grinder will get you a long way.
I wanna see a fuckstone tires installed on that bike. 😊
I know this vid is old but hey, I just found you. But when you tested the back tail light and brake lights, you never tested the brake like with the parking light on, you turned the parking light off then hit the brake. So how do you know the back light is duel function(tail and brake light in one)?
You can see the light get brighter when the tail light is on and the brakes are applied.
The tire sizes in states are so weird..😂
Make a video on how the diode work
Planning to make one tonight.
Another great vid! What's the next project?
I will unveil it before the end of the month.
Classic Octane looking forward to it
I have a 75 cb750f. Will that resistor work for front and back flashers? Or are there 2 of them?
Yep, it will work for all of them. You only need one.

Does the rear suspension bottom out and hit the frame?
No even at full compression there is still a few inches of clearance.
I'm interested in the diod
Wonder if it'll also work for my son's 01 Virago xv250
For sure. It should work on pretty much any 12V motorcycle. I have the same setup on my Triumph with an M-unit.

Great build, love that tail light and its running great too. No criticism but I downvoted the video, just because its not a proper youtube video without some idiot like me downvoting it for no apparent reason ;)
What diode are you using
I made it using two IN4007 diodes. I will upload a how-to video on it.
Hey is there a way i can get ahold of you with some questions
DM on Instagram(@ClassicOctane) is probably the best place or email me ClassicOctane@gmail.com
Could you please tell me the serial number of the diode you have used?
IN4001 They are live on my site now classicoctane.com/products/turn-signal-diode
I’m down for a diode kit! Slap it on the website 😁
Just saw you already did it hahaha
Aaaand ordered...thanks! 👍
How much would you sell this for as it is?
I have a few people interested. DM me on Instagram (@classicoctane) or email me (Classicoctane@gmail.com) if you're interested.
Any chance you can ship me a t shirt to hong kong? It's not an option in your shop but I'd like to support your channel. Keep up the good work.
Just added it. Thanks for the support!
