My best advice to anyone that gets a v8 porsche. Just get a turbo, better reliability and more options and typically more redundancy in the engine. Maintenance not as bad as people portray. @@ultraguy8771 that’s what makes it cool though
Love the back, not so much the front. Seems a little bit outdated. Other than that, lovely car
Put a body kit and new headlights and boom it look better than the newest one
And aoh yea & some rims please
Seems a little bit outdated. It’s an old car.
And you're officially the first person to ever say that about a panamera.
wut literally the opposite front looks better back looks girly
Let's keep these old school
ew school comparisons up and hope to see more collabos!
I still remember when the Panamera first came out years ago. Man, I feel old...
Sorry, I would still get a Panamera over a Taycan now or 10 years from now!!! I am torn between the 2 variants shown here, but might lean towards the 2021 over the older one shown. Great review. Nice blend of facts, analysis, and opinion/preference. Thanks
I really like this type of video. I've been looking at Panameras as my next car and there is no way I could afford a new one so its good to see how the old ones have shaped up after all this time. Particularly the potential repairs which is a big concern for me.
Did you get your Porsche?
@Omkar Patil I didn't mate. I actually ended up going with a Cupra Formentor. Great car. Obviously not got a V8 but engine is quick enough and is packed with features
Thank you for not making my Sunday full of infomercials
James explaining the turbo trims is so funny
That helmet clip in the intro will always be legendary! 🤣
DING
I own one of these. My children get whiplash and motion sickness every morning on the way to school. Not to mention they’re never late. Sooo happy I didn’t get a traditional minivan.
This is a seriously good comparison
Another fantastic video, I cant emphasize how enjoyable the production is. You guys really produce a review similar to top gear uk from the jokes to the information delivery. What irritates me with other reviewers on youtube is many of them seem like its difficult to drive fast and review the car simultaneously but you guys nails it.
James:. Jay dog, I'm with Thomas at the moment..
Jason:. Eeewww..
Hahaha 🤣
My best advice to anyone that gets a v8 porsche. Just get a turbo, better reliability and more options and typically more redundancy in the engine. Maintenance not as bad as people portray. Had a cayenne S and upgraded to a Turbo and only needed a coolant expansion tank and now an a/c compressor. Put more money in tires and brakes.
The way the Panamera has evolved from pretty.. ugly to actually really nice. That red is astonishing as well.
Analog gauges in front and displays on the side. That’s the prefect setup!
Ohh yes this new content of 0-60 time is perfect..
Yeah I've been waiting for them to get a dragy.
Can't believe it's been almost 10 years since the panamera came out it came out when I was six and still don't quite love it as much as I should for an aged Porsche
Hey great job. do a video on the old acura nsx vs the new acura nsx plz
I really enjoy all of your videos! This channel has a "special thing" that only a hand full of other channels have. Keep up the great work 👍
I just got as Panamera myself, its a spectacular car! Screams quality everywhere! It's a matter of time before everyone starts picking these up!
Best and most entertaining channel on TH-cam!!
I much prefer the earlier instrument gauge and real switchgear.
This is the best video ever! Thank you guys.
Gosh, I needed that intro this morning
I love theses old vs new comparison vids!👍
Thanks for covering the maintenance issues on the old one, maybe the price will stay low enough for me to get one.
I can so feel Thomas, with his physical buttons and real proper steering and love for "old" cars 🥰
0:51 "Ew"
Holy shit, I died. People at work are looking at me weird.
another Masterpiece guys! Greetings from Athens, Greece!
Loved the intimate eye contact as Thomas delivered the "For tall people" line. I really felt seen as a tall people.
When Thomas found the faded cooled seats button in the new panamera I couldn't stop laughing😂😂
Every time I watch you guys it's like when I first saw Top Gear. Bravo, keep it up :)
At 125k miles, I would imagine the 2010 is due for some really expensive “routine” service intervals, aside from any unexpected repairs.
Knew someone that found a "great deal" on used a car that would normally be completely out of their price range. After the first couple of repair bills arrived, they got rid of it lol.
@@Lazirus951typical poser mentality. Buy something that they can barely afford to look the millions but still got the poor man's budget for repair bills
I thoroughly enjoy every single upload guys!!! Thank you for all the superb entertainment!!!! God Bless
I’ve been saying the older panameras are the biggest steal right now, considering the secrets out on the caymans. Now the secrets out on these too 😩 Great video though keep up the A1 auto journalism 🙏
I have a contrary view: I prefer the look of the 1st Gen Panamera to the current ones. That's just me
Some say the GTS hood is still opening to this day.
The haptic glass panels in place of the switchboard of buttons is a big step backwards - Porsche's used to be designed so they could be driven by someone wearing driving gloves - apparently not anymore!
with so many possible combinations and permutations of Panamera options, there's a very good chance that most owners own a one-of-a-kind car, pretty neat
Dude I love these series. They should make more of these
"you're on speaker, btw"
"ahh..."
This channel is excellent; will never miss a video
