A few years ago, when I was at a really low point, I went to a double feature of "Point Break" and "Roadhouse" in L.A. I cannot tell you what that did for me. It was like reconnecting with the mainspring of life. "PB" especially is a truly deep, spiritual experience if you let it be.
I can remember so vividly the day I saw Point Break. It was a gorgeous super hot summer day. The incredible attribute about music and this kind of ambient creation is that there is such a strong potent synergy there with the movie and core memories in that together it all truly captures moments lost in time. We may forget but a random clip such as this can stimulate the senses by unlocking/bringing back such super memories.

I found the beach by mistake on a day out when I took a road trip to Oregon....the one they used as Bells Beach Australia....nope 1 of Oregon's national parks....from the carpark I could explain everything about the view point, the stairs down to the beach, the bridge that also takes you down to the beach another way and the big rock out in the water with the hole through it.....that's a special time and place form me....memories. I use to love watching this movie.. my dad and I watched it together and thought it was so cool.. the Lord rest his soul. I implore you if you haven't already to seek Jesus Christ (Yeshua). He is the door that leads to the Father creator, Yahweh. He is the way, the truth, and the life, no one gets to the Father but through Him. Peace and blessings.

I used to run the trading floor of a stock broking firm. I knew I was over the industry when I listened to Isham’s point break OST and thought of surfing all the time. Now had never surfed in my life.
Survival I made it. My ambition at 7 yo was to leave and never live as I had. This movie (ambient soundscape) had a huge energy shift on me and still does . I was 13 now about to turn 50. My remarkable journey is still available, never imprisoned, mortgage free, and most importantly learning and aware that my thoughts & focus where I place my energy. Work to have a lifestyle.

Ive been to Bells in Australia, shame they didn't use it. Amazing tourist spot. But a great ending to the film anyway, what a classic.
