Good job man, i had a fiat 500 window come out of the track and when i opened the door i found out the clip was broken and whoever had the car before tried gluing it -_-, had to fix it myself and then fix the track inside the door which broke from the screw holding it in place, if you guys have a window come out of the track open the door panel and check if the track is not broken or loose it will save u the 3 hours it took me to find it! cute bonus video :D
Good job on fixing just the broken part instead of the entire assembly. I did the exact same thing on mine. It is exactly like you said a very poor design.
How did you get the cables wrapped around the pulleys properly? I seem to always need another quarter inch of play to get everything to fit back together

It was a poorly made video...essentially, when you wrap it around the pulley, you can only go so far. Start with each end of the cable at the opening end of the pulley. The cable will meet in the middle in opposite direction. The cable will only tighten when you place the pulley in its original slot. Hope this works...good job for trying to FIX it yourself...
Bro you helped me out my 2012 fiat 500c has same problem! Did you adjust wire by hand first or did you connect window sensor to adjust it? You also seem inspirational in this video!
When you removed window track in your other video how did you get the window to stay up?

I used a piece of carboard and stucked it along the side of the window or you can always use a piece of wood inside the door to support the glass while it is upward...
How did you wire it back up ? You said you watched a video. What video

No, I meant I rewatched my recording to remind me how it was prior to disassembling it....sorry for the confusion. Rewiring it can be very cumbersome...
You should not be making TH-cam videos... you skipped all the important steps and then you trying to explain how you did it. Thanks for trying anyway

I had hard time rewiring it correctly. The third time I finally got right, but off camera. Read my replys...if you persist, you will succeed just as I did. I had never done this kind of repair before....sorry.
Well done with the window clip. Those kids are happy that is nice to see them having fun god bless.

I had to adjust by hand first...you got it.
Nice video you failed to supl part number for the clip .please provide thank you
The clip for mine is not broken, but pops off the window if i roll the window too high . Like a spring.
I would use zip ties to firmly attach the glass to the regulator...
@ this is what I ended up doing

@ thank you!
What size torx bit did you use to get cable loose on the window track?
I use brand name Pittsburgh T130 from Harbor freight. I have the whole set. U might consider buying them all if u are keeping your Fiat.
@ t30 is too small and t40 is to big. I ended up getting t35 and it works
