The plastic clip will fail and fail, i won't buy another clip ever again. Through the broken clip and through the hole in the glass that the clip go's into, just thread a strong zip tie or three to hold the glass to the broken clip. They might last a year, they might last two ? but a lot cheaper than buying clips.
