I would suggest taking out the 3 screws where the black covering is by the window, don’t force the glass in place bc you could damage the glass and the rubber tread and your clip. Do it the easy way (: but great video aside from that! Most people don’t know about the 3 hidden screws, but makes the job safer and easier.
No, actually you lower the window and linsrt the clip into the guide from the bottom of the track inside the door. Forcing it in is the wrong way to do it but you got lucky.
Looks like you used a lot of force. Lucky you didn't break the glass. I think there must be a less brutal way to get that in. Possibly by removing the guide? Thanks.
The glass is very strong. It does not break easily because I dropped it 3 times inside the door frame without breaking it. Also you have to use some force because the aftermarket clip did not want to go in without a fight. Thanks for watching.
Fantastic video, just what I needed to help me with the same issue
I have watched a bunch of videos on this repair. Yours is the best!!!

Where are the screws? I broke my clip trying to install it pushing it in. I have to order another one.
I suggest you don’t USE WD-40 OR 4:27 GREASE! LOL. === 😂. VASELINE IS BETTER. NO SMELLS. J/S. 😂
@@edmalts or silicone spray
If your glass is aftermarket, it likely wont have a hole for that window glide pin. You will need to glue it to the glass.
Thank you this was helpful
I have the same problem thx you
Thank you!!! For the advice
Thank you. You have the day...

You are correct
Thanks
Use silicone lubricant instead of wd40
How did you remove the old clip?
Sorry for the delay, I used a screwdriver and a piece of iron with a hook to force it out.
