I was going to buy your cookbook until it was $110 :( that's kinda insane... I was expecting like $30-45. And it's not even a hardbound book, it's an e-book. Please reconsider.
I rewatched this like a few times, Where does the beef broth come in?
I made the wings and the sauce for me and my girlfriend earlier this week. She said it was one of the best home-cooked recipes she has eaten
The best way to cut between the chicken wing is to "invert" the joint so it pops out. Then it's very clear where to cut without hitting the bone.
Even easier and safer to do with a good pair of kitchen sheers
Made the sauce and wings tonight. Started at the start of the Eagles game and was eating at the start of the 3rd. It is VERY good! I still have a little cleanup, but if you are used to this recipe, Im confident you could clean everything except the air fryer before finishing the meal
Can't wait for cookie stuff/ any baked sweet: hopefully brownie return, cookie, carrot cake etc, take your time though.
Been waiting for a brownie recipe for years!
I’ve been waiting on a cookie recipe for my whole life
Great video! To make this even more lower-calorie, you can use Kenji's trick for oven baked crispy wings and layer the wings with a mixture of salt and baking powder and fridge them. They will dry out the skin considerably and will come out incredible in the air fryer.
I'm a newcomer here currently at 37% body fat following your 1,000 calories a day, 3rd day in and really hope this works
Only 1k cals a day or do you mean 1k deficit per day? Hopefully the latter which puts you close to 2lbs loss per week. I would caution about doing this for too long though.
Looks good. Makes me consider getting my air fryer out of the cupboard
Looks great. Can you walk through how you got the calories for the wings? I feel like my chicken wing calorie numbers are always way higher than what I see online?
the sauce. the sauce. THE SAUCE.
have you tried baking powder instead of flour/corn starch? they still get pretty crispy!
I would like more recipes without weird ingredients, as I have stopped dieting and I just want some good recipes that don't require ordering ingredients from online
I think you'd be more suited to a regular recipe channel.
Kitchen shears for the cut bro!
One day I'll remember to use those for something other than opening packages...
You should do a "sauce" video that we can implement into different recipes. You got this one, could do buffalo, bbq, pizza sauce, etc.
look at his last video
@@shcrimps I saw that after i posted this. Still more sauces tho.
BBQ
Ranch
etc.
IM talkin about a sauce video that brings them all out under one video.
I think I'm gonna make these wings with crispy garlic parm green beans.
What else can I use other than trifling mayo
Does your book also only contains these american measures?
LETS GET IT!
Bro can you please make a waffle recipe I know you'd make a good one
Which Weldon farm sauces taste like chik fil a sauces
Alright shit, this looks too good
How did you add the calories for just the wings raw
💪💪💪 Wing time baybeeeee
How are you estimating the macros for the chicken itself with the bones still in there?
when you look at a package it is including the bone into the weight of a serving. What you see in the macros is the actual edible part. Which is why he only uses 6 per meal because chicken wings have a lot of fat on them.
@@libertybelllocks7476 no it isn't. Serving size for chicken is almost universally 4oz (or if it's pre-cooked like a rotisserie chicken, 3 oz.) and that's only referring to the edible part. It never includes the bones in the weight of a serving. And weight per wing can very massively which is why I was curious how he was estmating the weight and marcos of 6 wings without de-boning them.
@@M4570DON it includes the weight of the bone nimrod. Ive looked into it for tracking. But you do you inch worm. OVer here talkin about "well typically" chicken wings dont go by the "typical" because of the bone. Not EVERYTHING follows the same rules. You are low iq.
Yeah I'm a bit perplexed on the macros for this as well because everything I see for chicken wings, bone in, and skin on run about 14g fat for 16g protein or 13g fat for 17g protein or around that etc etc. So I'm not sure how it's ending up with that much protein per serving, with the fat so low, I realize the added cheese, and other ingredients. I mean perhaps I'm missing something, I know that the yogurt will add a bit more. But the numbers still feel off to me somehow.
Baldness says “like” @3:45
When are you going to switch to a different salt 😭 also don’t forget to use pastured egg whites and make a wet batter and spray with oil trust me you will get crunchy wings I’d say 355-360 degrees 20 mins total the last few minutes you can turn up the heat for a darker color. With the fries I’d par boil them 50 percent cooked then toss in oil and air fry 355 degrees
whats wrong with his salt?
I don’t think this works good as meal prep because the fries never taste the same when reheated and the wings will be soggy but it’s a good week night meal
Yes, they both actually taste better when reheated in the airfryer tbh. 11/10
I don’t like chicken skin
Then don’t eat wings 🤷🏽♂️.
@@aaronbailey23 I love boneless wings
@@keptleroymg6877 oh yeah me too
@aaronbailey9454 this is your son? How did you make a girl have your baby? I have never talked to a girl
Really nothing healthy or fat-loss about this recipe...
Weight loss comes from a caloric deficit. This has ~600 calories. A comparable wing and fry meal from a large wing chain would run upwards of 950 calories. Eating this instead of said comparable meal and maintaining other daily calories would remove 350 calories from your diet.
One of the factors of losing fat instead of muscle is a higher protein intake. This has high protein. This will encourage fat loss over lean tissue loss.
39.6% of adults in the United States are obese. Suffering from obesity has a negative impact on a multitude of health factors. Going from obese to no longer obese, all else equal, generally makes people healthier.
How is it not? Its chicken and potatoes. Lmao, nothing unhealthy about it.
I can make everything homemade and in its simplest form and someone still says its not healthy and can’t be used for weight loss.
Go figure.
looks good but unfortunately the most important ingredient (1 cup wingstop ranch) is something you can’t really make macro friendly 😩
