I bought what comes after because of you. Thanks. I have found another part of myself in my 40's that I didn't know existed. I always had to be the tough guy, army vet. But I'm finally getting to know myself and I really don't care what people think.

Thank you so much! Thanks for just doing the numbers too, that's brilliant. I obvs want people to be surprised with the games still, but the number is such a great idea! And thank you so much for the kind words :)
If you loved Life is Strange: True Colors, I highly recommend checking out the rest of the series! My favorite still has to be the first game. It’s so cozy, the soundtrack is amazing - it’s just an amazing series all around. 💗
You may enjoy Gone Home. It explores similar themes - you return home from college to an empty house. As you explore, you find clues about where your parents and sibling are and what's been going on in their lives. Beyond the great, non-linear story, the exploration of character through mix tapes is great, including some amazing underground music from the era.
There are so many good games on this list but I'm so glad you included What Remain of Edith Finch. I feel like it's underrated for how good it is, I played it through in one sitting because I couldn't put it down!
"Haven Park" is a cozy game too with some emotional content. It's a management type game where you need to fix your grandma's park. Mechanics are actually easy to learn and can be finished in 24-28 hrs (in my experience). It's also fun to be able to build new stuff to keep your campers happy.
Just got here- but the comments are highlighting some of my favorite games. Firewatch was the best gaming experience i’ve had and set me towards finding the right style of games
To The Moon is one of my favourite games of all time, the soundtrack on top of the story made me cry endlessly. You should really play it - I can't recommend it enough! Also I heard there was a sequel called Finding Paradise but I'd need to try that too.
this is a great channel, in a age of high spec graphics and first person shooters and action packed multiplayer people sometimes forget that games can also be for just relaxing and being cozy! Well done kat ;)
**furiously but also cozily takes notes on all the games** hehe thanks for all the recommendations!! There's so many good titles here! I really wanna try Firewatch, A Short Hike and also Old Mans Journey!?? The artwork looks amazing!!
My short Review of A Short Hike: 10/10 would cry to this soundtrack again. Context: I played A Short Hike late last year and got the ost off of Bandcamp a few days ago. A couple days ago I was listening to this soundtrack in my siblings' car via bluetooth while we were eating Ice Cream the day before my birthday and I was talking about how happy this game made me when I first played it and how it's been even better the second time around when I'm in a much better place mentally. After he told me why he thought that was, I literally cried in the car because he was right about how much better my life is now. I actually bawled.
I really enjoyed cozy games like this one. I finished Unpacking, currently playing Short Hike and What Remains of Edith Finch still waiting to be play. Thank you for sharing this one. What Comes After would probably on my next list.
What remains of Edith finch is such an underrated game!! I absolutely loved it to a point I played it in one sit through. Such a great video filled with so many beautiful looking games I'm definitely yet to play firewatch!
To the moon and the rest of the games in the series are all beautiful! Definitely highly recommend playing ALL the games in the series as the story develops through the games.
I would recommend Shelter 2! Though it isn’t exactly story-based, it’s a game that definitely brought be to tears. The game has two sections and you can play as a mother or baby lynx. Playing as the mother lynx shows you the hardships of parenting, while playing as the baby lynx shows you the beauty of loss and friendship. Definitely would recommend this game to others, I also love the games you showed here!
i recently got a switch and have been looking for some casual games to play that aren’t really action based and all of these are perfect! just subscribed:))))
me having 90% of these games in my wishlist. My favorite so far has been Night in the Woods. I’m looking forward to playing Life is Strange next. Appreciate the vid!
Thank you for this list, I’m currently playing through Spiritfarer and know I am going to be so bereft when it’s completed and in need of a new emotional game. I have To The Moon but not really played it much, will have to get back into it.
The To The Moon soundtrack remains stuck in my head months after playing it! And thinking about it gives goosebumps...simply a beautiful stunning game. Can't wait to play the sequel - but it's not on switch yet :( so had to buy it on steam! Anyway if you haven't yet go play to the Moon!!
That's an excellent list! I love every game you mentioned. If I may add some as well, it's Child of Light and Gris. They're very emotional and beautiful looking ❤️
I play cozy games no matter what the season. I don't really do well with intense, high energy games, so I like the slow paced ones! Obviously still playing ACNH. I purchased Unpacking, and love it. A Short Hike is in my wish list, as well as Road 96, and one you didn't mention called Florence. Also, I think I might need to look into Night in The Woods!
Highly HIGHLY recommend Oxenfree and Kentucky Route Zero. Oxenfree gave me the same feels as A Night in the Woods but honestly done better (imo.) If you have a sibling, specifically one close in age (my brother is the same age difference as Alex, the protagonist, so it hit incredibly hard) it really will stick with. Kentucky Route Zero is simply a beautiful, weird as hell masterpiece. I don’t think I’ve ever seen vague and weird done so poignantly. I have 3 other friends who’ve also played it and each of us took a really. deep, but different meaning from it, and every take is valid. The music in Kentucky Route Zero is some of the best in gaming too.
I really like your vibe. Your audio is a bit peaky tho, it aint that bad cuz u got a soft voice. Also cozy is like the perfect word to describe these types of games
Yeah like I said at the beginning of the video, I was at home without my usual setup! You'll see it's much better with my normal setup in my other videos :)
Yeah as I mentioned in the intro, the list was heavily inspired by Spriritfarer and Coffee Talk! I've mentioned both in other videos, so wanted to highlight new ones :)
Not the most story-driven, but I hope you're aware of the game Journey, it's pretty special. It's better played blind, and there is a little luck involved in getting a really amazing experience, but there's nothing else quite like it.
i’m really sad because i’ve never found anything i’ve liked as much as oxenfree and firewatch edit: i just finished playing walking dead s1 and it’s really good and really sad but i found a new favorite :)
Lots of downtime in it so I would still qualify it as cozy! I've talked about this in other videos, but I usually think of cozy as a vibe rather than a genre - good music, beautiful environments, and heavy dialogue usually does that for me 😊
Just stumbled across your channel I love cozy games and rpg games I’ve been into animal crossing, yonder the cloud catcher chronicles & final fantasy x/x-2 hd remastered Really wanna check out coffee talk 💕
I bought what comes after because of you. Thanks. I have found another part of myself in my 40's that I didn't know existed. I always had to be the tough guy, army vet. But I'm finally getting to know myself and I really don't care what people think.
That is possibly the sweetest comment I have every received, so very glad you found a game you loved! Welcome to the cozy gaming community ♥
thanks for your service hope you find peace

I’ve heard it’s really good! I got the deluxe pack of True Colours that comes with all the previous games, so defs need to play
Yes so far I only played life is strange and before the storm I haven’t played true colors but it’s on my list
Night in the woods was absolutely amazing- I truly fell in love with the characters
it's sooo cute and incredible
Same! I'm hoping they come out with a part 2 eventually!
I'm kinda stuck on the PC game in the game ;p
You may enjoy Gone Home. It explores similar themes - you return home from college to an empty house. As you explore, you find clues about where your parents and sibling are and what's been going on in their lives.

Okay right?! Literally same, I played the whole thing on a plane ride because it’s soooo addicting
Night in the Woods is literally my favorite game of all time.
Honestly it's so underrated, the story is SO good, I feel like it should be required playing haha
"Haven Park" is a cozy game too with some emotional content. It's a management type game where you need to fix your grandma's park. Mechanics are actually easy to learn and can be finished in 24-28 hrs (in my experience). It's also fun to be able to build new stuff to keep your campers happy.
Ooh yes I’ve heard good things about this one! Will definitely check it out ❤️
Just got here- but the comments are highlighting some of my favorite games. Firewatch was the best gaming experience i’ve had and set me towards finding the right style of games
Awe that’s so nice to hear!! I feel like these types of games are criminally underrated
You are one of the first I have seen recommend Firewatch! It’s GREAT! I’ve played through it on two separate consoles. It’s AMAZING!
omg so glad you like it!!! I’ve been recommended it so much and it looks sooo pretty 😍
To The Moon is one of my favourite games of all time, the soundtrack on top of the story made me cry endlessly. You should really play it - I can't recommend it enough! Also I heard there was a sequel called Finding Paradise but I'd need to try that too.
Yes I’ve watched a few friends play it and it looks sooooo pretty, need to play it myself soon ❤️❤️❤️
this is a great channel, in a age of high spec graphics and first person shooters and action packed multiplayer people sometimes forget that games can also be for just relaxing and being cozy!
Well done kat ;)
Awe thank you so much! That's so very kind, I really appreciate it ♥
I loved old man’s journey and unpacking. I am going to check out a few on your list. I now have them on my wishlist. Thanks!
So glad you liked the list!
i’m pretty new to gaming but oxenfree and the gardens between are a couple i loved. i love these types of games, i noted every one down x
Awe so glad you found some you liked!
**furiously but also cozily takes notes on all the games** hehe thanks for all the recommendations!! There's so many good titles here! I really wanna try Firewatch, A Short Hike and also Old Mans Journey!?? The artwork looks amazing!!
'furiously but cozily' is such a vibe 😂 and yay! glad you found some you like! A Short Hike was such a special experience, I'd really recommend it
Luna Theme in the background made me so happy, the amount of memories i have with Mario Galaxy is crazy, the best mario game no question 🥲
awe so glad you liked it 🥰

Ooh yes these are all such good games! I think Unpacking is one of my fave games of the last few years
What remains of Edith finch is such an underrated game!! I absolutely loved it to a point I played it in one sit through. Such a great video filled with so many beautiful looking games I'm definitely yet to play firewatch!
literally same!!! it was just so hard to put down 😭 and thank you so much! Glad you found some games ❤️
To the moon broke my heart, its just... AMAZING
It’s next on my list for sure, it just looks so beautiful ❤️
To the moon and the rest of the games in the series are all beautiful! Definitely highly recommend playing ALL the games in the series as the story develops through the games.
Oh wow I didn't even realise there were more in the series!! Will definitely check them out
Couldn’t put my finger on why your video felt soo nostalgic, and melancholic.
Yeah, it was Tifa’s Theme!
Awesome recommendations by the way!
Awe I'm glad you recognized it! Love a cheeky Gamechops song for the videos
I‘ve always loved story driven games so this is definitely helping me pick out some new games 💗
Ah so glad to hear it!
I would recommend Shelter 2! Though it isn’t exactly story-based, it’s a game that definitely brought be to tears.

Ah that sounds so good! And yeah definitely emotional, thanks for the rec
Is it on switch? I can’t find it in store
@@abbeywilliams1599 Yes it is! Just search up “Shelter”
i recently got a switch and have been looking for some casual games to play that aren’t really action based and all of these are perfect!
just subscribed:))))
Ah welcome in! So glad you like the video
I recently played GRIS for the first time and it's a masterpiece! Totally recommend. The music and art>>>>
I've been meaning to play GRIS! I was a bit worried it'd be too hard for me as I'm not great as platformers, but it does look soooo pretty
Your voice is just so beautiful and relaxing 😌 thank you for the recommendation of What Remains of Edith Finch. Absolutely loved it xx
Omygosh thank you so much! 🥺 So glad you liked Edith Finch!!!
me having 90% of these games in my wishlist. My favorite so far has been Night in the Woods. I’m looking forward to playing Life is Strange next. Appreciate the vid!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes these kinds of games haha!
Thank you for this list, I’m currently playing through Spiritfarer and know I am going to be so bereft when it’s completed and in need of a new emotional game. I have To The Moon but not really played it much, will have to get back into it.
Awe glad you found games to play! This was exactly why I sought out games like this, as I finished Spiritfarer and needed more like it!

Just discovered your channel from this! Cozy gaming is so important.
so true 🥰
I forgot about firewatch. Im gonna play it again omg i played it like 2 or 3 years ago and it was amazing
Thank you so much! I've been looking for this 🥺
glad you like the video 🥰
I'm getting a Switch this weekend, and these type of games look amazing. Subscribed!
Welcome aboard! Thank you so much
That's an excellent list! I love every game you mentioned. If I may add some as well, it's Child of Light and Gris. They're very emotional and beautiful looking ❤️
Ooh yes I need to try both!
these are such great game recommendations!! The ultimate "make me cry" games 💕💕
Like most of my videos, I think half of them are recommendations you gave me, so thank you em 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I play cozy games no matter what the season. I don't really do well with intense, high energy games, so I like the slow paced ones! Obviously still playing ACNH. I purchased Unpacking, and love it. Completely agree!!! Will definitely need to check out Florence, it looks beautiful ❤
the lonely old man trope gets me right in the feels too
so glad i’m not the only one 😂
What a great video! All these games look amazing, I’ll try them all eventually
Thank you so much
Highly HIGHLY recommend Oxenfree and Kentucky Route Zero. Oxenfree gave me the same feels as A Night in the Woods but honestly done better (imo.) Yes completely agree with both! Recently played Oxenfree on stream, can't wait to play the sequel!
After wathcing this I bought to the moon and then finding paradise (same creators) thank you 💙
So glad you liked them
I just finished „night in the woods“ and I already miss Mae :/
But I will definitely look into „what comes after“
Me too! I hope they make more games similar to it, maybe even a sequel could be cute
I really like your vibe. Your audio is a bit peaky tho, it aint that bad cuz u got a soft voice. Also cozy is like the perfect word to describe these types of games

@@CozyGamerKat Ohhh I’m sorry lol! I usually skip the intros in videos so I didn’t notice haha. Thank you for replying, great video ♥️
Of course! Glad you enjoyed it
Thankyou for the recommendations!! Really made my weekend lol. Have you played the longest road on earth? I really enjoyed that game.
Awe thank you so much! That’s so sweet of you ❤️ I haven’t! I’ll have to check it out!!!
Loved your outfit, you are absolutely adorable!
Awe thank you so much!
I came here to recommend To The Moon but it's already on the list! :D
Hahaha yeah it honestly fits the category way too well 😅
Not the most story-driven, but I hope you're aware of the game Journey, it's pretty special. It's better played blind, and there is a little luck involved in getting a really amazing experience, but there's nothing else quite like it.
It’s been in my backlog for soooo long, I need to play it ASAP
Where can I get those games I'm thinking on buying a Nintendo switch lite. If there free that would be great but I doubt it
You can find them all on the Nintendo eShop!
Haven is good too!
Ooh I haven't played that one! Will check it out!
i’m really sad because i’ve never found anything i’ve liked as much as oxenfree and firewatch
edit: i just finished playing walking dead s1 and it’s really good and really sad but i found a new favorite :)
Ooh I NEED to play oxenfree ASAP!
@@CozyGamerKat the story & style are amazing, but the loading times between scenes are so long that it can be off putting :(
