i'm excited for basically everything that was shown at the e3 wholesome games direct! particularly interested in yokai inn, garden story, (both cute pixel art sim games) and paralives (which is like build mode in the sims but with so much more customisation!)
I recommend "Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles" I'd describe it as a soft rpg with cozy vibes. It focuses on exploration and helping NPCs while discovering secrets. It doesn't feel like a farming sim to me, you act more like a gardener with some animals, but I love the gameplay and soundtrack for just a chill experience.
i recommend the game “unpacking”! i’m not sure until when the demo will be up on steam but it’s such a chill game where you unbox your stuff after moving in! the pixel art and music are amazing. it’s such a great game to destress especially if you love organizing stuff! from what i read it’s coming on both pc and switch, and it’s releasing later this year :)
A game I believe you will love is SHAPE of the world (2018). It's a walking simulator/ chill puzzle/ exploring game. I love the art style, and the music is INSANELY good. From your list, the game I'm most excited for is HOA... it looks truly amazing. Also I think I'll try to install the Little Witch in The Woods demo on my PC!
i just found your channel and i love your videos! a game i have loved for years is 'oneshot'. it follows niko, a little kid who wakes up in an unfamiliar world that they need to save in order to go home again. its really unique in that it acknowledges your presence as a player in the story (niko is told there is someone watching over them, niko talks to you throughout the game and there are even messages specifically for you, the player, that niko, the character, doesn't understand). the art, great. the story, great. the characters, great. its only on pc atm (as far as im aware), but if it ever comes to switch you should definitely check it out!
I just watched your first chill Nintendo switch games you like, and it was so relaxing and everything about it was perfect, I now have so many games on my wishlist, and I'm so excited to get my switch for these calm games!
I think you would love the game "The Last Campfire". I came across it today and just might pick it up. It's graphics look so adorable and cozy and are paired with deep and profound storytelling. 🥰
omg I loved this! Another game I think you would be excited for is Witchbrook! It’s still in its early stages but I feel like it’ll be a great, cozy game. ❤️
Get rune factory 4! I've played every game in the series and they are so worth their price tag. There is so much content and variety. The games are gorgeous too. I guarantee you'll love it :)
Suggestions: Calico You move to a new town, with a bunch of people. You need to complete quests for them, to earn designs for your hair and clothes. As you carry on, you find more animals that you can invite to your cafe that you inherited from your aunt who moved away, you unlock new areas, and potions as you go to customise your experience. (: Townscaper: You get an island, with only 2 building and a little bit of land. You getti build your own town. It is completely free to build, but extremely relaxing to just build! Love Colours: A very cute colour by numbers game, that you can spend hours just relaxing on! You pick a photo, and just start colouring it in, with very satisfying music and adorable pictures! Thats all i can think of for now 🍰🍡
i just got yonder yesterday and its so fun! its very relaxing but still has a lot to do and explore. theres a lot of different guilds to join and its really fun! so many ways to play
HIGHLY recommend Yonder: Cloud Catcher Chronicles! LOVE it! It's mainly about exploration and helping the NPCs to ultimately help yourself and save the island, but also includes farming, collecting, crafting, and is just such a chill, fun game! Been LOVING it so far!
I have not played a rune factory game as well. I decided to wait for the fifth one to come out. There are so many other cozy game available or that are about to come out this summer (such as garden story or monster harvest among many others), that I don't think the wait will be long! And the difference in graphism between the forth and fifth game is huge! so I think the wait will be worth it!
honestly, i think you should play the fourth game since it's the first entry in the series with a female gender option. I've been playing it since I was 10 and it never gets old to me. the bachelors are extremely well-written and the characters are more fleshed out than any of the previous games in the series. and I'm still finding new mechanics every day too. there do not seem to be many similarities between RF5 and RF4 but maybe that's just me-
@@ryuuseirune question, is the storyline any different? For rune factory 4 vs rune factory 5. (I haven't played any of the rune factory games either 😅)
@@meiakemi8973 Yes, the story line is different. In rune factory 5 you would play as a ranger but in rune factory 4 you play as a prince/princess in the town of Selphia!

i got little witch in the woods on my laptop today! definitely recommend! its so cute but definitely play it at first when you have quite a bit of time since i was only able to manually save it a bit further on into the game :)
You should definitely get rune factory 4, it's awesome. Especially since they're porting it everywhere this fall. There will be things you can unlock in rf5 with your rf4 save file, mostly clothing.
YES! This game is really good and have a calm vibe (only a few areas are a bit tricky/ eerie). I've played it some years ago, can't wait to finally play it on a console. I heard there are new hidden areas for Switch players!

Omg yes I cannot stress enough how much you all should get yonder! I bought it about 3 years ago on PlayStation and I always go back to it, it’s so relaxing and fun to play :)
Oh i wasn't expecting to see coral island! I pledged on the kickstarted and I'm in alpha! It's pretty cute, i can't help until it's available on switch.
Hello, the game hoa is probably pronounced as 1 syllable. I couldn’t find the developers saying the name but since the company is based in Vietnamese the 1 syllable pronunciation is likely. Hoa means flower Vietnamese. Anyways liked the video I’m also excited for all these games!
I definitely recommend picking up Rune Factory 4 if you haven’t yet. When it first released for 3DS, it quickly became my favorite 3DS game. In fact, I loved it so much so, that, when it released on switch, not only did I repurchase the game, but the archival edition.
Ooh, forgot to say that "Letters" reminds me of "Lost Words," which is another chill game with a super moving story that you should definitely check out if you haven't. It's also really cool that the story was written by the late, great Terry Pratchett's daughter. :-)
I dont know if you've talked about this game already, but I recently bought a game called Earthlock on the Switch, and I think you would really like it!! You might also really like Child of Light! Loving all your videos about cozy games~
Great list - thanks! I'll have to keep my eyes out for these. Oh, and yes - definitely play Yonder. It is so chill and beautiful and fun and just... amazing. One of the better chill games on Switch, to be sure.

I can’t wait for Botw 2! I know people don’t think it’s a cozy game because of the fighting, but I love exploring the mountains, running thru a field of flowers, flying above a lake or cooking under a big tree! And in botw there will be floating islands, I’ll be able to glide from island to island looking for new adventures. No game gives me more comfort than botw. I can’t wait!
