I felt so bad to say that i played videogames growing up (i am 25 now, just for context), ‘cause i am a women and I’m not that up to date to games, so people never took me seriously just because I love Mario Galaxy (and apparently its a kid’s game).

I feel the same way you feel, I'm just getting back into gaming, because of the farming games like Animal Crossing and then it just sky rocketed from there. I just started playing stardew valley, harvest moon light of hope, and story of seasons. At first I thought I was to old to be playing video games again , but afterward I didn't care anymore because it was fun and very relaxing

You must play Va-11 Hall-a !!!! It'a about a 20 something year old girl named Jill who is a bartender in a dystopian future society!! You make drinks for the many characters that come into your bar while also making sure you get paid enough to pay your rent on time. It's extremely cozy (the game literally suggests that you get a warm drink or snack before you play) and I highly recommend it! It can be very funny and very emotional and it's in my top five favorite games :o)

Super Mario Odyssey is great! Especially the moon level- GORGEOUS. We've def come a long way in game design and graphics. If you're a fan of Mario games, you will definitely love it. Even if you haven't played any Mario games, highly recommend this!

if anyone needs another game, sky:children of the light is my ultimate cozy game (on mobile but coming to switch soon) and oof its just running around and mainly focuses on creating friendships. The music and sights in the game *chefs kiss*
Omg i loved children of light!!! Even after i beat the game I still had fun carrying beginners through the harder sections. the friendships you form are literally so wholesome like you're just random people who get together to achieve a common goal and play a game no matter who or where in the world you are.

If anyone hasn’t tried it, cattails is a really amazing and relaxing game. It’s currently on sale! A little over a dollar or something. You play an abandoned cat, become a part of a cat clan, raise kittens, mine, grow plants etc. it’s like stardew valley, but cats. Just really wholesome ❤️

The mobile version of barbarous tavern, welcome to Primrose lake, and it's sequel are all game house games so that's not surprising. I totally recommend the company and subscribed because I'm addicted to several especially the new arcane academy. Julie's sweet shop is another good story time management game on switch.

yess i love stardew valley. i actually first started it when i was in a slump and i wasn’t in the best place mentally and as crazy as it sounds it really helped motivate me :)
Stardew has gotten me through many a slump, so I relate to this 100%!
Oh my goodness the game “the last campfire” is sooo beautiful, it relates to like letting go, hope, and depression. Its super cute and its like a puzzle adventure game. I fully recommend.
