Wow the quality of this video is great. Your workout plan definitely gives the best balance of aesthetic and functionality. Also your home is movie scene nice, it's a mix of minimalism and something from iron man
Hi, Winsty! Watching all the way from the Philippines. Can you share your diet? How do you make sure you are fueled and not exceeding to maintain your desired weight? Thank you in advance!
I am using the wahoo kickr v5 and I like that it is quiet and doesn’t need regular calibration. Easy to use. If you want a much cheaper option you can go for Zwift Hub which I have not personally tried but I hear is very good. Highly recommend direct drive rather than wheel-on, regardless of whichever you decide to choose
also, for someone whos just trying to get into indoor cycling/training, do you have any recommendations for indoor trainers? i live in a HDB so i was wondering if it would be too loud for indoor training?
My wahoo (V5) is pretty quiet as long as you maintain your drivetrain decently. The turbo itself is silent, most of the sound comes from the drivetrain. I’d say it’s a safe bet
honestly, if you want more power output when you ride, the single best thing you could do is shed weight & muscle. Not bulk up. Tall and slender is what you should strive for. All the best!
lol. an aesthetically pleasing upper body is way more functional than 10watts of saving up a climb. You'll actually be impressing members of the opposite sex as opposed to malnourished males in lycra. Hes going for a cycling trip in spain, not trying to win a tour de france mountain stage. Think he'll be fine.
hey, it's a little rude but your squat form is kind of dangerous and can hurt your back on the bike later on. your lower back is rounding hard and will eventually cause a disc injury, make sure check your form
I am aware of it but it might just be my own biomechanics because it happens even on empty bar and it's been like this for years so I figure as long as I don't go too heavy (and also I only train legs in phases)
It does hahaha but we take turns so I guess people are not likely to be squatting simultaneously face to face with each other that would be awkz for sure
your channel is easily my favourite cycling channel! great stuff man
Thanks! Glad you enjoy it

Hello, for your zwift training do you create a custom workout for a 2hr Z2 ride?
Yes it is a custom workout but quite simple to create :)
@@thewinsty thanks for sharing! Keep up the good videos!
@@thewinsty all the 40min zone 2... are the same cadence or any different??
Hi for your 2hr zone 2 what are the parameters u try to keep?
Usually just 55-75% FTP, lower end if I am tired, higher end if feeling good. If in doubt I would rather err on the lower side than higher

I would only end up short and slender because I can’t control my height 😢
Do not listen to that guy. The amount of unsolicited advice on here is super cringe.
@@duenorth3809 I would like to know your opinion on why the best cyclist are also very lean with no bulky muscle...
