    A great way to discern a man's character is to look at how he treats and talks to waiters and people in the service industry. I dated a man who was so rude to waiters, would talk to them like they were stupid. I broke up with him after that, don't want to deal with a guy like that.

    I feel like the question, “Why do you want to be in a relationship with me?” could come off kinda intimidating, but yes love this topic and think it’s super important to know where each other is at on the big life issues and get a feel for each other’s intentions. Our first date was full of deep questions!

    It's great to ask questions and these questions are obviously great. However, after asking the questions, then you need to observe, watch and study them. I believe asking others too is very useful. The truth is some people can lie! If they've hung around Christians long enough, they can figure out the right things to say and toss them out when you ask. Being observant with these questions as a guideline is more useful I think. From your interaction with this person, seeing how they actually act and do the things they say they do is far more revealing.

    Can you please talk about something other than men and relationships? Gosh, why is your channel so focused on men when it's called girl defined? Is your life defined by men and relationships with them? Ugh there is so much more to being a godly woman than just getting married and popping out babies.

    • @janiejackson234
      @janiejackson234 6 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      SageMacBunny they have videos about single life and living a fulfilling and holy life being single :) also I’m sure they get a lot of questions about these kinds of things about love and relationships!

    • @Kayla_Armanii
      @Kayla_Armanii 6 ปีที่แล้ว +44

      SageMacBunny If you're looking for channels which talk about godly womanhood in more general terms, I would strongly recommend the following channels:

      -Jordan Lee Dooley
      -James & Lea D - Philia Ministries
      -Emily Wilson

    Some great tips in this video. Personally I think its important to get to know someone on more of a friend basis and ask some of these questions before stepping into an intentional dating relationship because you might find that when you are in the relationship you're intentional and hoping that it works out you may be blinded by red flags or differences that may come up throughout asking these questions. Just my thoughts :)
    EDIT: I got to know my now husband as a friend first and we asked alot of these questions on our first "date" but did not become exclusive or bf/gf until we had asked deep questions as friends pursuing the possibility of a future relationship just to keep our minds clearer so it wouldn't be so devastating if we had to go separate ways :)

    • @bellacortez

      Alex miller this gets tricky.because your bible believing spirit led christian would say they are demonic attacks. Your religious person would say there is something wrong with your brain.

    Could you guys make a video on when your church doesn't stand up for you and help you in times of need? We just left our church, because of a very serious situation involving the pastor not not "shepherding his flock". I want to know your thoughts on this. I feel myself backsliding, since we aren't going to church currently. Thanks for all of your amazing videos!

    Great video, I keep watching your dating advice for when I’m ready to date and I see that I may not be ready for a relationship. The thing is in today’s generation (well our generation) when asking someone closer to him or me can be insulting to one another or make one another feel like we don’t trust each other, so how exactly do we go about with “questions to ask those close to him” without coming across as insulting or projecting a lack of trust?
    Ps I ordered the book and I can’t wait to receive it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Does he understand the gospel? What makes you so sure you have the correct understanding? Fair enough if you want to know if you're on the same page but it's a little condescending to imply that he's not a genuine "Christ follower" if he doesn't understand the gospel in the same way you do...

    btw, I LOVE this video!

    • @stefaniemedina14
      @stefaniemedina14 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Depends. My husband and I are pretty opposite politically but we don't talk about politics so it doesn't affect us. If people like to debate and talk about politics it can be a problem. I know some couples who had lots of problems for months after this past election, because they were fighting about politics a lot.

But when I used the link in the description under OUR INFO (becaude the first link doesnt work!), I came to the site where I could buy it. But it was really different, like, green with flowers. Of course, I just want to make sure I've got the right version. The one you are holding has the questions and I do want those in it.
    Can you please tell me what to do? Is the green one a newer version or something? Or maybe the one your holding?

    A guy should never ask a girl how many kids she wants on a date

    I don't know why but you come across much more authentic and friendly when you talk to us alone. However, I think some of these questions would scare most people away, especially at the beginning of a relationship, when most of us try to be fun and do nice things and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, not debate about politics. just a thought...

      Bc it’s part of being obedient to Gods word . He knows what’s best for us . 2 Corinthians 6
      Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

    Disclaimer: Believers are preferable to be brough into a relationship. Unbelievers can have very skewed perspective ;)
