Jason I just took mine out of the box to test it, and needed someone to reassure me that the clickety-clack of its motor in operation is normal. Thanks! Never seent a Comuta-car before--congrats. Hope you got it running again.
Same feeling I had initially! Glad you found the video. It's a handy little machine, I use it a lot. Still working with no issues. The electric car was running again, but the controller went bad. I haven't replaced it, yet.
Man, y’all do things differently up north. Lol.
@@JasonWasdin Pizza for sure!!
Didn’t really expect that ratchet strap to hold, lol, but glad it did.
Hah! You and me both!! Not an advised way, but I made it work :)
I like that you showed the cable’s
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Quality content. Thanks to this I can load my Honda Grom with just a ramp!
Awesome man!! It's such a handy tool at a great price!! Thanks for watching!!
Baught one recently. It felled miserabley, quit working, wouldnt free wheel. Pull 1 foot and shut down. Had to wait 5 min each time to kick back in
Dang, sorry to hear. I still use this one. No major issues.
I appreciate this video. I couldn't find where someone had used flexible anchors for winch. Thanks.
Glad you found it and appreciate the comment!!
That's exactly what mine sounded like just now fresh out of the box. I'll be taking it back tomorrow.
I was told that's how they sound ....
THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO, I AM GOING TO GET ONE, TO PULL MY JON BOAT ON MY TRUCK RACK, 😎
Have fun and glad it was helpful!
It's a marine winch because it's made to pull boats on trailer instead of cranking
The primary application, absolutely!
Is that why it's got an adapter to hook on a ball?
Appreciate it brother nice rundown 💯
Thanks man!!! Appreciate it.
When you pull on a strap on an angle like that, you diminish the strength dramatically.
True
That's the locking mechanism that you'll find on most winches.
Interesting! I had a winch on an old tractor and don't recall it. Glad it's just a normal operating noise!
Very helpful. Thanks! Subscribed !
Thanks for the kind words!! Appreciate you subscribing! I use this winch a lot, great little gadget.
Do you need to keep the car running when operating the winch? Thanks!
No, it's hooked to the battery and will run without the car running. However, keeping the car running will ensure you don't pull the battery drain too much.
@@jamzdotnet Thanks!

How is it holding up? Did it quiet down?
I just took mine out of the box but thought you would show us WHERE AND HOW the control wire and power wire hooks to the darn winch. All it has is a hole in front and square hole in the rear.Oh well....
Thanks for watching. The power cable just plugs in. It has a protective covering you remove. The manual shows this as well, www.harborfreight.com/2000-lb-marine-electric-winch-64602.html?event_id=182713&campaignid=12236914015&adsetid=163074556235&product=64602&store=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwu8uyBhC6ARIsAKwBGpSME2Rvuo121RqW5AbPfarfSKkEneHwlYR0QNncBa_ZgXtixn0LQIoaAighEALw_wcB
