All I could tell was it was some software where the brush either has some smoothening effect or something like laxy nezumi. Though I may be waaaay off haha.
Wow. I am amazed. This here channel is what I needed. I felt a bit stuck in my learnings and art. Every drawing or painting I did took way to long to where I wanted it to be. But basically it boils down to figuring the puzzle as I went along. Constantly adjusting things. This helps me enormously. I am gonna focus on figuring out shapes first. And also try to loose detailing. Cuz my brain wants to do details apparently. Oh man! Thanks for giving us this channel.
i am not an artist, but recently someone explained this to me and i wanted to understand it better. this video helped a lot! thank you for demonstrating the concept so well!
Hmm is that golden ratio at all? Trying to count the area/pixels each part of Pikachu is more 2~2.5x the previous, not 1.618x Sounds pretty far away from the ratio
Thank you for this video Sinix. The Design Theory videos are my favorite, closely followed by Anatomy Quick Tips. I will often refer back to these videos when I feel my designs are struggling.
Repent and believe the gospel! Jesus died for our sins and rose 3 days later so we could be forgiven of our sins and be gifted with everlasting life! Put your faith in Him and follow Him! Life is short, think about this. Please make the right choice today!
I wish you had done more character designs examples ,I need more visual reference😭 but this was honestly great and I'm trying to apply this big medium small to my characters (tho I get a bit confused with it being a human and not a machine like in this video XD)

Hmm, I wonder about your design theory, you seem to be very design-theory oriented, which i quite like, but you also don't like 'guidelines', so isn't design theory a guideline/rule? How do you balance that?
this is often used when picking colors as well! usually by having a main color take up most space, then another color taking up about half that much, and then a third color for contrast
What a great video on making drawing more appealing. Simple and to the point. And most of all these guidelines really help push the design so much more than one usually thinks.
well, close near and far. Also in landscapes you need to give things a size. so you need a man made structure, or something that is always more or less the same size to give scale information to the scene
wow havent seen your videos in like 7 or 8 years. Theyre so great. You recommended the Force Mattesi book to me that really helped me with drawing. Do you have any other suggestions of that sort?
So where did you learn Design Theory? More specifically, where did you get the information you provided in your other design theory videos? I need something to spring off of because searching up just how to get started has never been more of a chore than before, and I know your videos aren't enough.

2:30 Proceeds to explain how the golden ratio is employed in good shape design - 2:33 "Here we have a picture of Pikachu "
Sinix? In Photoshop? What has the world come to?!
the end is near
Which software does he normally use?
All I could tell was it was some software where the brush either has some smoothening effect or something like laxy nezumi. Though I may be waaaay off haha.

I'm starting to get more into art again and I'm so happy I found your videos, never thought I could learn so much in 9 minutes. Thank you
Big medium small, the rule of thirds, the golden ratio. It happens so often in nature. I'm so glad more youtubers are teaching it.
This is still entertaining for non-artists. That pikachu-transformation is on point!
God, Sinix, when is the next design episode??? can't wait! So cool! Your design series is golden. It has that golden ratio!!
i didnt even know the golden ratio was an art thing! I only heard of it from reading jojo steel ball run lmaooo

Keinnan Lafferty aka KNKL has a good video on this subject too!
🤾♂️thanks 🤾♂️
I wish I had found this earlier. It makes a lot of sense and explains why my designs often feel bland.
This video is awesome😍😍. Please can you make a video on form language it will be great.🙏🙏🙏
Hmm is that golden ratio at all? Trying to count the area/pixels each part of Pikachu is more 2~2.5x the previous, not 1.618x
Sounds pretty far away from the ratio
Hm. You've given me a lot to think about

Now I want to fit everything in a cube! This will be marvellous…

3:32 when your sleep paralysis demon says hi to you
Really love your industrial drawings
Nice video. Could you do a part two, but focusing on using this principle for designing characters with realistic proportions??
Maybe you could try this with what the character wears or even how big or small their hair is.
Sorry im 5 years late😭😭
I know you won't answer my question but: how did you manage to have the square cursor at minute 4:03?
Thank you so much! Really clarified the idea in my head.
the red pikachu eyes really bring out his feisty-ness
6:17 did the ultrakill dev watch this video before making the revolver?
After four years of art school, and 3 years of highschool art class and I only learn this today...
What a great video on making drawing more appealing. Simple and to the point. And most of all these guidelines really help push the design so much more than one usually thinks.
