The bike is leaning since you are using your kickstand, are you sure you didn’t over fill?
I checked it afterwards with a buddy holding the bike upright. Thanks for the pro tip though
I just need to know if there is a special size filter, because I can't seem to get the new filter between the headers and the motor

Thanks for this! I just bought a 2012 S1000rr and am going to do an oil change. Just wanted to know if there is a way to reset the maintenance/service light?
AJ Mariano unfortunately the dealer needs to reset the indicator unless you have the software to do so.
yeah...been calling around and I'm getting quotes for $60 to reset it...or maybe I'll end up buying the $400 Diagnostic tool.
Do you have one yourself?
@@Jethrumi - I would strongly suggest you invest in the tool if you plan on keeping the bike for a while.
