How are this guy's videos only at 100+ likes? Very informative and excellent camera angles to help see components. 4 times out of 5 when I watch someone do maintenance on TH-cam it looks like they were trying to get their dog to hold the camera for them.
At least the search algo works well enough to find you... Just got my water wetter because my tracks aren't allowing engine ice any more either, and this was right down the middle the exact video I wanted to watch before I drained and filled my own s1k.
I'm almost done doing the flush on my sister's S1000RR and man I just can't stand the amount of torx screws in the fairings. She's getting a normal Allen key screw kit asap ahahah. Thanks for the video it was very helpful 🏍
OfficeBear just buy the 2 torx bits you need. Now you’ll have a bunch of mismatched fasteners. Torx are much harder to strip if you know what you’re doing. Dont be stupid. Or just take it to someone that knows what they are doing
Justin Poretta, yeah I'll be back home so to speak, in July. I'd like to do a track day during my visit but, we'll see. But you are more than welcome to roll with us!
ESBKLife That would be awesome. Last year I did a track day with penguin racing school they do track days in Loudon New Hampshire and Palmer mass at another track and I believe there’s another company called fishtail that does track days at the same tracks and another track in Connecticut.
ESBKLife so I’m sure we can find a track day to get into I will try and DM U on Instagram for a more direct way to talk so I don’t have to leave a long story on your comments lol.
Your videos are well done- thanks for posting these. I really wish you'd do this for the MV Agusta F3 800 RC as I want to do it (flush my coolant) but would like to see you do it on video first.....thanks for all the videos!
You're too kind- I'll definitely hold off until you can do it and if you'd like i can link this video to MVAgusta.net forums so the members can check it out along with your other videos. Thanks again for the effort, your videos are excellent!
Here in the Phoenix valley it rarely gets below freezing, so yeah I run distilled water and a coolant additive in all of my bikes, track and street. Right now I have water wetter in my street bike and MoCool in my track bikes. I've used engine ice in the past as well. All are better at cooling your bike than antifreeze.
ive noticed my overflow is between max and min cold.. is it ok to just add distilled water into the overflow reservoir? because thats exactly what i did spot on to the max mark and ive noticed that it seems like the temp gauge climbs up faster than before
Anywhere between min and max is ok. I'd recommend a jetprime performance water pump and silicone hoses. If that's too pricey for you, theres a mod to add a manual on switch for the fan. That way you can turn the fan on before it gets too hot. I've always MV turns the fans on too late.
Vilouboy Yes that's the plan. In fact, I would have had them by now if I didn't purchase the table lift. But, the plan is to have them before years end.
Man, that engine ice looks used and abused. Is it typical for it to break down and need replacement more frequently than other coolants? Ideally I'd do mine every year, but my BMW is 3 years old now and the coolant still doesn't look like that haha.
Excellent tutorial video, 2024 and still useful! Thanks a lot!
I like the way you explain things and your speech rate is very good as well. Well done keep it up

What can I say, the YT algorithm doesn't like me lol. But thx for the compliment😁

Hey Steve. I don't have an RC but, all of the F3's are the same. If you can hang in there for a week or so, i'll have one posted.

All the suzuki bikes have like a valve that releases cooling system air, like a nipple, its usually under the gas tank, BMW should add one next time
Would you use water wetter on a daily ridden bike?

Good video, will sub
Nice video 👌

Good content brother.
Completely off topic, but any plans on rebuilding the forks (Nitron components)?
Keep the videos coming

ESBKLife...Good Stuff. Can’t wait to see you on the track once you get the cartridges
