Ruislip Lido Railway Steam Gala

This is the Ruislip Lido Railway, a 12in narrow gauge railway that run through forests surrounding Ruislip Lido. The railway held their steam gala, a rarity for this railway given its singular steam resident and it's unique gauge. Regardless, 3 steam locos were in operation over the weekend, the most they've had.
This was a nice opportunity as it had been a while since i had last visited, in fact, the last time we came, Mad Bess was bowing out of service, a video that can be seen in the early years of this channel. It was rather nice to be able to recreate the shot I had taken back then, surprising amount of changes.
One of the main reasons I attended was to see DHR B Class in miniature, 'Sherpa', having seen the 'big one' in operation, Sherpa was next to see, it was out of service when I visited Fairbourne Railway so this was actually my first time laying eyes on it, a lovely locomotive, very accurate to the real thing!
Also seen in this video was me at the helm of two more locomotives, Bayhurst and John Rennie, these two were very nice to drive, decent length too so I could properly open it up, something I'd been keen to do. Love the air horn!😂
