Ruislip Lido Railway | 2024 Steam Gala with 'Christopher' & 'Sherpa'

Over the early May Bank Holiday of May 4th, 5th & 6th, the RLR held our first Steam Gala which featured our very own Mad Bess, Christopher from the Littlehampton Miniature Railway for the second time and a first visit by Sherpa from the Fairbourne Miniature Railway in North Wales.
The steamers worked all the service trains over the 3 day gala, while diesels John Rennie & Bayhurst were available for the popular ‘driver for a fiver’ experience. We hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of 3 steam engines working hard over some of our steep gradients.
