I mean it’s been a reliable engine but the main things to consider is that it’s hard to pull the starter so on a bike it may be tough to not yank the bike over. You won’t be able to hook up a kill switch so you’ll have to have easy assess to the decompression switch for emergency cut off it the engine starts to run away as diesels can do. Lastly the throttle can’t be hooked up in a normal fashion based on the design they have used, I have a video on the throttle set up that will make a little more since. If you’re willing to work with all that it would be unique.
@@jwsbackyard6413are you bringing it to compression? You,might have to play with it a bit. If you just leave the decomp in Actived and pull till it stops, it still isn't at Tdc. Push the decomp down and turn say another quarter to three quarters very slightly to this then give it a yank it could trigger the decomp to de activate so you might have to hit it again. Then give it the God yank. But also befire you do any of that, hold the decomp and pull it over few times makes sure the piston is trying to contact the valve doing this. The idea is to let the injector crack a time or two. Also lets you know if the injector might be sticking ahead of time before you go giving it the beans
@jwsbackyard6413 If that's the way it came, I'm not surprised. The fuel filters are installed backwards from factory too. I completely disassembled mine right out of the box and rebuilt it.
Good video. Thanks.
Should i get one of these for my chopper project? Ive been looking for an unconventional motor

Well how about ripped the starter case off and using an electric drill? just a thought 🤣

@@Anthonytheredneck yes to all of that. It just has a pretty heavy pull compared something like a 212
@@jwsbackyard6413 Then your in good hands vertain parts like the flywheel and other bits are probably heavier, then parts within a 212
Putting the gasket in the correct way the first time would do the same thing.🤦♂️
Yeah that would have been nice if they would have done that
