Saved a lot of work and time having D and the boys bringing all that product up and loaded on the roof.
You should check with Home Depot about a sponsorship. Or at least a good discount for mentioning them.

When you said you had "tricks for moving large objects alone", I was immediately reminded of the man whom built the Coral Gables coral castle in Florida. He built a castle alone and then moved it all by himself. Multi-ton blocks of coral with levers, ropes and pulleys.

I'm watching this video on 26/06/2023 - a bit late for comments but I do enjoy watching how the fortress is progressing and all the clever engineering ideas you come up with when using the Design Metal Cutter machine at David Sparks Workshop. Also, all the fixer uppers you do with vehicles and I love it when you go snow bike riding into the hills looking for undiscovered caves, who knows you might become a rich billionaire, but monies not everything in life, just as long as you are able to enjoy life itself, by being out in nature and get satisfaction when you complete a project. You will feel a great bliss of joy when the Fortress is completed. Hope we see the END from the BEGINNING. So keep going Wizard but don't wear yourself out - always take time out for yourself. Just looking at all those tires they would make a good concrete or even clay dirt with straw filled wall around your edges of the mountain where you are filming this on the sunday, to prevent others going over the edge LOL!!!

I love the idea behind your castle compound its freaking cool. Just a suggestion while you putting up your blocks you should have a camera set up somewhere showing the process being done like a fast pace montage or something like that. But other than that keep up with the work it looks great

yeah, I would love to see him do the actual work too, not just talk about what he is going to do and then cut and then show us what was done. Setting up a camera on a tripod from a slight distance with 'time-lapse' mode might be cool to see a few hours of work condensed into a few minutes of time.

Found you from a recommended video about your fire from heavy d. I'm sorrry for what happen and i'd love to help out but I'm in a bit of a rough situation right now financially myself. So instead I'm going to put your videos on repeat and let the ads play all the way thru to help you via your YT monetization. I know it's not much but it all adds up and it's the best I can do to help right now. From the couple I've watched already, I can say that I love your spirit. You're truly an amazing person.

Loving all the positive comments from the fans. The wizard really has a lot people pulling for him to get er done.
Seriously, if a coordinated schedule could be worked out, you could really have a volunteer work force for a month. Not too many at once, but maybe 10-15 people a day. The wizard volunteers?
    Think about it.

Alan, have you ever seen the "Marty T" channel here on TH-cam? I think if you and Marty ever met, you'd be friends. Marty is a homesteader in New Zealand. He generates electricity from a water-powered turbine made from an old washing machine and has a bunch of heavy machinery that he has salvaged or has been given to him in a sort of "if you can get it running, you can have it" manner.

Hey Alan, you're doing a great job on the Fortress, and if you want to plant some trees then you can check out the Arbor Day Foundation and they will get anything for the location and state you're living in, but they will ask for a donation ( which isn't bad, just a couple of dollars) and I got twelve trees for a ten dollar donation which they are a good site to check out, but keep doing what you're doing, thanks for the update on the Fortress, you're getting her done brother, good job, thanks

Hi Alan , I love watching your videos , once you have progressed a bit and is settled ,you should get people to volunteer and stay over for a few days , whenever you dont help out DaveSparks. You should also start a "backpackers" , let people stay over (very basic accomodation , gas stove shower and bunk bed , that way they can pay you something per night.
There will be hundreds of people doing road-trips via mountain-bike,bike or car that will come for the sleep-over . . .and you get something out of it.
    Peace from South-Africa.

With the wind and wind gusts you have at the fortrest wind turbines for power will be great and there's the new designs ,they have ones that don't have big propellers , but instead look like columns and the wind goes through slots instead of large blades! Pretty neat, so recommend you take a look at all the new ways they capture the wind you might find something you like ! Great job, keep up the hard work!
