Texas State is a really big team to be such a small school. So much talent all over Texas.
Its a big enough school to be relevant and they've been so bad for so long.... I went there for 7 yeats, haha, so I'm not hating, this win was a SHOCKER to me and I'm so excited

Wow!! I graduated from TXState 2007 and attended a few games fortunately wins but I know we'd had some tough seasons. I have a Baylor alum friend always bragging how great they are so this feels great😂 I'm excited to see them nxt week vs UTSA!

That is not a valid excuse. You see what happened when his O-line broke down during this game several times...he made something happen. At Auburn, I don't know if he had the drive he did in this game.

No, we’ve known all along how terrible our coaches, o-line, and receivers were for the past several years. There’s a reason Harsin only lasted less than 2 seasons at Auburn. Bo Nix and Finley both got a raw deal (as has Robby Ashford) being stuck with awful circumstances, and both have done well being with actual coaches and actual teammates since they’ve left. Now, hopefully we have the guy to make our team and program actually able to play football again. Great game by Finley and the Bobcats!

How embarrassing. This was Baylor's paid-for guaranteed win, and they decide to relive the great Kevin Steele/Guy Morriss days where they consistently showed their ability to lose to almost anyone. (They DID beat the Southern Illinois Salukis - Kevin Steele's most magnificient and greatest win. Whoo hooo.) Imagine if he rips it up with curry and Benard, rising plays, and kueithie? Oh my gosh. Our D should bring the heat as they always do unless it's Ohio state or Penn state. I have never seen Baylor play tbh so I was very scared of the name alone. But I think Utah is no slouch and we could very well go 3-0 to open.

Wyoming beat Texas Tech and Colorado beat TCU alongside Fresno State beating Purdue. Pretty solid Saturday and we still have games on Sunday and Monday of importance.
Colorado better enjoy they won't be going against to many teams with non existent defence like TCU
@@phantomblade89 The Big 12 as a whole isn’t really known for defense. Granted they have gotten better defensive teams over recent years but still not as good as the SEC and Big 10.

Illinois had one of the best defenses in all of college football last year and best in the Big Ten Look up Illinois defense last year. Penn State , Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State always have solid defenses way better statistically than anything the Big 12 has
I guess the Big 12 IS the most competitive conference. Competitive with Texas State, Wyoming, Central Arkansas...
